Winter Mail

Hi there,

I created this little Winter Mail tag for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a Karten-Kunst Tag from patterned paper
• create an envelope from patterned paper and add a star cut with the help of one of the dies from the Karten-Kunst Tags die set
• cut out the sentiment using the Karten-Kunst Kleine Sprüche Weihnachten
• ink up the edges of the tag with Distress Ink Evergreen Bough
• thread a string of twine through the hole of the tag

Hello Baby

Hi there,

I created this sweet card using the new Anjas Basteltraum Hallo Baby stamp set:

• stamp the cute little mouse and four toy blocks from the Anjas Basteltraum Hallo Baby set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background using Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar) and a cloud stencil 
• add splatters with watered-down Ink on 3 Liquid Pixie Dust
• stamp some of the little stars from the same set onto a piece of patterned paper with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Bright Whiíte Super Fine embossing powder
• cover a cardbase with this piece of patterned paper and ink up the edges with Distress Ink Antique Linen
• stamp the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black - the Hallo is from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Post Sprüche

I created this no-line watercolor card project using the Anjas Basteltraum Blumengrüße and Kleine Sprüche Selbstgemacht sets:

• stamp one of the flower arrangements from the Anjas Basteltraum Blumengrüße set with Distress Ink Antique Linen
• color the image with watercolors
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Selbstgemacht with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Platinum embossing powder
• add a strip of foiled cardstock and patterned paper to the right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
• round the bottom left corner with a 1'' corner rounder

Snow Flurry

Hi there,

today I would like to show you another snowflake card with a watercolor background using the wonderful Karten-Kunst Large Snowflake die:

• cut out the Karten-Kunst Large Snowflake from turquoise glitter paper
• create a background using the Schmincke Horadam Tundra Pink granulating watercolor
• add splatters with watered-down Finetec Mica Watercolor in Sterling Silver
• add a string of silver twine at the top of the snowflake and wrap it behind the card panel
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Große Worte Sternenzauber set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist

here's a cute tag that I created using an image from the Anjas Basteltraum Wollige Weihnachten stamp set:

• cut out a Clearly Besotted Stamps Scalloped Tag from watercolor paper and from patterned paper for the backside
• stamp one of the adorable little sheep and the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Wollige Weihnachten set with Versafine Onyx Black
• color the image with watercolors
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp one of the tiny hearts from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Post Sprüche with Distress Oxide Ink Victorian Velvet
• dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Ink Victorian Velvet and thread it through the hole of the tag
