Merry Christmas Landscape

Hi there,

I created this little landscape for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a Karten-Kunst 1/8 Inch Circle and a hill shape from white cardstock 
• add color to the background circle with Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot
• use watered-down white gouache for some snowflakes
• stamp one of the Karten-Kunst Abstrakte Tannen with Distress Oxide Ink Rustic Wilderness and color it with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• cut out some stars from golden glitter paper with the help of the Karten-Kunst Confetti die set
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 2 set with Versamark onto a strip of dark blue cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• cover a cardbase with patterned paper and ink up the edges with Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire

Vintage Santa Tag-Duo

Hi there,

I created this vintage Santa Tag-Duo for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out two tags from watercolor paper
• stamp the Karten-Kunst Santa with Distress Ink (Vintage Photo, Worn Lipstick) and mist the stamped image with water
• ink up the edges of the tag with Distress Ink (Vintage Photo, Worn Lipstick)
• stamp the sentiments from the Karten-Kunst Weihnachten Modern set with Versamark onto strips of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss them with WOW! Seafoam White Super Fine embossing powder
• add some splatters with watered-down white gouache
• dye a piece of torn seam binding with watered-down Distress Ink Vintage Photo
• cover the backside of the tag with patterned paper

Let's build a Snowman!

Hi there,

it's Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this week the topic is "Creative without Paper/Kreativ ohne Papier":

• cover the top of a wood slice with white gesso
• stamp the images from the Mama Elephant Snow Friends set with Distress Oxide Ink Hickory Smoke and color them with Schmincke Horadam watercolors
• stamp some snowflakes from the Lawn Fawn Yeti or Not set with Distress Oxide Ink (Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass)
• use hot glue to add a loop of twine to the back of the tag

Fluffy Fall Squirrel

Hi there,

I created this fluffy squirrel card using the Anjas Basteltraum Herbstfreunde stamp set:

• stamp the squirrel from the Anjas Basteltraum Herbstfreunde set with Distress Oxide Ink Antique Linen onto a piece of watercolor paper, cut it out and color it with Frau von Bommel Boho watercolors
• add extra shading with Pitt Pastel pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background using stamps from the Karten-Kunst Capri Herbstgruesse set, Avery Elle Kraft pigment ink and Delicata Champagne
• add splatters with watered-down Distress Ink Peeled Paint
• wrap a piece of torn vellum around the panel
• add the squirrel, some leaves from the Lawn Fawn Acorn House die set and the heat-embossed sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Schokolade stamp set
• mat the panel with dark brown cardstock before adhering it to a cardbase

Watercolor Snowman

Hi there,

I created this sweet watercolor Christmas card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out the Karten-Kunst Randtexte Frohe Weihnachten from a panel of watercolor paper
• stamp the snowman and some stars from the Karten-Kunst Zaubersterne set with Versafine Clair Nocturne
• color the image with watercolors from the Frau von Bommel Boho Set
• add a strip of colored cardstock and of patterned paper to the left side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
