• stamp Hero Arts Life of the Party Dots with Flitter Glue on another piece of white cardstock
• cover with Royal Peacock Megaflakes
• cut Miss Kate Cuttables Cute Sun base from cardstock and cover with gold embossing powder
• stamp "are my sunshine" sentiment from Avery Elle Fill in the Blank with Versafine Onyx Black
• add "You" with Tim Holtz idea-ology Label Letters

I would like to show you a watercolor card today.

• stamp Impression Obsession Cover-a-Card Scattered Dots with Memento Luxe (Bahama Blue) on kraft cardstock
• stamp Seashell from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Nautical Blueprints with Versamark on watercolor paper and heat-emboss with clear embossing powder
• color using Distress Inks as watercolors (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, Peacock Feathers, Broken China)
• add some paint splatters with diluted Distress Ink (Chipped Sapphire)
• cut panel to size and use one of the leftover strips for the sentiment
• stamp frame and "happy birthday" from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Simple Sayings in Memento Luxe (Bahama Blue)
• use neutral hemp cord to fasten the sentiment to the card

I mainly got inspired by the Muse Challenge #7 - like Beverley I also used butterflies with a white outline on kraft cardstock.I did not apply a whitewash first. For this reason, the colors are brighter and less pastel looking.

today, I would like to show you this tag.

• cut tag from vanilla cardstock as a base
• cut a slightly smaller tag from watercolor paper and create background with Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken China) and Mini Blending Tool
• cut waves from watercolor paper and color with Distress Inks (Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans)
• add Distress Glitter (Clear Rock Candy) and blue embossing powder to the tips of the waves
• stamp sentiment from Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine with Versamark Ink and heat-emboss with two different blue embossing powders
• stamp dolphin from Lawn Fawn Critters in the Sea on watercolor paper and color with Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Weathered Wood)
• cover the whole dolphin with clear embossing powder
• add two different strands of turquoise twine
• add faux stitching with Distress Marker (Salty Ocean)

• apply paste through chevron stencil, add some paint splatters with the rest of the ink; tone down the center with some white gesso
• color Meljen's Design Pair of Poppies with Prismacolor Colored Pencils
• stamp sentiment from Avery Elle Cupcakes on vellum and heat-emboss with silver embossing powder
• add Distress Glitter (Clear Rock Candy), twine and sequins as finishing touches

Miss you

Hi,

today, I would like to show you this card.

• kraft cardstock, white pigment ink and mini reversed chickenwire stencil
• apply Distress Ink (Squeezed Lemonade, Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry) with Mini Blending Tool
• cut seven hearts, a butterfly and the "you" and cover generously with gold embossing powder
• glue to the background
• stamp the "miss" with Lawn Fawn's Jessie's ABCs and heat-emboss, too
• glue the card front to white cardstock, leave border at the top and bottom

I should really blend different colors of Distress Ink together more often because it looks so beautiful. The kraft cardstock gives everything a more pastel look.

Good morning,

this is my 150th post - unbelievable ...

Here is a special card for you.

It really turned out sweet and lovely. I used "Two Daisies in a Bottle" from A Day for Daisies. To finish the card, I applied white faux stitching and a tiny tag with a pink heat-embossed heart around the bottleneck. I pierced two tiny holes on both sides and put some neutral twine through them - this adds dimension as well as a certain amount if interactivity, since the tag remains free to be moved.

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you a card that I created for a friend's birthday. "Geburtstagsgrüße" is German and means "Birthday Greetings".
I used Wryn with a Cherry on Top and the Hearts Layering Stencil together with papers from the Daydreamer 12x12 Paper Pad. The sentiment from "Alles zum Geburtstag" is stamped on vellum.

hello baby

Hi,

here is another card that I would like to show you.

It was quite hard to photograph the "hello baby" sentiment. That's why I have some close-ups for you:

 

The card turned out to be very subtle but also very sweet. My main inspirations for this card were the Muse Challenge #71, the Color Throwdown Challenge #296 and the Curtain Call Challenge: Sweet Pea. I used four layers of the same cut - three from blue/pink cardstock and one from patterned paper with sweet little flowers. I puzzled the letters back into that same patterned paper. The stars serve as an extra embellishment made from three layers of cardstock and one layer of patterned paper with clear Wink of Stella on top. As a final touch, I added some neutral twine and the card was done.
