• create a scene using the Lawn Fawn Simply Celebrate Hangouts, the Lawn Fawn Simply Celebrate Critters, the Lawn Fawn Simply Celebrate More Critters and the Lawn Fawn Long Distance Hugs stamp sets and My Favorite Things Extreme Black Ink
• color the image and the background with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• use the Sizzix Tim Holtz Brickwork embossing folder on a piece of kraft cardstock, ink up the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain and add some brown splatters

I created this sweet Christmas Card for Mennys Bastelshop using the My Favorite Things Gnome for the Holidays stamp set:

• stamp the cute little house from the My Favorite Things Gnome for the Holidays set with Distress Oxide Ink Lost Shadow onto a piece of watercolor paper
• color the image and the background with Frau von Bommel watercolors
• add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background from colored cardstock with the help of the Sizzix Tim Holtz Simple Plaid die set
• add the sentiment cut using the Spellbinders Tinsel Time Sentiments die set, vellum and glitter paper

• create a background using kraft cardstock, the Sizzix Pine Needles embossing folder, a brayer, white pigment ink, Distress Ink Forest Moss and splatters of white gouache
• stamp the skiing fox from the Anjas Basteltraum Winter Wanderlust set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out a Lawn Fawn Fancy Wavy Banner from kraft cardstock
• stamp the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Winter Wavy Sayings set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

I created this Winter Card using the Anjas Basteltraum Frostige Schneeballschlacht stamp set:

• stamp the fox, the birds and the snowballs from the Anjas Basteltraum Frostige Schneeballschlacht set with Lawn Fawn River Rock
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background using elements from the Sizzix Forever Journal Essentials, the Sizzix Bird Song set, the Spellbinders Holiday Blooms set, Distress Ink (Antique Linen, Ground Espresso), Distress Oxide Ink (Antique Linen, Ground Espresso), Versafine Clair Sand Dune and colored cardstock
• arrange all the elements and put them onto a woodgrain background splattered with watered-down white gouache

• stamp one of the Karten-Kunst Penguins with Lawn Fawn Jet Black onto a Karten-Kunst 1/4 Inch Scalloped Circle cut from smooth white cardstock
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• add a slightly larger circle cut from lime colored cardstock
• create a background using dark blue cardstock, the Sizzix Winter Foliage embossing folder, white pigment ink around the edges and WOW! Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing glitter
• add a turquoise strip to the middle section heat-embossed with the Karten-Kunst Borders stamps, Versamark and WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

• cut out four panels using the Tim Holtz Stacked Tiles Rectangles die set from watercolor paper
• stamp the ice cream from the Lawn Fawn Sweetest Flavor set on all four panels with Distress Oxide Ink Lost Shadow
• color the images and the backgrounds of the panels with watercolors
• adhere the panels to a kraft cardbase
• add splatters with watered-down white gouache
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• stamp the sentiment with Versamark onto a strip of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

Hi there,

I created this cute watercolor Tag Card using the Anjas Basteltraum Hüttenlandschaft and Kleine Sprüche Blumengruß stamp sets:

• cut out the Clearly Besotted Stamps Rounded Tag from Hahnemühle Expression watercolor paper
• stamp the little cottage and the mountain range from the Anjas Basteltraum Hüttenlandschaft with Distress Ink Antique Linen - use the Masking Technique
• color the scene with watercolors
• cut out another tag from dark red cardstock and layer it behind the watercolor tag
• thread two strands of twine through the holes of the tags
• create a background using kraft cardstock, the Tim Holtz Tree Rings embossing folder and Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Blumengruß with Versamark and heat-emboss it with Opaque Seafoam White Super Fine embossing powder

I created this cute Christmas Card using one of the dogs from the Gerda Steiner Designs Christmas Puppies stamp set:

• stamp one of the adorable little dogs and the bone from the Gerda Steiner Designs Christmas Puppies set and the speech bubble from the Lawn Fawn Happy Hugs set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Dusty Concord
• add a layer of dark kraft cardstock underneath
• emboss a panel of Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock with the Sizzix Winter Foliage embossing folder, ink up the edges with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs before adhering all those layers to a cardbase

I created this Winter Scene Card using the adorable Anjas Basteltraum Rentierpost stamp set:

