I created this Winter Scene Card using the adorable Anjas Basteltraum Rentierpost stamp set:
- stamp the reindeer and the carrots from the Anjas Basteltraum Rentierpost set set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
- color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
- cut out one of the Spellbinders Essential Arches from blue cardstock and partially emboss the panel with the Sizzix Winter Foliage embossing folder
- ink up the edges with Distress Ink Black Soot
- stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Weihnachtspost set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Silver embossing powder
- cut out another slightly larger Spellbinders Essential Arch from watercolor paper
- add color with Distress Ink (Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire)
- cut out four birch trees with the help of the Technique Tuesday Birch Borders and color them with alcohol markers
- add a hill to the bottom of the background and ink up the top edge with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass
- assemble the scene and splatter it with watered-down white gouache
- add the embossed frame and the focal images and your little winter scene is ready
