Peace Tag

Hi there,

it's time for the annual participation of STAMPlorations in the 25 Days of Christmas Tags Event:

• cut out a CUTplorations Manila Tag from watercolor paper
• run the tag through your Big Shot with the ARTplorations Dream Flower stencil on top in order to emboss the flower shapes into the tag
• add color using Distress Stain Tarnished Brass and Distress Ink Ground Espresso
• stamp the wreath from the STAMPlorations Joyful set with Versafine Clair Pinecone and color it with CarbOthello Pastel pencils
• use Stickles XMas Red for the berries
• cut the CUTplorations Peace Love Joy phrase die from kraft cardstock and only use the Peace for this particular tag
• add color to the sentiment with the help of the Distress Stain Tarnished Brass
• dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Paint Festive Berries
• add splatters with watered-down white acrylic paint

Hi there,

today, I got this "cute, pastel, heart, stars and polka dots card" for you.

• use white cardstock as a base
• cut out star and heart scribbles from Amanda Robinson Studio in three different sizes and color them with Distress Stains (Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar)
• stamp Docrafts Gorjuss You brought me Love main image with Versafine Vintage Sepia on watercolor paper and color the cute girl with CarbOthello Pastel Pencils and a waterbrush - yes, these fabulous pastel pencils are water-soluble - what a great combination!
• emphasize dot details on dress and hair ribbons with white gel pen
• cut out three strips from white cardstock
• color the smallest with silver gel pen and Distress Marker (Pumice Stone)
• cut the middle one into an arrow shape, add the sentiment from Hero Arts All Occasion Messages with Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Silver) and faux stitching on the right end with a silver gel pen
• stamp Hero Arts Dots with Versamark on the largest strip and color with Distress Stains (Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar) thus creating an emboss resist; color the edge with Distress Marker (Shaded Lilac)
