Thinking of You Flowers

Hi there,

I created this sweet Flower Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut out two squares from smooth white cardstock using dies from the Karten-Kunst Square Card Designer set
  • cut out three tulips from the Karten-Kunst Symbolisch gemeint Ostern die set and two hearts from the Karten-Kunst Square Card Designer set
  • color the tulips and the hearts with Ohuhu Markers 
  • stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Textrahmen-Worte 2 set with Versafine Onyx Black

Botanical Shaker

Hi there,

I created this botanical Shaker Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog using the Karten-Kunst Mojito Cutout Alles Liebe:

  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Mojito Cutout Alles Liebe from smooth white cardstock
  • mask off the cutout
  • apply Distress Ink (Rustic Wilderness, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters) through the STAMPlorations Emanations stencil
  • create a shaker element underneath the cutout using acetate and double-sided foam adhesive - fill the shaker with green and yellow sequins
  • add strips of colored cardstock to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
  • add some clear and yellow gemstones as final embellishments

You are amazing!

Hi there,

I created this cute project for Mennys Bastelshop using the Sunny Studio Stamps Foxy Friends set:

  • stamp a fox and some chicks from the Sunny Studio Stamps Foxy Friends set with Gina K. Obsidian onto a panel of smooth white cardstock
  • color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • mat the panel onto dark brown cardstock
  • stamp the sentiment from the Create a Smile Du set with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves
  • run a panel of grass cardstock through your Big Shot in the Spellbinders Argyle Plaid embossing Folder and ink up its edges with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs

Jam Labels

Hi there,

I created these jam labels using the Anjas Basteltraum Einkochspass stamp set:

  • cut out three Tim Holtz Vintage Labels from smooth white cardstock
  • stamp the images and the sentiments from the Anjas Basteltraum Einkochspass set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
  • color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Rustic Wilderness, Candied Apple, Festive Berries)

Hello Wreath

Hi there,

I created this Wreath Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog using the Circulus8 Stamping Tool:

  • stamp some elements from the Karten-Kunst Circulus Blätterkranz set onto a rounded panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock using Distress Oxide Ink (Shabby Shutters, Gathered Twigs)
  • add some shading and color with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
  • cut out the sentiment with the help of the Karten-Kunst Lucky Alphabet, the Karten-Kunst Lucky Alphabet Lower Case, golden foiled cardstock and green cardstock
  • ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs and add some splatters with golden Finetec Mica Watercolor
  • adhere the panel to a grass cardstock cardbase

Penguin #KKSkizze027

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you a card that I created according to a Karten-Kunst Sketch for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • stamp one of the Karten-Kunst Penguins with Lawn Fawn Jet Black onto a Karten-Kunst 1/4 Inch Scalloped Circle cut from smooth white cardstock
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • add a slightly larger circle cut from lime colored cardstock
  • create a background using dark blue cardstock, the Sizzix Winter Foliage embossing folder, white pigment ink around the edges and WOW! Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing glitter
  • add a turquoise strip to the middle section heat-embossed with the Karten-Kunst Borders stamps, Versamark and WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

Gnome Tag

Hi there,

it's Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this week we agreed on creating a tag:

  • cut out a tag from Bristol Smooth Cardstock
  • stamp one of the adorable gnomes and the sentiment from the My Favorite Things Happy Birthday to my Favorite Gnomie set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • ink up the edges of the tag with all colors of the rainbow (I just used the leftover ink on my blending brushes)
  • add a strand of twine through the hole of the tag

Make a Wish

Hi there,

here is another project using the new Karten-Kunst Delicate Plants and the Schriftzug-Set WĂĽnsch Dir was stamp sets:

  • add color to Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Distress Oxide Ink (Squeezed Lemonade, Salvaged Patina, Seedless Preserves)
  • flick on some glittery water droplets for more texure
  • stamp some flowers from the Karten-Kunst delicate Plants set and the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Schriftzug-Set WĂĽnsch Dir was set with Versafine Onyx Black
  • add strips of black cardstock and patterned paper to the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to the cardbase

Best Brother

  • create a background on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with the help of Distress Oxide Inks (Salvaged Patina, Broken China)
  • add some water droplets for more texture
  • stamp the sentiment using the Karten-Kunst FĂĽr die tollsten Männer der Welt set and Versafine Smokey Gray
  • stamp some hearts from the Karten-Kunst Kränze & Kreise set with Distress Oxide Ink Peacock Feathers

