Happy Birthday Fox Tag

Hi there,

I created this sweet Birthday Tag for Mennys Bastelshop using the Lawn Fawn Build-a-Fox and the Lawn Fawn Build-a-Critter Spring Accessories die sets:

• cut out a tag from grass cardstock using the Sunny Studio Stamps Mini Mat and Tag 3 die set
• cut out the Fox and its sweet little dress using the Lawn Fawn Build-a-Fox, the Lawn Fawn Build-a-Critter Spring Accessories die sets and colored cardstock
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink and add highlights with a white gel pen
• add a sentiment banner using the Clearly Besotted Stamps Tiny Type set and Brilliance Pearlescent Ivy
• add a little yellow flower around the hole and thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

• cut out two banners using the Mama Elephant Docket Lil Banners - one from colored cardstock and one from patterned paper
• stamp one of the bunnies from the Mama Elephant Lil Birthday Docket set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the image with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Brilliance Thyme onto a strip of colored cardstock and ink up the edges with Distress Ink Peeled Paint 
• create a background using kraft cardstock, the Pinkfresh Studio Hexagon Tile Cover Plate and splatters of watered-down Distress Paint

• stamp the mice and the kite from the Lawn Fawn Whoosh, Kites! set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• add a string of silver thread between the mice and the kite
• create a background using colored cardstock, the Lawn Fawn Grassy Border, the Lawn Fawn Meadow Borders, the Lawn Fawn Stitched Tree Borders, the My Favorite Things Rolling Clouds stencil, the dies from the Lawn Fawn Butterfly Kisses set, Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass, Bundled Sage, Gathered Twigs)
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Brilliance Pearlescent Thyme

it's time for the Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this week our topic is "Regenbogen/Rainbow". I used the Paperie Ink Magical Unicorn stamp set on my project:

• stamp one of the unicorns from the Paperie Ink Magical Unicorn set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• add some sparkle with a Stardust gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid
• create a background using the Clearly Besotted Stamps Splat it stencil and leftover ink on your Blending Brushes
• use an Action Wobbler to adhere the unicorn to the panel
• add strips of patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Toucan do it!

Hi there,

I created this colorful Card for Mennys Bastelshop using the Lawn Fawn Toucan do it stamp set. For my scene I got inspired by Audrey's Card from the Toucan do it Inspiration Post which was published in Summer 2021:

• stamp the toucans, the butterflies and the branches from the Lawn Fawn Toucan do it set set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out the Lawn Fawn Tropical Vine Borders and some extra leaves from green cardstock and some Lawn Fawn Tropical Leaves from vellum
• add color to a masked off portion of the background with Distress Ink (Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness)
• arrange the scene
• stamp the sentiment from the same set on a sentiment strip using Brilliance Thyme

• create a sentiment circle with the help of the Karten-Kunst Circulus8, the Karten-Kunst Circulus Runde Weihnachtssprüche stamp set, the Karten-Kunst Abstrakte Tannen stamp set, Lawn Fawn Jet Black and Brilliance Pearlescent Crimson
• stamp one of the Karten-Kunst Scribble Ornaments inside the circle and color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• add some details with the Molotow Liquid Chrome pen

• create a background with the help of the My Favorite Things Wonky Stitched Rectangles, the Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine set and Brilliance Sunflower Yellow
• add five glittery yellow hearts cut using the Create a Smile Hearts die set

• stamp the flower from the Lawn Fawn Flutter by stamp set with embossing ink, mask it and add a leaf from the same stamp set on both sides
• color the flower with PITT Pastel Pencils 
• add dots with a silver PITT Artist Pen and a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from Karten-Kunst Jahreszeiten with purple pigment ink
• dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Ink - Shaded Lilac and thread it through the hole of the tag

we are starting a new Color Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations:

• stamp the chick using the Stampendous Spring Short Stack stamp set combined with the masking technique
• color the image with Delta and Touch Twin Markers
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out a frame from the image panel with the help of the My Favorite Things Stitched Square Scallop Frames
• cut out three more frames using the same die
• glue all the frames on top of each other and add a square of acetate before adhering the top colored frame
• add clear glitter to the shaker element and close it with the colored panel mounted to a fitting backpanel
• stamp the sentiment from the Lili of the Valley Handwritten Phrases with Brilliance (Pearlescent Sky Blue)
• add some Little Things from Lucy's Cards Sequins (Sparkling Rainbow)

• stamp the STAMPlorations PartyGirl with Versafine (Smokey Gray) onto a piece of patterned paper from the Buff paper pad and the dress onto a piece from the Maja Design Summer Crush 6x6 paper pad
• color the image with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a damp brush
• apply golden embossing paste through the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil (Dot Fade) and Distress Ink (Dusty Concord) through the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil (Scribbles) - ink up the edges of the panel with the same Distress Ink and apply clear embossing powder over the top
• add white splatters with watered down Brilliance Pigment Ink (Moonlight White)
• glue down the girl
• cut out "Dance" from  Balsa Wood using the Rayher Connected Alphabet Capital and Lowercase and cover the letters with Wink of Stella Silver Glitter

• color a piece of watercolor paper with Distress Ink (Shaded Lilac) and cut out the Memory Box Floral Heart; color the little flowers with Distress Ink (Dusty Concors) and puzzle them back in
• stamp the sentiment from the Avery Elle Storybook stamp set with Brilliance (Pearlescent Lavender) 
• add one 6mm and two 4mm Pretty Pink Posh Sequins (Sparkling Clear)
• round the bottom corners with a 1'' corner rounder

it is time for a fun new Theme Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations:

• cut out two stitched rectangles using the Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers - one from white and one from green cardstock
• cut a hillshape from the green panel with the help of the My Favorite Things Stitched Snow Drifts
• stamp a bamboo background using a stamp from the My Favorite Things Happy Pandas set and Brilliance (Pearlescent Thyme and Pearlescent Ivy)
• stamp one of the pandas from the same stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black) - I used my DIY stamp press to stamp it twice and get a very crisp impression
• add some shading to the image with PITT Pastel Pencils
• cut out two banners with a die from the My Favorite Things Tag Builder Blueprints 4 - one from green cardstock and one from patterned paper from the Pebbles Front Porch 6x6 paper pad
• stamp the sentiment from the Mama Elephant Lunar Extras stamp set onto the green banner with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• mat the panel onto a piece of black cardstock

Hi there,

since it is the first Sunday of the month, it is time for the STAMPlorations Stencil Sunday and the start of a new Mixed Media Challenge:

• cover a piece of watercolor paper with Tissue Wrap (Melange) using Soft Matte Gel
• cut out a tag with the help of the My Favorite Things Stitched Traditional Tag STAX
• cover the whole tag with white gesso
• create a background using Distress Paints (Ripe Persimmon, Dried Marigold, Mustard Seed)
• dye Texture Paste with Color Bursts (Sepia) and apply it through the ARTplorations Flourishes stencil 
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Ground Espresso)
• stamp the STAMPlorations Happy Sunflower Large with Brilliance (Pearlescent Chocolate) and cover the whole tag with clear embossing powder - this will stick to the sunflower and to parts of the Distress Ink around the edges for more texture
• color the sunflower with Distress Paints (Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed)
• add tiny dots to the center of the sunflower with a white gel pen and a dark sepia PITT Artist Pen
• add the sentiment using a sticker from the Small Talk Occasions set
