Happy Fall Wreath

Hi there,

I created this sweet Fall Card for Menny's Bastelshop and this week our inspirational topic is "Wreaths/Kränze":

• stamp one of the foxes, the wreath and some mushrooms from the Gerda Steiner Designs Foxes set with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out "Happy Fall" from kraft cardstock using the Lil' Inker Designs Mixed & Stitched Alphabet and ink up the bottom portion with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
• run a panel of grass cardstock through your Big Shot in an embossing folder and ink it up with that same brown Distress Ink used on the letters
• add strips of gold glitter paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Hi there,

I created this lucky watercolor card for Anjas Basteltraum:

• stamp the four-leaf clover from the Anjas Basteltraum Glückwünsche set several times onto a watercolor panel using VersaMagic Sahara Sand
• color the images with watercolors
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with white pigment ink onto a strip of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Peeled Paint
• mat the watercolor panel onto some kraft cardstock
• run the cardbase through your Big Shot in an embossing folder

I tried something new today: Distress Inks on Photo Paper. I got the idea from a YouTube Short by Ranger. So I created this rusty, vintage card for the Karten-Kunst Blog.

• add color to a panel of photo paper with Distress Ink (Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo) using a brayer
• run the panel through your Big Shot in an embossing folder
• add Distress Ink Walnut Stain to the raised areas
• add some Distress Oxide Spray Salvaged Patina
• use the Karten-Kunst Card Designer A6 die set to cut the panel apart
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Weise Worte für Freunde with white pigment ink and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Salvaged Patina
• cut the Karten-Kunst Carissa Bloom from dark brown cardstock and add it to the layout
• add some splatters with the Distress Oxide Spray Salvaged Patina

• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos and highlights with a white gel pen
• add a hole enforcer from kraft cardstock and strings of lilac and natural twine
• cut out the My Favorite Things Washi Tape dies from patterned paper
• run lavender cardstock through your Big Shot in the Spellbinders Flower Frenzy embossing folder
• ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Dusty Concord

Hi there,

I created this lovely Christmas Card for Mennys Bastelshop:

• stamp the sweet bear couple from the Mama Elephant Fuzzy Hugs set with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf Ink
• color the image with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• cut out a heart from patterned paper and a slightly bigger one from red textured cardstock
• cut out a panel from kraft cardstock using one of the Tattered Lace Torn Edge Rectangles and create a background with small stamps from the Lawn Fawn Deck the Halls set
• add splatters with golden spray
• run another kraft panel through your Big Shot together with a woodgrain embossing folder - mist the panel slightly with water to avoid cracking
• stamp the sentiment from the Memory Box Merry little Christmas with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• adhere all the layers to a kraft cardbase

• run a Neenah Desert Storm kraft card panel through your Big Shot in the Spellbinders Holly & Foliage embossing folder
• ink up the edges of that panel with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• cut out the outline of the Karten-Kunst Das rockt Wintergrüße die set from corrugated cardboard and the sentiment from DIY striped cardstock
• add some sequins as final embellishments

• create a scene using stamps from the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachtsmänner set and  Gina K. Designs Obsidian - use the masking technique
• color the images and the background with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out a mat using the Sunny Studio Stamps Mini Mat & Tag 3 from gold foiled cardstock
• run kraft cardstock through your Big Shot in a woodgrain embossing folder and ink up the edges of that panel with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
• use Liquid Applique for the snow and the trimmings on Santa's Coat

• mask the image and add color to the background with the help of Distress Oxide Ink Salvaged Patina
• add water droplets and sparkly splatters for more texture
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Onyx Black
• add balls of wool cut from colored cardstock using one of the dies from the Lawn Fawn Tiny Gift Box Cat Add-On set
• cut out a stitched panel from white cardstock and run it through your Big Shot in an embossing folder
• add all the layers to a white card base

• stamp one of the Karten-Kunst Scribble Roses with Memento Tuxedo Black
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• run a piece of turquoise cardstock through your Big Shot in a woodgrain embossing folder
• add Distress Stain Brushed Pewter splatters to that background
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Ash Leaf from vellum and its outline from silver glitter paper
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 3 set with Versamark onto a strip of black cardstock and heat-emboss it with silver embossing powder
• add a strip of black cardstock to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Things with Wings - Relax Butterfly

Hi there,

this is my third Things with Wings Special Feature Project Post for STAMPlorations:

• stamp some texture onto a square piece of cardstock using elements from the STAMPlorations Scribbly Splattery Grunge set with Distress Oxide Ink (Scattered Straw, Broken China) and Archival Ink Watering Can 
• ink up the edges with Distress Oxide Ink Seedless Preserves and apply that same color through the ARTplorations Rag Rug stencil
• cut out the CUTplorations relax four times and glue the letters on top of each other - cover each letter with Nuvo Crystal Glaze
• cut out the circle from the STAMPlorations Coffee Petites set from the center of the square and add burlap behind the opening
• cut out the solid CUTplorations Flutter Zen 1 butterfly from black cardstock and run it through your Big Shot with an embossing folder
• adhere the butterfly on top of some natural twine

• cut out the CUTplorations Butterfly Cover Plate from smooth white cardstock
• create a rainbow background using Distress Oxide Inks (Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet)
• add more texture with some water droplets
• glue the cover plate on top of the background before adhering all the layers to a cardbase
• stamp the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Trendy Butterflies 2 set with Versafine Onyx Black

• cut out a stitched rectangle from smooth white cardstock
• stamp one of the adorable pandas, the hearts and the sentiment from the Gerda Steiner Designs Lovely Pandas set with Memento Tuxedo Black - use the masking technique
• color the image with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers - add extra shading with Prismacolor Colored Pencils
• add Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the heart on the envelope and the nose of the panda
• run a cardbase through your Big Shot in a Plaid embossing folder before adhering the panel to this cardbase

• create a frame with the help of the My Favorite Things Stitched Square Scallop Frame STAX, the My Favorite Things Stitched Mini Scallop Square STAX and patterned paper from the Avery Elle The Sorbet Collection 6x6 paper pad
• cut out a stitched panel from Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock and run it through your Big Shot with a heart embossing folder
• create the word "Einladung" (invitation) with a label maker
• adhere all the layers to an off-white cardbase
• add some Little Things from Lucy's Cards Itty Bitty Stars in Matt Silver
