Love You Clouds

Hi there,

I created this Love You Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut out some Karten-Kunst Clouds from white glitter paper
  • cut out one of the Karten-Kunst Stitched Rectangles DIN A6 from watercolor cardstock 
  • create a background using Distress Oxide Ink (Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac), white pigment ink and the Karten-Kunst Script Background
  • add some splatters with Milky Way White Shimmer Spray
  • cut out the sentiment using the Karten-Kunst Joy Alphabet
  • ink up the bottom part of the letters with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing powder

Joy Foxes

Hi there,

I created this sweet Christmas Card using the fox couple from the Anjas Basteltraum Unter dem Mistelzweig stamp set:

  • stamp the sweet fox couple from the Anjas Basteltraum Unter dem Mistelzweig set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • create a background on violet cardstock with the help of Distress Ink (Dusty Concord, Black Soot), add some dry embossing with snowflake dies and splatters with Mica Spray Pearl and some watered-down white gouache
  • cut out the letters "J" and "Y" three times from white cardstock using the Altenew Caps Bold die set
  • add color to two of the letters with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
  • cut out the Joy! Crafts Icicles from one pair of the letters 
  • adhere the layers on top of each other and add Nuvo Glitter Accents Fresh Snowfall to the icicles
  • adhere the panel to a black cardbase

Lass alle deine Wünsche wahr werden

Hi there,

I created this kraft-colored card using the new Karten-Kunst Riesige Beste Wünsche stamp set:

  • stamp a background using the Karten-Kunst Scribble Leaves with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves
  • stamp the Karten-Kunst Wünsche from the Riesige Beste Wünsche set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder and stamp over it slightly offset with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves for a drop-shadow effect
  • ink up the edges of the kraft panel with Distress Oxide Ink Ground Espresso
  • stamp the first and third part of the sentiment with Versamark onto a strip of brown cardstock and heat-emboss them with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • add a strip of golden glitter paper to the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
  • add some splatters with Heidi Swapp Color Shine Gold spray

Things with Wings - Forever Grateful

Hi there,

this is my fourth Things with Wings Special Feature Project Post for STAMPlorations:

  • stamp one of the butterflies from the STAMPlorations Grateful Flutters set with Lawn Fawn River Rock onto a piece of Strathmore toned grey cardstock
  • color the image with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers and add extra shading with Faber -Castell Polychromos pencils
  • stamp the sentiment from the same set with that same grey ink
  • stamp the dot pattern from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Midas Touch embossing powder
  • add shading around the edges of the panel with Distress Oxide Ink Pumice Stone
  • add two strips of foiled cardstock to the left and the right of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

  • create a background on an old gel print using white gesso, tissue paper, gel medium and  Alcohol Ink (Mushroom, Gunmetal)
  • apply Grit Paste through the ARTplorations Make Marks 5 stencil and let this dry thoroughly
  • cut out the birds from the For the Birds die set from woodgrain paper and shade the edges with Distress Ink Ground Espresso
  • dye a piece of cheesecloth with Distress Oxide Spray Spun Sugar 
  • add some splatters with Distress Spray Stain Tarnished Brass
  • use a sticker from the STAMPlorations Hey, Sunshine set as the sentiment

All the Love

Hi there,

it is time for another Stencil Challenge over on the STAMPlorations Blog:

  • start on a rectangular panel cut from watercolor paper
  • apply Prima Marketing Heavy Gesso through the ARTplorations Flowers 2 stencil
  • add color with watered-down Dina Wakley Heavy Body acrylic Paints (Heather, Mineral, Carnation)
  • grunge up the edges with Art Graf Watercolor Graphite
  • add some more texture by stamping the script from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Elements with Archival Ink Watering Can
  • dye a piece of cheesecloth with Distress Ink Spun Sugar and Heidi Swapp Color Shine Spray Tinsel
  • stamp the STAMPlorations Typografia Romantique All the Love with three different colors of Altenew Crisp Ink (Pink Diamond, Industrial Diamond, Lavender Fields) to match the background
  • adhere the sentiment panel with double-sided foam adhesive

  • cut out one of the CUTplorations Bloomdala Bliss Festive dies from black cardstock and cover the die cut with Prima Marketing Sweet Rose Wax
  • use hot glue to adhere burlap and sari silk ribbon underneath the die cut
  • add a sticker from the STAMPlorations New Day sticker set on top
  • thread some bast fibers through the hole of the tag

this is my second Things with with Wings Special Feature Project Post for STAMPlorations:

  • apply Distress Oxide Ink (black Soot) through the ARTplorations Pensive stencil
  • add rosy cheeks with a PITT Pastel Pencil
  • stamp the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Trendy Butterflies 2 set with Versafine Clair Nocturne
  • stamp one of the butterflies from the same set with Versamark onto a piece of vellum and heat-emboss it with Ranger Wild Plum embossing powder
  • add a dot pattern from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge set with Altenew Crisp Ink Razzleberry

  • create a background on a CUTplorations Luggage Tag with the help of Distress Oxide Inks (Tattered Rose, Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac)
  • stamp the sentiment from the STAMPlorations It's a Girl Thing: Sunshine with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
  • stamp some butterflies from the STAMPlorations Winged Things set with that same grey ink and heat-emboss them with WOW! Midas Touch embossing powder
  • add splatters with the Heidi Swapp Color Shine Spray Tinsel
  • thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

