Happy Halloween

Hi there,

I created another Halloween card using the adorable C.C. Designs Cat Halloween for Menny's Bastelshop:

• stamp the adorable little witch cat from the C.C. Designs Cat Halloween set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist onto a piece of watercolor paper
• color the image with watercolors
• stick a circle mask to a watercolor panel
• create a background with Distress Oxide Ink (Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire)
• color in the moon with Finetec Mica Watercolors (Moon Gold, Meteor)
• add some splatters with watered-down InkOn3 Liquid Pixie Dust
• cut out some trees and a hill shape from black cardstock, stamp the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Fangtastic Friends set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

Meowy Halloween

Hi there,

it's Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this time our topic is "Halloween/Autumn/Fall" and I just had to play with my fluorescent watercolors again:

• stamp one of the adorable little cats, the spiderweb and the spider from the C.C. Designs Cat Halloween set with Gina K. Obsidian
• mask the image and create a background with Distress Ink (Prize Ribbon, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot)
• create a halo around the cat with Hero Arts Unicorn pigment ink
• add splatters with watered-down Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust
• for that special effect add some dots with yellow fluorescent watercolor - you can see the glow under a blacklight
• color the cat with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading and texture with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder and add a shadow with a white gel pen

Gift Certificate

Hi there,

It's Anything goes over at Addicted to Stamps and More I would like to show you a cute gift certificate card:

• partially die cut the My Favorite Things Little Letters from white cardstock
• create a background by applying Distress Ink (Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers - they mix in the middle to create that pretty purple) throught the C.C. Designs Birthday Dots stencil
• adhere pink patterned paper from the Avery Elle The Brights Collection behind the letters and add foam tape behind them
• ink up the edges of the background panel with Distress Ink (Picked Raspeberry)
• cut out the My Favorite Things Coffee Cup from patterned paper from the Avery Elle The Brights Collection, from white cardstock and from Neenah Desert Strom Kraft cardstock
• ink up the edges of the patterned paper with Distress Ink (Peacock Feathers)
• color the white piece with Distress Inks (Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy)
• stamp one of the lovely cats and a mouse from My Favorite Things I Knead you on the kraft piece and color the images with Delta Markers

Hi there,

connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our 18th transatlantic get-together!

Our requirement for this meet-up was:
"heat-embossing over texture paste"

• stamp one of the adorable little bunnies form the Memory Box Bunny Wishes set with Versafine (Onyx Black) on a stitched watercolor panel
• mask the bunny and stamp two trees from the same set
• apply Texture Paste through the C.C. Designs Birthday Dots stencil and add WOW! Whirpool embossing powder on top - heat-set the embossing powder with the help of your heat tool
• remove the mask and color the images with Daniel Smith watercolors
• stamp the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Mini Messages set with Versafine (Onyx Black)
• mat the watercolor panel on a piece of gray textured cardstock before adhering it to the cardbase

Fabulous Father's Day

Hi there,

I have fantastic news for you. I am guest-designing over at the Uniko Challenge and we would like you to create a Masculine Project with the option to make it a Father's Day Creation:

• stamp the take away coffee cup from the Uniko I love Coffee stamp set with Memento (Rich Cocoa) and mask it off
• stamp the cute little dog from Gerda Steiner Designs Howl are you? with the same ink
• mask the dog off as well and apply Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon) through the C.C. Designs Birthday Dots stencil with a Mini Ink Blending Tool in order to create an ombre background
• color the images with Delta and Touch Twin Brush Markers
• stamp the sentiment from the Uniko Simply Said stamp set with the same brown ink and cut out a stitched panel
• add a piece of grey shimmer cardstock to the left side of the card before adhering it to a white cardbase

• apply snow paste through the C.C. Designs Birthday Dots stencil
• stamp the adorable polar bears from the Avery Elle Polar Pals stamp set with Memento (London Fog) and color the images with Delta Markers

today, I would like to show you this cute snowman card that I created for the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown:

• stamp Stampendous Snowfall with Delicata (Golden Glitz) on a kraft cardbase
• stamp Lili of the Valley Grunge Music, Grunge Postcard and the sentiment from Christmas Handwritten Phrases with Versafine (Vintage Sepia) on watercolor paper and ink the edges with Distress Ink (Brushed Corduroy, Walnut Stain)
• mix a tiny droplet of the Delicata Inker (Golden Glitz) with water and add splatters on the different layers
• cut out a snowflake from white cardstock, cover it with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Whirpool embossing powder
• stamp the cute little snowman from C.C. Designs Meoples Dress up Snowman with Versafine (Smokey Gray) and color the image with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a waterbrush; ink the edges with Distress Ink (Brushed Corduroy); add Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the cap and the scarf and Liquid Applique to the pompon
