I created this Winter Scene Card using the adorable Anjas Basteltraum Rentierpost stamp set:

• stamp the reindeer and the carrots from the Anjas Basteltraum Rentierpost set set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out one of the Spellbinders Essential Arches from blue cardstock and partially emboss the panel with the Sizzix Winter Foliage embossing folder
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink Black Soot
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Weihnachtspost set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Silver embossing powder
• cut out another slightly larger Spellbinders Essential Arch from watercolor paper
• add color with Distress Ink (Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire)
• cut out four birch trees with the help of the Technique Tuesday Birch Borders and color them with alcohol markers
• add a hill to the bottom of the background and ink up the top edge with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass
• assemble the scene and splatter it with watered-down white gouache
• add the embossed frame and the focal images and your little winter scene is ready

I created this cute outdoor card for Elizabeth Craft Designs:

• stamp the adorable little bear from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Camping Out set with My Favorite Things Extreme Black and color the image with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
• add a highlight to the nose with a white gel pen
• cut out a square panel using one of the ModaScrap Dashing Squares
• create the background with the help of another stamp from the set, alcohol markers, stencils and Distress Ink (Bundled Sage, Tumbled Glass)
• use the ModaScrap Dashing Rectangles to cut a panel from patterned paper from the Maja Design Walking in the Forest 6x6 paper pad
• stamp the sentiment from the Technique Tuesday Perfectly Wonderful set on a strip cut from Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardstock with Versamark and heat-emboss it with platinum embossing powder

today, I am sharing the third part of my mini series "Focus on Naughty Puppies" for the Karten-Kunst Blog with you:

• stamp one of the puppies from Wee Stamps Naughty Puppies with Versafine Onyx Black on a watercolor panel and color the image with Faber-Castell Art Grip Aquarelle Pencils and a waterbrush
• stamp Technique Tuesday Grid with Versamark on a piece of watercolor paper and heat-emboss it with Sticky embossing powder; create a foiled finish using Therm-o-Web Deco Foil Pink Melon
• use a piece of actetate to create a smooshed background with Distress Inks (Worn Lipstick, Salty Ocean)
• stamp the sentiment from Mias's Stempelküche Alles zum Geburtstag with Versafine Onyx Black directly to the watercolor background panel
• add faux stitching around the image panel with a Distress Marker (Worn Lipstick)
• ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Worn Lipstick and a Mini Ink Blending Tool
• add Glossy Accents to the flower and the leaves on the cup

today, I would like to share this cute birthday card with you. I tried a new technique and I call it  Inktense Glitter Watercoloring. I love all that sparkle and shine, don't you?

• stamp the hummingbird, grasses and flowers from the Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens set with Versafine (Onyx Black) on watercolor paper
• fill Perfect Pearls Mist (Perfect Pearl) into a cheap waterbrush (it is important to use one without a valve beacuse the glitter is too big to get through that) or use a damp paint brush
• color the images using Derwent Inktense Pencils and the "Glitter Waterbrush"
• cut a panel from patterned paper from the Hello Sunshine 6x6 petite paper pack and stamp the stitched border from Technique Tuesday In Stitches with Versafine (Smokey Gray); cut a hill shape from the Lawn Fawn Let's Polka 6x6 petite paper pack
• add Pretty Pink Posh Sequins (4mm Metallic Silver)
• run a piece of light kraft cardstock though the Sizzix Texture Boutique using the Sizzix Dots embossing folder and ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Pumice Stone)
• stamp the sentiment from Avery Elle Written in the Stars with Versamark on a vellum strip and heat-emboss with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

today, I would like to show you the Easter card that I created as a Surprise Sweetie for Cupcake Inspirations. It is my pleasure to join this fantastic challenge as a guest designer.

• stamp the cute little chick from Create a Smile Eggstraordinary Egghunt with Versafine (Onyx Black) on patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Let's Polka 6x6 petite paper pack and add some dimension using Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it
• stamp the tiny dots from the same stamp set with Colorbox Pigment Ink (Pink) on its belly and add a flower sequin from the Pretty Pink Posh Springtime Mix
• cut out an egg shape from a piece of white cardstock, stamp the sentiment from Mias Stempelküche 365 (Frohe Ostern means Happy Easter) with Versafine (Onyx Black) in the bottom right corner and add faux stitching with a Distress Marker (Worn Lipstick)
• cover the egg shape with acetate and surround it with foam tape; fill the shaker with Pretty Pink Posh Sequins (4mm Pink Peonies and 4mm Lemon Meringue) and transparent seed beads; cover the shaker with another piece of acetate
• stamp the medium dots from Technique Tuesday Lots of Dots with Versafine (Onyx Black) on the right edge of a white cardbase and little flowers from Lawn Fawn Penelope's Blossoms with Versacraft (Lemon Yellow) and Colorbox Pigment Ink (Pink) as a background for the egg shaker

