Hugs Shaker

Hi there,

I created this adorable Birthday Shaker Card using the brand-new Anjas Basteltraum Paaarty set:

• stamp the mouse from the Anjas Basteltraum Paaarty set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black and color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• add shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a shaker background by cutting out one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Frame it - Stitched Circles from a panel of smooth white cardstock
• apply Distress Ink (Salvaged Patina, Kitsch Flamingo) through the Clearly Besotted Stamps Snow Day stencil
• create a shaker element with acetate and double-sided foam adhesive
• fill the shaker element with star sequins and close it with white cardstock
• wrap turquoise twine around the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
• cut out the Lawn Fawn Scripty Hugs from white cardstock and add color with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and shine with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter

I created this sweet Shaker Card using the Gerda Steiner Designs Cheerful Hedgehog stamp set:

• stamp one of the hedgehogs from the Gerda Steiner Designs Cheerful Hedgehog set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Onyx Black
• create a shaker element using a heart die, acetate and double-sided foam adhesive
• fill the shaker elements with confetti and clay hearts
• create a background for the shaker element with Distress Ink Stormy Sky and the My Favorite Things Micro Cloud Edges stencil 
• add strips of red cardstock to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

I created this sweet card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out the word Love using the Karten-Kunst Lucky Alphabet die set from a kraft cardbase
• cut the Love again from pink glitter paper
• puzzle the letters back into the panel
• add some splatters with watered-down white gouache
• cut some Karten-Kunst Mini Cool Hearts from patterned paper
• add some glitter to the hearts with Star Dust Stickles

on the next three Saturdays I would like to show you some creative Welcome Baby Cards that I created for the Karten-Kunst Blog. This is the third and last one:

• stamp seven bears from the Karten-Kunst Mini Frames Baby set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Riesiges Hallo with Versamark onto a strip of pink cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add a strip of purple cardstock and of patterned paper to the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

• stamp the sweet little bunny and some envelopes from the Anjas Basteltraum Happymail set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• create a shaker element with the help of a heart die, acetate, double-sided foam adhesive, some sequins and the envelopes
• embellish the cardfront with some patterned paper
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Post Sprüche with Versamark onto a strip of that same patterned paper and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

Celebrate Zen Birthday

Hi there,

it's time for another Wednesday - STAMPday feature here on my blog and today I created this Birthday Card for you:

• stamp the STAMPlorations Zen Birthday Background 2 with Versamark onto a piece of watercolor paper
• heat-emboss the image with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder
• add color by splattering the image with three different colors of Mijello Mission Gold watercolors - add some white splatters as well
• cut out the image and adhere it to a cardbase colored with a mixture of Distress Oxide Ink (Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers)
• cut out the CUTplorations Celebrate twice from white cardstock and layer one on top of the other
• heat-emboss the bottom of the sentiment with that same platinum embossing powder and add some color to the top with left-over grey and brown ink

I created this sweet Thank you Tag using the small rose and leaves from the Anjas Basteltraum Frühlingswiese/Spring Flowers set:

• cut out a Clearly Besotted Stamps Rounded Tag from watercolor paper
• stamp some roses and leaves from the Anjas Basteltraum Frühlingswiese/Spring Flowers set with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Bright Super Fine embossing powder
• color the background and the images with watered-down Distress Ink (Peeled Paint, Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Bundled Sage)
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine Set with  Versamark onto a strip of Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright Super Fine embossing powder
• layer a strip of pink cardstock underneath that sentiment strip 
• dye a piece of torn seam biding with Distress Ink Peeled Paint and thread it through the hole of the tag

I created this card using the Karten-Kunst Chrysanthemum stamp set and the Karten-Kunst Joy Alphabet die set:

• stamp the Karten-Kunst Chrysanthemum with Versamark onto a panel of smooth white cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Superfine embossing powder
• ink up the background with Distress Oxide Ink (Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Seedless Preserves)
• die cut "Danke" (thank you) from the colored panel and cut it four more times from kraft cardstock
• layer the kraft letters and the panel letters on top of each other into the opening to create this unique look
• add a strip of kraft cardstock to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to the cardbase
• add some sequins and Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard as final embellishments

• stamp the images from the Karten-Kunst Egg People set and from the Karten-Kunst Mini Frames Baby set with that same black ink
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils 
• add a strip of turquoise cardstock and of patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Vintage Easter Tag

Hi there,

I created this Vintage Easter Tag for Anjas Basteltraum:

• cut out a Clearly Besotted Stamps Scalloped Tag from watercolor paper
• stamp the beautiful tree from the Anjas Basteltraum Häschenschule set with Distress Ink Vintage Photo
• add color to the image by re-wetting the stamped lines and by adding a bit of Distress Ink Salvaged Patina
• dye a piece of torn seam binding with that same two inks and thread it through the hole of the tag
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Oster Sprüche set with Versafine Vintage Sepia

• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out a Clearly Besotted Stamps Rounded Tag from kraft cardstock and add a grass border
• embellish the tag with a ribbon bow
• create a backdrop using strips of colored and kraft cardstock
• finish the card with a patterned paper sentiment strip

• cut out the Karten-Kunst Mojito Osterei Frohe Ostern from one of the tags
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
• create a shaker element using acetate, double-sided foam adhesive and sequins
• cover the shaker element with a piece of kraft cardstock
• adhere the other tag in the back of the shaker
• thread three strands of twine through the hole of the tag

• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• embellish the card with patterned paper and the Karten-Kunst Curved Borders
• add some faux stitching with a grey fineliner
• adhere the panel to a kraft cardbase
