Hi there,

today, we are starting a new Theme Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations and this time it is all about Bunnies:

• color the Fresh Brewed Designs Happy Hopper with Delta Markers and a white gel pen
• create a background on watercolor paper using a piece of acetate, Distress Inks (Wild Honey, Mowed Lawn) and water from your Mini Mister
• cut out a stitched panel with the Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers
• add Pretty Pink Posh Sequins (4mm and 6mm Mossy Green)
• stamp the sentiment from the Pink Cat Studio Easter Plate with Versafine (Olympia Green)

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you the card that I created as a DT member for the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #138:

• cut out a circle from white cardstock and stamp the image from Penny Black Garden Friends with Versafine (Onyx Black)
• color the cute little bunny with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it
• color the background with Jaxell Soft Pastels, a white pompon and masks from the Hero Arts Cloudy Stencil
• add Distress Glitter (Clear Rock Candy) to the butterflies
• mount the circle on a scalloped circle cut from patterned paper from the Create a Smile Feel Good paper pack
• round the top corners of a white cardbase with a 1'' corner rounder
• stamp the sentiment from the Pink Cat Studio - Easter Plate with Versamark on a strip of vellum and heat-emboss with Mineralisch-Malachit embossing powder
• replace the "a" with a flower embellishment

Stamp Connection #1

Hi there,

today, I want to share something brand new with you: The Stamp Connection.

Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our first transatlantic get-together!

Our requirements for our first meet-up were:
"Easter Bunny/Bunnies and Stencil"

• stamp the cute little bunny from Pink Cat Studio Easter Plate with Versafine (Vintage Sepia) onto a Neenah Desert Strom Kraft cardbase
• cover the image with an egg-shaped mask cut from Eclipse Tape
• ink up the edges of the mask with Distress Ink (Broken China)
• cover the card with the My Favorite Things Jumbo Polka Dot Stencil and apply Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink using a sponge dauber
• slightly offset the mask and draw dashed lines with a Distress Marker (Broken China)
• stamp the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Stamps Sweet Little Sentiments with Versafine (Vintage Sepia) along thr egg shape - that is one of the good things about clear stamps ... you can manipulate their shape to a certain extent
• remove the mask and add faux stitching with the same Distress Marker to the inside of the egg
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Pencils, Zest-it and Liquid Applique

Happy Easter Trio

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you my creation with the From the Heart Stamp of the Month:

• colour the images from From the Heart Stamps Happy Easter Trio with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it
• add faux stitching with the Paper Smooches Stiched Dies to a piece of patterned paper from the Create a Smile Feel Good paper pack and use foam tape to adhere the images
• cover a white cardbase with patterned paper from the same paper pad
• stamp the sentiment from Pink Cat Studio Easter Plate on a white banner with Versafine (Smokey Grey)
• stamp the tiny squares from Mama Elephant On Point Borders on top of the sentiment to add some texture with Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Soft Pool); ink the edges with the same ink color
• wind Prima Jute Trim Wheat around the card front
• round the bottom corners with a 1'' corner rounder
