Hi there,

on this card I tried out something I saw on the Simon Says Stamp Blog and I call it Multi-Layer-Monoprinted-Tissue-Paper Background:

take six pieces of white tissue paper and cover them with different monoprints using the Stampendous Creative Palette Monoprinting Plate, Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylic Paints (Magenta, Sky, White) and some stencils (Studio Calico Chevron, Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Hearts, Memory Box Splatter Spray)
color the dried pieces with Distress Stains (Salty Ocean, Picked Raspberry, Black Soot)
collage the pieces on a piece of watercolor paper using Multi Medium Matte
cut the background piece to size and use a Scallop Border Punch on the top and bottom
use white cardstock as a base and stamp Hero Arts Horizontal Lines with Versafine Onyx Black on it
stamp Gorjuss The Collector on a piece of watercolor paper and color with Derwent Inktense Pencils; I gave her a tiny nose and a smiling mouth with a black PITT Artist Pen
cover the shirt with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
stamp the sentiment from The Alley Way Stamps Speak Easy with Versamark on a piece of vellum and heat-emboss with WOW! Pink Sorbet embossing powder
stamp kesi'art Zig Zag on the back of the vellum strip with Versafine Onyx Black and heat-emboss with WOW! Silver Pearl embossing powder to mute the black down a little
round the top right corner with a 1'' inch corner rounder and add three Doodlebug Design Sequins (Beetle Black)

create a background on watercolor paper: start with a light wash of Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors and add dots with Distress Ink (Black Soot), Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink, Resist Chalk Edger (Fall Leaf), Versamagic (Turquoise Gem)
add faux stitching with a black PITT Artist Pen and with a white gel pen
mat on a piece of patterned paper from the Gorjuss 8x8 paper pad
stamp cute little bee from The Alley Way Stamps Priceless Joy and color with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and Zest-it
add Distress Glitter (Clear Rock Candy) to the wings

Hi there,

today, I got this "cute, pastel, heart, stars and polka dots card" for you.

use white cardstock as a base
cut out star and heart scribbles from Amanda Robinson Studio in three different sizes and color them with Distress Stains (Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar)
stamp Docrafts Gorjuss You brought me Love main image with Versafine Vintage Sepia on watercolor paper and color the cute girl with CarbOthello Pastel Pencils and a waterbrush - yes, these fabulous pastel pencils are water-soluble - what a great combination!
emphasize dot details on dress and hair ribbons with white gel pen
cut out three strips from white cardstock
color the smallest with silver gel pen and Distress Marker (Pumice Stone)
cut the middle one into an arrow shape, add the sentiment from Hero Arts All Occasion Messages with Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Silver) and faux stitching on the right end with a silver gel pen
stamp Hero Arts Dots with Versamark on the largest strip and color with Distress Stains (Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar) thus creating an emboss resist; color the edge with Distress Marker (Shaded Lilac)
