Mixed Media Tulips

Hi there,

I created this Mixed Media Tulip Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• stamp two Karten-Kunst Scribble Tulips with Distress Ink Antique Linen on a piece of watercolor paper 
• color the tulips using watercolors
• add some splatters
• ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Frayed Burlap
• create the background on a piece of watercolor paper
• use watered-down Distress Re-Inker Aged Mahogany to add color
• stamp the Karten-Kunst Script Background with Distress Ink Ground Espresso for extra texture
• ink up the edges of the background panel with Distress Ink Ground Espresso
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Nyala Script Für Dich from Vellum and kraft cardstock

Today is your Lucky Day

Hi there,

I created this Lucky Clover Card for Anjas Basteltraum:

• create a striped-background using watered-down Distress Re-Inker Lucky Clover
• add some splatters with that same ink
• stamp the clover from the Anjas Basteltraum Glückwünsche set with Distress Oxide Ink Lucky Clover and the sentiment from that same set with Versafine Onyx Black
• cut out some clovers with the help of the Lawn Fawn Lucky Clovers die set and color them with Paper Artsy Emerald Isle
• add a strip of green cardstock to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Magical Snowman

this is another Gerda Steiner Designs Christmas Project and on this card I used the adorable Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Snowman Stamp Set:

• stamp the snowman and the bird from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Snowman set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
• color the image with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens
• color the background with watered-down Distress Re-Inker Stormy Sky and a watercolor brush
• apply Nuvo Glacier Paste Frostbite through the Memory Box Tiny Snowflakes stencil and let this layer dry thoroughly
• cut out the STAMPlorations Magical word die from silver cardstock and add it to the top of the panel as a sentiment
• add to strips of patterned paper to the left and the right of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

I created this sweet Miss You Card for the Stamping-Fairies Blog:

• stamp the little girl with the owl and the teddy bear from the Neat & Tangled Better Together set with My Favorite Things Extreme Black Ink
• color the images with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers and add highlights with a glass dip pen and white gouache
• cut out a wonky stitched panel from watercolor paper and create a background with the help of watered-down Distress Re-Inker Broken China, Distress Oxide Ink Dusty Concord and the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Argyle
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Onyx Black
• stamp three more hearts with Distress Oxide Ink Worn Lipstick
• add highlights to the letters and hearts with a glass dip pen and white gouache
• adhere some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins as final embellishments
• add some sparkle to the bow with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter and some shine and dimension to the heart with Nuvo Crystal Glaze

I created this spring tag for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out the largest of the Karten-Kunst Tags from watercolor paper
• stamp the outline image of the Karten-Kunst Pfingstrose with Distress Oxide Ink Dusty Concord and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Platinum embossing powder
• stamp over the heat-embossed image again with that same purple ink and mist it with water from your Mini Mister
• let the color do its thing
• add same splatters with watered-down Distress Re-Inker Black Soot
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Onyx Black
• dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Oxide Ink Dusty Concord and thread it through the hole of the tag

I used one of my all time favorites the Gerda Steiner Designs Cat with Balloons on this card:

• color the Gerda Steiner Designs Cat with Balloons with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a damp watercolor brush
• add highlights with a glass dip pen
• create an accent strip on Lanavanguard Paper using Alcohol Inks (Cool Peri, Pink Sherbet, Aqua)
• adhere the strip to a white cardbase, add the cat on top and cut out the thanks from the Lawn Fawn Gift Box die set from Tonic Luna Silver cardstock
• add little dots to the right side of the cat using DIY Distress Gouache and a glass dip pen
• round the top right corner with a 1'' corner rounder

Hi there,

on this project for Elisabeth Craft Designs I simply turned a tiger into a tabby cat:

• cut out all the elements from the Elisabeth Craft Designs Lion/Tiger die set from white Soft Finish Cardstock, add color with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers and shading with Distress Ink Black Soot
• use a white gel pen and a black fineliner for the details in the cat's face
• cut out a little flower from the Elisabeth Craft Designs Adventure Edges 2 die set and adhere it at the cat's right ear 
• use Elisabeth Craft Designs clear double-sided adhesive to adhere a piece of ribbon to white cardstock and cut out the Elisabeth Craft Designs Thanks from this "ribbon paper"
• set the die cuts aside and create the background on a stitched panel of watercolor cardstock
• stamp the flowers from the Elisabeth Craft Designs Patterns 1 stamp set twice with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add color using Distress Oxide Inks (Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord) and a Blending Brush
• add splatters with watered-down Distress Re-Inker Dusty Concord

Frosty Squirrel

Hi there,

I created this frosty card for Elizabeth Craft Designs:

• create a frame using two of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Frame it - Stitched Rectangles and grey cardstock
• cut a watercolor panel to fit into the frame
• stamp the squirrel and the mistletoe from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Winter Animals set with Versafine Smokey Gray
• color the images with Derwent Inktense pencils and damp watercolor brush
• add color to the background with watered-down Distress Re-Inker Peacock Feathers
• cover the whole panel with Elizabeth Craft Designs clear double-sided adhesive and add Elizabeth Craft Designs Silk Microfine Glitter Cool Diamond
• take a slightly larger panel of turquoise cardstock and add color and shading with Distress Ink (Peacock Feathers, Pine Needles)
• stamp some snowflakes from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Snowflakes set with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Silver Bells embossing powder
• add some more embossing powder around the edges for a messy finish

• color the image with Altenew Watercolors
• add color to the background with watered-down Distress Re-Inkers (Pumice Stone, Chipped Sapphire)
• add snowflakes with watered-down white acrylic paint and a white gel pen
• cut the Karten-Kunst Nyala Script Frohes Fest from vellum and Nuvo Mirror Card Chrome Silver
• layer the watercolor panel onto a piece of grey cardstock before adhering it to a cardbase

• add highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background with the help of Bristol Smooth cardstock, one of the My Favorite Things Mini Scallop Circle STAX and Distress Inks (Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass)
• cut out a stitched panel from Bristol Smooth cardstock and add splatters with Distress Re-Inker (Shaded Lilac)
• cut out a banner using one of the die from the My Favorite Things Blueprints 27 set and stamp the sentiment from the Avery Elle Storybook set with Altenew Crisp Ink Deep Iris
