Memorydex Lighthouse

Hi there,

here is another Memorydex Card Set that I created with my daughter Emily for Mennys Bastelshop. Our inspiration this time was Christy's wonderful video.

• stamp several critters and backgrounds elements from the following Lawn Fawn sets with Gina K. Designs Obsidian: It's a Bird, Life is Good, You are Sublime, Butterfly Kisses, Mermaid for You
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background using the My Favorite Things Cloud stencil and Distress Ink Speckled Egg
• cut out some waves and sand dunes from colored cardstock
• assemble the Memorydex Card to your liking

Encouragement Flowers

Hi there,

I created this calming watercolor card for the Karten-Kunst Blog using the new Karten-Kunst Cute Flower die:

• create a background on a watercolor panel using watered-down Distress Inks (Milled Lavender, Iced Spruce, Weathered Wood)
• color some more paper with watercolors and cut out three Karten-Kunst Cute Flowers
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 2 set with Versamark onto a strip a dark grey cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine Embossing powder
• adhere the panel to a dark grey cardbase and add faux stitching with a white gel pen

Memorydex Dinosaurs

Hi there,

this week and next week I would like to show you some Memorydex Cards that I created with my daughter Emily for Mennys Bastelshop using several Lawn Fawn stamp sets. We got inspired by Marine's wonderful You Tube Video. 

• stamp several critters and background elements from the following Lawn Fawn sets with Gina K. Designs Obsidian: It's a Bird, Critters from the Past, Rawrsome
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background using the My Favorite Things Cloud stencil and Distress Ink Speckled Egg
• cut out some Lawn Fawn Grass Borders from colored cardstock
• assemble the Memorydex Card to your liking

Rainbow Caterpillar

Hi there,

I created this colorful flower card for Anjas Basteltraum using the Anjas Basteltraum Blumengrüße and the Anjas Basteltraum Frühlingswiese stamp sets:

• cut out a Pinkfresh Studio Folk Edge Rectangle from smooth white cardstock
• stamp some flowers from the Anjas Basteltraum Blumengrüße set and the caterpillar from the Anjas Basteltraum Frühlingswiese set with Gina K. Obsidian
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Blumengruß set with Versamark onto a strip of pink cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• adhere everything to a pink cardbase

Vroom, Vroom - Part 2

Hi there,

here is another card for Mennys Bastelshop using the adorable Mama Elephant We Ride stamp set:

• stamp the bunny and the bear from the Mama Elephant We Ride set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background using the My Favorite Things Clouds stencil and Distress Ink (Spun Sugar, Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac)
• cut out rounded rectangles from that background
• stamp the sentiment from the same set several times with Versamark onto a strip of colored cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• create a background with patterned paper and colored cardstock and add little silver stars as final embellishments

Delft Pottery

Hi there,

inspired by Delft Pottery I created this card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• stamp one of the Karten-Kunst Delicate Plants with Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire onto a piece of watercolor paper
• color the image with watercolors and add some splatters
• rough up the edges of the watercolor panel and adhere it to a dark blue background with embossed polka dots
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine with Versamark onto a strip of dark blue cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

You are Magical

Hi there,

it's time for the Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this week our topic is "Regenbogen/Rainbow". I used the Paperie Ink Magical Unicorn stamp set on my project:

• stamp one of the unicorns from the Paperie Ink Magical Unicorn set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• add some sparkle with a Stardust gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid
• create a background using the Clearly Besotted Stamps Splat it stencil and leftover ink on your Blending Brushes
• use an Action Wobbler to adhere the unicorn to the panel
• add strips of patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Just for You Strawberry Fox

I created this sweet card together with my daughter Emily for Anjas Basteltraum using the Anjas Basteltraum Erdbeerernte stamp set:

• stamp the sweet fox and the strawberry basket from the Anjas Basteltraum Erdbeerernte set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out an Avery Elle Wonky Scallopped Frame from woodgrain paper
• create a background using grass cardstock and the Honeybee Stamps Eyelet Lace 3D embossing folder and die set before adhering all the layers to a kraft cardbase
• add a sentiment stamped with Versamark and heat-embossed with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

Just for You Alcohol Ink Tag

Hi there,

I created this Alcohol Ink Tag for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a tag from Lanavanguard
• create a background with Alcohol Inks (Willow, Botanical, Everglades)
• cut out one of the Karten-Kunst Scribble Leaves from champagne foiled cardstock
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 2 set with Versamark on a strip of dark green cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Platinum Super Fine embossing powder
• thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag and tie one of them into a little bow

Vroom, Vroom - Part 1

Hi there,

I created this fun masculine card for Mennys Bastelshop using the Mama Elephant We Ride stamp set:

• stamp one of the adorable images from the Mama Elephant We Ride set with no-line coloring ink onto a panel of watercolor paper cut with one of the Tattered Lace Torn Edge Rectangles
• color the image and the background with Derwent Inktense pencils and a waterbrush
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• cut another panel and ink up all the edges with Distress Ink Pumice Stone
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Distress Oxide Ink Pumice Stone
• add My Favorite Things Scribbles and Poppy Stamps Stitched Buttons cut from blue and grey colored cardstock as final embellishments - sew the buttons on with some thread
