Happy Easter Bee

Hi there,

Emily and I created these sweet Easter Cards using the adorable bee from the Impronte d'Autore Sweet Bee stamp set:

• stamp one of the adorable bees from the Impronte d'Autore Sweet Bee set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian and color it with watercolors and Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• create a background using grass cardstock, Distress Oxide Inks, the ModaScrap Save the Bees die set and the Gummiapan Hallo and Flower Wreath from the Easter Calendar 2025
• add faux stitching with a yellow gel pen

Tea Ceremony Tag

Hi there,

I created another sweet tag for Mennys Bastelshop and this time I used the Impronte d'Autore Minako stamp set:

• cut out the Heffy Doodle Tag along from smooth white cardstock and patterned paper
• stamp the the scene using images from the Impronte d'Autore Minako set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian - use the masking technique
• color the images with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background with the help of the My Favorite Things On Solid Ground Stamp set, Versafine Clair Sand Dune, a pencil and a ruler
• ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Pumice Stone
• dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Ink Victorian Velvet and thread it through the hole of the tag

• color the image with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background on kraft cardstock with the help of the Stampendous Snowfall background stamp, Versamark, WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder and Distress Oxide Ink Chipped Sapphire
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versamark onto a strip of red cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

• color the image with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background on kraft cardstock with the help of the PaperNova Design Winter Stories Collection Trees set, Versamark, WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder and Delicata Silvery Shimmer
• stamp the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Joy to the Woods set with Versamark onto a piece of vellum and heat-emboss it with Ranger Aqua Tinsel embossing powder
• add strips of glitter paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Hi there,

as you may have seen in my Instagram Story on Tuesday I created this card for Mennys Bastelshop using two items from the new Impronte d'Autore Release - the Fox and the Alberi die sets:

• cut out the Impronte d'Autore Fox from colored cardstock and add extra shading with Distress Ink (Rusty Hinge, Lost Shadow, Tattered Rose) and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background with the help of  Distress Oxide Inks (Carved Pumpkin, Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire)
• add the Impronte d'Autore Alberi and a hillshape cut from Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock
• the sentiment strip is the finishing touch

Sweet Cat Tag

• cut out the Heffy Doodle Tag along from smooth white and kraft cardstock
• stamp the cat and the bunny from the Impronte d'Autore Harumi set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian - use the masking technique
• color the image with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background with the help of the My Favorite Things Cloud stencil and Distress Ink Tumbled Glass
• stamp the sentiment with Distress Oxide Ink Tumbled Glass
• thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag and add some glitter droplets as final embellishments

• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• ink up the edges of the panel with some leftover green and yellow ink
• create a background with the Sunny Studio Stamps Eyelet Lace Borders cut from white cardstock and patterned paper
• add one of the My Favorite Things Love Speech Bubbles colored with Alcohol Markers and Glitter Glue

it's Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this week's topic is "Paper Piecing". I chose the beautiful Impronte d'Autore Hula 1 stamp set for my Mixed Media tag project:

• stamp the girl and some flowers from the Impronte d'Autore Hula 1 set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the girl on patterned paper and cut out the dress
• layer it on top of the colored image and add shading with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• cover a tag with tissue paper and a paper doily
• add color with acrylic paints and a brayer
• splatter the tag with watered-down white acrylic paint
• for more texture stamp the Karten-Kunst Script Background with Archival Ink Watering Can
• ink up the edges of the tag with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Ink (Walnut Stain, Dusty Concord)
• thread the seam binding and two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background using the Hero Arts Tulip Pattern stencils and Distress Ink (Milled Lavender, Victorian Velvet, Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint)
• layer the panel on light purple cardstock before adding it to the cardbase
• add the Gummiapan Hallo as a sentiment cut three times from white cardstock

• create a background using Grass Cardstock, the Spellbinders Flowers and Foliage embossing folder and Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
• cut out the Spellbinders Floral Reflection from colored cardstock
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 2 set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Scorched Timber

Winter Birthday

here comes this week's project for Mennys Bastelshop. I created this sweet tag for a little boy who just loves dinosaurs. 

• stamp the dinosaur, the volcano and the hearts from the Lawn Fawn Roarsome set and the Santa hat, and the little boy from the Lawn Fawn Tiny Winter Friends set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian onto a tag cut from smooth white cardstock - use the Masking Technique
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos and highlights with a white gel pen
• add some Liquid Applique to the pompons and the rims of the hats and some glitter glue to the dots on the little dinosaur
• stamp some snowflakes from the Impronte d'Autore Snowman & Friends set with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• thread a string of twine through the hole of the tag