Thanks Snow Much

Hi there,

we are starting a new TAGplorations Challenge on the STAMPlorations Blog and this time it is all about Winter and the optional twist is Texture Paste:

  • cut out one of the CUTplorations Stitched Tags from Bristol Smooth cardstock
  • stamp the adorable little houses from the STAMPlorations Homespun Christmas set and the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Winter Chill set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
  • color the image with Derwent Artists pencils
  • dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass and thread it through the hole of the tag
  • apply some Texture Paste through the ARTplorations Dots all over stencil and let it dry thoroughly


My daughter Emily (8) created a little Winter Tag too:

Thankful

Hi there,

  • cut out one of the CUTplorations Stitched Tags from Bristol Smooth cardstock
  • stamp the succulents and the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Thankful & Blessed set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
  • color the image with Derwent Artists pencils
  • dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Ink Bundled Sage and thread it through the hole of the tag
  • add some Nuvo Crystal Drops Olive Branch to finish the project

The best Friends have four Legs

Hi there,

I created this sweet cat lover card for the Stamping-Fairies Facebook Group:

  • stamp the little boy and the cat from the My Favorite Things Little Buddies set with Altenew Crisp Ink Silver Stone onto Bristol Smooth Cardstock
  • color the image with Prismacolor Colored Pencils
  • stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Onyx Black
  • add a strip of patterned paper from the ModaScrap Color of Puppies Boy 6x6 paper pad to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a white cardbase


Today, I have a special treat for you: My little daughter Emily (8) created a similar card for you. I think she did an amazing job.

Relax

Hi there,

I created this camping card for Elizabeth Craft Designs:

  • cut out a base from smooth white cardstock using one of the ModaScrap Dashing Squares
  • create clouds, hills and grass with the help of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Adventure Edges die set
  • add color with Distress Inks (Peeled Paint, Frayed Burlap, Tumbled Glass) and a Mini Ink Blending Tool
  • stamp the sentiment from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Beach Sentiments set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
  • stamp the trailer from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Camping out set with that same grey ink and color the image with Prismacolor Colored Pencils
  • add all the layers to a white cardbase

Thank you Flower Tag

Hi there,

I used the Karten-Kunst BlĂĽmchen-Meer stamp set to create this thank you tag:

  • cut out a stitched tag from Bristol Smooth Cardstock
  • stamp some flowers from the Karten-Kunst BlĂĽmchen-Meer set with Distress Oxide Ink (Cracked Pistachio, Broken China, Bundled Sage, Worn Lipstick, Gathered Twigs)
  • add shading with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Danke from grey cardstock
  • add some Nuvo Jewel Drops Sea Breeze around the flower arrangement
  • dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Oxide Ink (Broken China, Cracked Pistachio) and thread it through the hole of the tag

Willkommen - Welcome

Hi there,

I would like to show you this cute monster card over on the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • stamp the adorable little Karten-Kunst Daisy mit Geschenk with Distress Oxide Ink Antique Linen onto a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock
  • color the image with Prismacolor Colored Pencils 
  • create a background using the little start from the same stamp set on a stitched panel cut from Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock
  • cut out the Karten-Kunst GroĂźe Texte Willkommen three times from dark kraft cardstock and ink up the bottom edge with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
  • adhere a thin strip of violet glitter cardstock underneath the sentiment before adhering the panel to a grey cardbase

Merry Christmas Deer

Hi there,

I created this Christmas card using lots of Lawn Fawn goodies as inspiration for this month's Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge:


  • stamp the images from the Lawn Fawn Toboggan Together, Cheery Christmas and Winter Village sets with Memento Tuxedo Black and color them with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
  • add highlights with a white gel pen and some sparkle with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
  • cut out a stitched rectangle from Bristol Smooth cardstock and add color with Distress Oxide Inks (Borken China, Faded Jeans)
  • stamp the snowfall background from the Lawn Fawn Snow Cool set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • cut out two stitched hill shapes with the help of the My Favorite Things Stitched Snow Drifts and ink up the top edges with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass
  • the first part of the sentiment is from the Toboggan Together set and stamped with Versafine Crimson Red and the second part is from the Cheery Christmas and stamped with Versafine Onyx Black
  • adhere all the pieces with glue dots before adding all the elements to an off-white cardbase
