Color Blocking 2 - All my Love

Hi there,

it's Color Blocking Time again for the Karten-Kunst Blog. On this project I used the Karten-Kunst Delicate Plants:

• cover a cardbase with four different-sized stripes of colored cardstock
• stamp some of the Karten-Kunst Delicate Plants with Distress Oxide Ink Hickory Smoke
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Das rockt Alles Liebe from Vellum and grass cardstock
• add some sequins as final embellishments

Originals-Only-Day 2025 - Karten-Kunst

Hi there,

I created this card for Karten-Kunst to support this year's Originals-Only-Day:

• cut out a square from grass cardstock using one of the dies from the Karten-Kunst Square Card Designer die set
• stamp the Tic-Tac-Toe grid from the Create a Smile Tic Tac Toe set with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf
• put the square on some kraft cardstock and add faux stitching with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Capri Groß: Sprüche zu Ostern set with Distress Oxide Ink Evergreen Bough onto another panel of grass cardstock and heat-emboss it with Ranger Turquoise embossing powder
• add little bunnies and tulips cut from colored cardstock with the help of the Karten-Kunst Symbolisch Gemeint Ostern set
• add little dots with Karin Decogel Star Sparks pens

I created this tag for Anjas Basteltraum to support this year's Originals-Only-Day using the Anjas Basteltraum Ostereimalerei stamp set:

• cut out an egg with the help of one of the Taylored Expressions Egg Stacklets
• stamp the adorable little bunny from the Anjas Basteltraum Ostereimalerei set with Lawn Fawn River Rock
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen and the Karin Decogel Milky Way pens
• add a hole at the top and thread two strands of twine through it

Woodland Library Bookmark

Hi there,

I created this sweet Bookmark for Mennys Bastelshop:

• cut out the Lawn Fawn Stitched Bookmark from woodgrain cardstock and add backgrounds to the windows using Grass Cardstock
• stamp the images from the Lawn Fawn Little Woodland Library set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• add some extra details to the windows using the lamp, the plant and the books from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Bookmark die set
• thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

Color Blocking 1 - Hello Daisies

Hi there,

today, I am going to start a little series for the Karten-Kunst Blog. For the next 5 weeks it is going to be all about Color Blocking. This is my first creation using the Karten-Kunst Scribble Daisies:

• cover a cardbase with four stripes of colored cardstock
• stamp some of the Karten-Kunst Scribble Daisies with Versamark and heat-emboss them with holographic embossing powder
• cut out two Karten-Kunst Ash Leaves from vellum
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Riesiges Hallo from colored and grass cardstock
• stamp the sub-sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 2 set with Versamark onto a strip of black cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add some sequins as final embellishments

I created this sweet Postage Card using the My Favorite Things Barnyard Bunch stamp set and the Waffle Flower Postage Collage A6 die set:

• cut out the Waffle Flower Postage Collage A6 from white cardstock
• stamp images from the My Favorite Things Barnyard Bunch set with Gina K. designs Obsidian - use the masking technique
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• mask all the images and create a background using Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass, Frayed Burlap)

• cut out three Tim Holtz Vintage Labels from smooth white cardstock
• stamp the images and the sentiments from the Anjas Basteltraum Einkochspass set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Rustic Wilderness, Candied Apple, Festive Berries)

Let's Celebrate

I created this Celebration Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• stamp two leaves from the Karten-Kunst Scribble Leaves set and the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Circulus Runde Geburtstagssprüche set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the leaves with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• add some dots with the Karin DecoGel Star Sparks Brown pen
• add strips of black cardstock and patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

I created this cute watercolor tag for Mennys Bastelshop using one of the images from the My Favorite Things Hang Out and Celebrate stamp set:

• cut out a tag from watercolor paper
• stamp one of the images from the My Favorite Things Hang Out and Celebrate set with VersaMagic Sahara Sand
• color the image with watercolors
• ink up the edges of the tag with leftover Distress Ink from your Blending Brushes
• thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

• cut out some rectangles from watercolor paper
• add some color with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Art Nouveau watercolors
• stamp a shape from the Karten-Kunst Circulus12 Schneeflocken set with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves 
• rough up the edges and ink them up with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• place the rectangles on a panel of grass cardstock and adhere this to a kraft cardbase
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 3 set with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves

I created this maritime watercolor card using the Anjas Basteltraum Küstengrüße stamp set:

• stamp the lighthouse from the Anjas Bastelraum Küstengrüße set with Distress Oxide Ink Lost Shadow
• color the image and the background with watercolors 
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Meerzeit set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
• cut out two Sunny Studio Stamps Eyelet Lace Borders from dark blue cardstock and add them to the left and right side of the watercolor panel before adhering it to a cardbase

• cut out one Tim Holtz Stitched Rectangle from watercolor paper and one from grass cardstock
• stamp four mushrooms from the Lawn Fawn To my Fungi stamp set with Distress Oxide Ink Antique Linen
• color the images with watercolors
• stamp the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens set with VersaMagic Sahara Sand

Love Wreath

Hi there,

I created this lovely Wreath Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog using the Circulus12 Stamping Tool:

• stamp a wreath on a kraft panel using the Circulus12 Stamping Tool, the Karten-Kunst Circulus Zweige set with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Polished Gold Super Fine embossing powder
• cut the Karten-Kunst Small Flower Wreath from grass cardstock and kraft cardstock - ink up the kraft wreath and the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• add some Stickles Platinum to the berries
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Das rockt Alles Liebe from Vellum and pink pearlescent cardstock
• add some dots to the letters with a white gel pen