• color the mason jar with Fresco Acrylic Paints (Turquoise, Dusty Teal, Chalk) and the Flowers with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it
• stamp the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Stamps Sweet Little Sentiments with Versafine (Onyx Black) and heat-emboss with Sternenstaub Clear embossing powder
• tie a bow around the card using Doodlebug Twine Bright Assortment

today, I would like to show you this Birthday card that I created for a boy who is turning 8 this Friday. I used one of Gerda Steiner's brand new, adorable images:

• color the sweet little Gerda Steiner Designs Dachshund in Love with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it; cover the balloon with Glossy Accents for extra shine and dimension
• mask the dog with Eclipse Tape and use the Hero Arts Cloudy Stencil and Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass) to create the background
• use patterned paper from the Doodlebug Design Sweet Shoppe 6x6 paper pad to create the Polaroid frame and the layers behind
• stamp the sentiment from Whiff of Joy Für Dich with Versafine (Onyx Black) directly onto the Polaroid frame
• stamp the largest dots from Technique Tuesday Lots of Dots with Avery Elle Silver Fox on a white cardbase
• assemble all the layers using foam tape
• I used my new daylight lamp to take the picture and you can really see a difference, don't you think?

this is my first card for the Colour me ...! Challenge.

Each week we will have a creative colour challenge for you to get crafty and show us your best greeting cards, 3D projects, scrapbooking, digital or traditional paper crafts, costumes, etc. Only the colours we indicate may be used for your project. Neutrals such as black, grey, white, vanilla, skin colours and kraft are also welcome.

This week we are using Perfect Plum ... have fun!

• stamp dots from Technique Tuesday Lots of Dots with Avery Elle Silver Fox on a white cardstock panel  - I used the Fiskars Compact Stamp Press to get good alignment 
• cut out a star from sturdy white cardstock, stamp PSX K-3237 with Versamark and heat-emboss with platinum embossing powder
• color the star using a sponge dauber and Memento Luxe (Sweet Plum) - cover the edges with Distress Ink (Dusty Concord)
• stamp the sentiment from Hero Arts Happy Winter Occasions with Versamark on a strip of vellum and heat-emboss with the same embossing powder
• wrap the sentiment around the card panel and adhere it to a white card base - color the top and bottom edge with Memento Luxe (Sweet Plum) to match the star

• stamp snowflakes from Lawn Fawn Winter in the Park with Versamark and heat-emboss with WOW! White Puff Ultra High embossing powder
• color Gerda Steiner Designs Owl wish you a Merry Christmas with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor and Zest-it
• use Wink of Stella Clear and White Glitter on the cap, Wink of Stella Clear Glitter and Glossy Accents on the baubles and Gelly Roll Stardust Clear on the snow on the branch
• tie a bow around the panel with Hemptique Hemp Cord White
• use kraft cardstock as a base and stamp the border with Versamark using Technique Tuesday In Stitches and heat-emboss with WOW! Metallic Silver embossing powder
• stamp the sentiment and three single snowflakes from Create a Smile Schöne Bescherung with Versamark and heat-emboss with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

Hi there,

today, I have got another card that I would like to show you. I wanted to create my own Argyle background for a while now and here is the result. It took me some time but it was totally worth it - don't you think?

• use dark kraft cardstock as a cardbase
• start stamping the smallest diamond from Avery Elle Rounded Diamonds with Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Orange Soda, Tide Pool) on Neenah Desert Storm light kraft cardstock
• stamp a stitched line from Technique Tuesday In Stitches over this background with Ranger Adirondack Dye Ink (Latte) in order to create an Argyle pattern
• stamp hello from Avery Elle Modern Leaves with Versamark on dark kraft cardstock and heat-emboss with Zing! Chestnut embossing powder
• add faux stitching around the banner using Memento Dual Marker (Rich Cocoa)
• adhere banner using foam tape and add three sequins from Doodlebug Design (Tangerine, Swimming Pool) as a final touch

Hi,

this is my second card for today. I created it for the AEI♥U Challenge #2: Embellishments.

I used a cute little self-made tissue wrap envelope with an embossed sentiment, faux stitching, multi-color embossed dots and sequins as my embellishments for this card. To give the envelope some color I used my Shadow Inks as you normally would use your Distress Inks: I put some on my craft sheet, added a bit of water and put the envelope in - subtle but a perfect match to the colors that I already used.
