Karten-Kunst - Süße Grüße

Hello there,

this is my second card as a Design Team Member of Karten-Kunst.
Become a follower of my blog and never miss my newest creations.

• use white cardstock as a base and cover the cardfront with light kraft cardstock
• cut stripes, banners and main panel from Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics 6x6 paper pad and ink the edges with Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap) and the Mini Ink Blending Tool
• stamp the sentiment from Karten-Kunst Inchie-Grüße 2 with Colorbox Cat's Eye Black before you adhere the main panel with foam dots ("Süße Grüße" is German and means "Sweet Greetings"), the sentiment stamp normally has two lines but I first stamped the first part and masked off the second and then stamped the second word right next to it
• stamp Wee Stamps Beau and Bashful on watercolor paper with Colorbox Cat's Eye Black and mask off the second unicorn - by doing so you can get a whole new image
• color the sweet unicorn with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and Zest-it, use Wink of Stella pens for the mane and the tail
• as final touches add Glossy Accents to the horn and the flowers, hemp cord and three clear sequins

Sweet Birthday Fishes

Good Morning,

I made this card inspired by Julie's Word Search Card from Stretch your Stamps 2.

• stamp letters from Lawn Fawn Milo's ABCs on white cardstock with Hero Arts Shadow Ink Silver and highlight the sentiment with Memento Luxe (Rose Bud) - ... and I really don't know what happened  to the "S" - things like this really drive me crazy ... but it's handmade, right??
• create the fishbowl by cutting out 1 base and 5 frames from watercolor paper and 1 cover from acetate
• stamp the fish from Mama Elephant Cosmic Stars with Versafine Onyx Black on watercolor paper
• color the pieces with Peerless Watercolors
• add Glossy Accents dots as water bubbles

Seasons with Create a Smile

Hi there,

Create a Smile launched two new sets and I knew that I had to have "Your View". I created four mini cards representing the four seasons spring, summer, fall and winter.

• use kraft cardstock as a cardbase
• stamp the frame from Create a Smile Your View with Versafine Onyx Black on white cardstock and cut it out - repeat this step four times
• spring: stamp branch directly to frame piece and the birdhouse on a separate piece of white cardstock and cut out
• summer: stamp cat and sun on a separate piece of white cardstock and cut out
• fall: stamp dog on separate piece of white cardstock and cut out
• winter: stamp snowman on separate piece of white cardstock and cut out
• color all the pieces with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and Zest-it
• go around the edges of all the pieces with a black PITT artist pen 
• add heat-embossed raindrops (Silver) to the fall piece and snowflakes (White) to the winter piece
• create the backgrounds using Distress Inks (spring - Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans; summer - Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean; Fall - Weathered Wood, Stormy Sky; winter - Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire)
• adhere the pieces with foam tape
• create DIY wood veneer word banners for each piece (the free font is called Automobile)

Karten-Kunst - Endlich Sommer

Hi there,

I promised exciting news - here they are: today, I am sharing my first creation as a Karten-Kunst Design Team Member with you.

• use kraft-cardstock as a base
• stamp Karten-Kunst Hibiscus on watercolor paper with Versamark and heat emboss with clear embossing powder
• color the panel with Twinkling H20s
• cut the panel into stripes, ink the edges with Distress Ink (Dusty Concord) and the Mini Ink Blending Tool and adhere them to the card base with foam dots
• stamp sentiment from Mias Stempelküche 365 Tage on vellum with Staz-On Jet Black and wrap around the card (if you ink up your stamp with Versamark before putting on the Staz-On, the stamp will be easier to clean - "Endlich Sommer" is German and means "Finally Summer")
• round the top left corner with your corner rounder

Back to School

Hi there,

today, I have a sweet little Back-to-School-Card for you.

• use white cardstock as a base
• cover the cardfront with Farmhouse 302 patterned paper and ink the edges with Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap)
• cut frame 3 times - once from beige, once from green and once from black cardstock
• create chalkboard effect on black cardstock with Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment Ink
• stamp sentiment with Lawn Fawn Jessie's ABCs and the same white ink, stamp a second time with a little offset
• cut 4 tiny banners from the same patterned paper pad and stamp tiny heart from Lawn Fawn Science of Love with Versamark and apply two coats of Zing! Metallic Red embossing powder
• stamp book and calculator from the same stamp set on Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and color with Stabilo markers
