Quilt Background

Hi there,

I created this cute quilt background card using the Karten-Kunst Nyala Script Gutschein and the hexagon from the Karten-Kunst Small Frames die set:

• cut out a lot of hexagons from patterned paper using one of the dies from the Karten-Kunst Small Frames die set
• use a piece of cardstock to assemble the quilt pattern
• cut the quilt panel to size and adhere it to a kraft cardbase
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Nyala Script Gutschein from vellum and from kraft cardstock and adhere it as a sentiment

Christmas Wish

Hi there,

each year I chose a project that wishes you a very Merry Christmas. This time I created this clean and simple Christmas Card using the Anjas Basteltraum Adventsfuchs stamp set:

• stamp the Anjas Basteltraum Adventsfuchs with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Adventssprüche set with Versafine Clair Nocturne
• add strips of colored cardstock and of patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Merry little Christmas

Hi there,

I created this sweet infinity shaker card using the Gerda Steiner Designs Little Reindeer stamp set:

• stamp the Gerda Steiner Designs Little Reindeer with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Clair Nocturne
• wrap acetate around the panel and fill it with star-shaped sequins
• adhere the shaker panel to a cardbase colored with Distress Ink Peacock Feathers and splattered with water droplets and white gouache

The sentiment says it all: Have yourself a Merry little Christmas

Hi there,

I created this sweet Christmas Card using the fox couple from the Anjas Basteltraum Unter dem Mistelzweig stamp set:

• stamp the sweet fox couple from the Anjas Basteltraum Unter dem Mistelzweig set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background on violet cardstock with the help of Distress Ink (Dusty Concord, Black Soot), add some dry embossing with snowflake dies and splatters with Mica Spray Pearl and some watered-down white gouache
• cut out the letters "J" and "Y" three times from white cardstock using the Altenew Caps Bold die set
• add color to two of the letters with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• cut out the Joy! Crafts Icicles from one pair of the letters 
• adhere the layers on top of each other and add Nuvo Glitter Accents Fresh Snowfall to the icicles
• adhere the panel to a black cardbase

Gift Card Pocket

Hi there,

I created this Gift Card Pocket for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out the CUTplorations ATC/Gift Card Envelope from kraft cardstock
• stamp the Karten-Kunst Script Weihnachtsgedicht with Versamark and heat-emboss it with clear embossing powder
• add color to the Gift Card Pocket with Distress Ink (Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans)
• create a closing mechanism using two die cut circles, two mini brads and some twine
• cut out the 24 with the help of the Karten-Kunst Lucky Numbers set - once from silver foiled cardstock and once from white glitter paper
• adhere the number in the middle of the pocket
• embellish the envelope with the Karten-Kunst Mini Snowflake 2 also cut from white glitter paper