• stamp the reindeer and the carrots from the Anjas Basteltraum Rentierpost set set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out one of the Spellbinders Essential Arches from blue cardstock and partially emboss the panel with the Sizzix Winter Foliage embossing folder
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink Black Soot
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Weihnachtspost set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Silver embossing powder
• cut out another slightly larger Spellbinders Essential Arch from watercolor paper
• add color with Distress Ink (Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire)
• cut out four birch trees with the help of the Technique Tuesday Birch Borders and color them with alcohol markers
• add a hill to the bottom of the background and ink up the top edge with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass
• assemble the scene and splatter it with watered-down white gouache
• add the embossed frame and the focal images and your little winter scene is ready

I created this sweet little tag for Anjas Basteltraum:

• cut out a tag from smooth white cardstock using one of the dies from the Sizzix Tag Collection 
• stamp the fox from the Anjas Basteltraum Happymail set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• add some details with a white gel pen
• ink up the edges of the tag with Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire
• add some patterned paper to the top and bottom of the tag
• dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Ink Speckled Egg and thread it through the hole of the tag

Dinosaurs

Hi there,

I would like to show you this adorable dinosaur scene which was inspired by a card made by Yainea:

• stamp some images from the Lawn Fawn Rawrsome and the Lawn Fawn Critters from the Past sets with Memento Tuxedo Black
• color the images with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers and add extra shading with Prismacolor Colored Pencils
• add some Nuvo Glitter Drops Yellow Bird to the dots on both dinosaurs
• create a background on a panel of watercolor paper using Distress Oxide Inks (Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, Chipped Saphire) and add dark blue and perfect pearl splatters for more texture
• color a piece of watercolor paper with different shades of green and cut some leaves and a grass border using dies from the Tim Holtz Garden Greens and the Elizabeth Craft Designs Tree die sets
• add a stitched frame around the scene before adhering it to a cardbase

• color the Gerda Steiner Designs Birthday Bear with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a damp watercolor brush
• add Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the candle and the icing on the cake
• stamp the sentiment from the Altenew Label Love with Versafine Onyx Black
• apply Distress Oxide Ink (Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade) through the Clearly Besotted Stamps Heart Confetti stencil onto a stitched panel with Blending Brushes
• prepare a piece of cardstock with Versamark and WOW! Silver Bells embossing powder and cut out three hearts with the help of the Sizzix Magical Unicorn die set
• adhere the panel to a yellow cardbase

I fell in love with the unicorns from the Uniquely Creative Stay Unique stamp set and that is why I created another card using them for the Stamping-Fairies Facebook Group:

• stamp two of the the adorable unicorns from the Uniquely Creative Stay Unique set with Versafine Onyx Black
• color the images with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
• add some sparkle with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter and some dimension to the horns with Nuvo Crystal Drops Gold Coast
• cut out some rainbows and clouds from glitter cardstock using dies from the Sizzix Magical Unicorn set
• cut out a stitched panel and a cloud border from smooth white cardstock and add color with Distress Oxide Inks (Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Milled Lavender) and a Blending Brush
• apply Distress Oxide Ink Picked Raspberry on top off that background through a heart stencil
• stamp the first and second part of the sentiment from that same stamp set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
• adhere all the layers to a white cardbase
• add some Little Things from Lucy's Cards Itty Bitty Stars in Matt Silver

connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2nd Sunday of the month and this is our 48th transatlantic get-together!

Our requirement for this meet-up was:
"Unicorns and Rainbows"

• stamp one of the unicorns from the Klartext Einhorn set with My Favorite Things Extreme Black and color the image with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic markers
• add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• add some glitter with Wink of Stella clear glitter
• create a cardbase with the help of the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel die set, patterned paper from the My Favorite Things Itsy Bitsy Polka Dots Pastels 6x6 paper pad, the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Sentiments set, Versafine Onyx Black, white cardstock, kraft cardstock, pink cardstock and a tiny brad
• add a cloud cut with one of the Mama Elephant Landscape Trio dies, covered with Versamark and heat-embossed with WOW! White Puff Twinkle embossing powder and a rainbow cut from four different colors of glitter paper using the rainbow die from the Sizzix Magical Unicorn set
