A Winter Birthday

Hi there,

this week we are having a CAS Challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More:

• color the Bugaboo Stamps Birthday Penguin Tall Cake with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it
• add details with a white gel pen, a Pearl Maker and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter  
• stamp a background using the My Favorite Things Snowfall Background and Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Pastel Blue)
• stamp the sentiment from Waltzingmouse Stamps Little Deer with Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Pool)
• add a hill shape cut with the help of one of the Avery Elle Dotted Borders and cover it with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter

Merry Christmas Snowman

Hi there,

why don't you join us for our brand new Theme Challenge over at the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown:

• color the Bugaboo Stamps Snowman Block with Delta Markers and add details with a white gel pen
• cut out the word "Merry" from black toner paper and cover it with ICraft Deco Foil (green) using a laminator
• stamp the second part of sentiment from Lawn Fawn Trim the Tree with Versamark on a strip of black cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Seafoam White Super Fine embossing powder
• create the background by drawing a grid onto a piece of watercolor paper with a Versamarker and heat-emboss it with clear embossing powder
• apply Peerless Watercolors over the embossed grid which then acts a resist

Hi there,

here is my second card for the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge:

• create an ombre background on watercolor paper using Distress Inks (Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry)
• add layers by applying Distress Ink (Festive Berries) through Tim Holtz Layering Stencils (Hearts, Schoolhouse)
• mist the background with pearlized water
• color Bugaboo Stamps Clyde made with Love with Derwent Coloursoft Pencils and Zest-it; add Wink of Stella Clear Glitter and Glossy Accents to the three hearts
• stamp the sentiment from Elle's Studio Hello Sweetheart with Versafine (Onyx Black) directly onto the background panel
• add two banner shapes: one from embossed vellum (Sizzix Dots embossing folder) and one from the Crate Paper Fourteen 6x6 paper pad; add Distress Ink (Worn Lipstick) to the edges of the patterned paper banner
• adhere the dragon with foam tape
• use vanilla cardstock as a cardbase and round the top right corner with a 1/2'' corner rounder