Things with Wings - Be amazing

Hi there,

this is my first Things with Wings Special Feature Project Post for STAMPlorations and I created these two tags for you:

  • cut out one of the CUTplorations Manila Tags from watercolor paper
  • apply Glitter Paint through the ARTplorations Lattice stencil
  • while this is drying stamp three butterflies and the beautiful rose from the STAMPlorations Brave One set with My Favorite Things Extreme Black Ink
  • color the images with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Marker and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
  • spray the tag with Heidi Swapp Color Shine Tinsel spray
  • dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Ink Dusty Concord and thread it through the hole of the tag

  • cut out a CUTplorations Manila Tag from watercolor paper
  • stamp the large cupcake from the STAMPlorations Happy Everything set
  • stamp the butterfly from the same set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Platinum embossing powder
  • color the image and the background with Derwent Inktense pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • add Nuvo Crystal Drops Gloss White to the sprinkles
  • the sentiment is from the STAMPlorations Hey Sunshine sticker set
  • dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Ink Spun Sugar and thread it through the hole of the tag

Hello Unikitty

Hi there,

the new Elizabeth Craft Designs Cat and Hats die sets allows you to create the most adorable Unikitty:


  • cut out all the elements necessary to create a Unikitty with the dies from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Cat and Hats die sets
  • add color with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers and add extra shading with Distress Ink
  • add Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard to the star and the horn
  • create a background on a stitched panel of watercolor paper using Glitter Spray, Nuvo Expanding Mousse and a star stencil
  • adhere the sentiment cut from purple glitter paper with the help of one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Words 2 Thinking of you dies

Beautiful Spring

Hi there,

we are starting a new TAGplorations Challenge over on the STAMPlorations Blog and this month it is All about Spring and the Optional Twist is Birds:

  • cut out a CUTplorations Manila Tag from watercolor paper
  • add some color with Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst (Tibetian Poppy Teal)
  • adhere some tissue tape at two random spots
  • color the edges with the graphite Stabilo All Pencil and activate it with water
  • add some additional color to the edges with a Distress Crayon (Peacock Feathers)
  • stamp one large bird from the STAMPlorations Trendy Birds 2 set with Versafine Clair (Nocturne)
  • stamp the music notes from the STAMPlorations Scribbly Splattery Grunge set with Archival Ink (Watering Can)
  • use Alphabet Stickers to form the sentiment and add a Rub-On on top
  • go over the raised areas of the letters with Prima Marketing Metallique Wax (Brushed Iron)
  • dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Ink (Hickory Smoke) and thread it through the hole of the tag

Warm Hands, Warm Hearts

Hi there,

we are starting a new TAGplorations Challenge over on the STAMPlorations Blog and this time it's all about Christmas and the optional twist is Glitter:

  • cut out one of the CUTplorations Manila Tags from watercolor cardstock
  • stamp the cup and the santa hat from the STAMPlorations Big Christmas Cups set and the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Warm Hands, Warm Hearts set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
  • color the image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens, Distress Markers and a damp watercolor brush
  • add some splatters with Mister Hueys Gold and dye a piece of torn seam binding with the leftover spray before threading it through the hole of the tag

Home is where the Heart is Reveal Wheel

Hi there,

I created this Fall Reveal Wheel Card for the Stamping-Fairies Facebook Group:

  • cut out all the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel elements from Gmund Beer Paper Weizen
  • cut out the Lawn Fawn Fall Leaf Add-on from the panel and add the frame cut from kraft cardstock
  • prepare the inside of the reveal wheel with four different fall colors of Distress Ink (Peeled Paint, Vintage Photo, Fired Brick, Rusty Hinge)
  • mist the wheel with gold spray for more texture and shine
  • stamp a little scene using stamps from the Lawn Fawn Happy Village and Village Shops stamp sets with Memento Rich Cocoa
  • color the images with Derwent Drawing pencils
  • embellish the little heart on the door with Nuvo Crystal Drops Red Berry
  • mount the panel onto a scalloped stitched rectangle before adhering it to an off-white cardbase

Happy Fall Bear

Hi there,

since I always like to stretch my supplies I turned the Elizabeth Craft Designs Polar Bear into a little brown bear:

  • cut out the Elizabeth Craft Designs Polar Bear from white Soft Finish Cardstock
  • color the pieces with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
  • add highlights with a white gel pen and a little smile with a black fineliner
  • let him sit on a strip of patterned paper from the ModaScrap Wood Effect 6x6 paper pad
  • create the sentiment with the help of a piece of watercolor paper, Distress Inks (Wild Honey, Peeled Paint, Frayed Burlap), Mister Huey's Spray Gold and the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blackboard Alphabet
  • add some golden splatters to a Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardbase as well
  • cut out some leaves from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Woodland Leaves die set from white Soft Finish Cardstock
  • add color with Alcohol Markers and PanPastel and shape the leaves with the help of the Susan's Garden Tool Set
  • tuck the leaves behind the adorable little bear
