Deck of Cards - Set 2

Hi there,

over the next few weeks I would like to show you a project that I created for Mennys Bastelshop together with my so very talented daughter Emily. It was a gift for my son - a deck of cards. I used the Mama Elephant Artist Trading Card die set on each of them combined with different stamp sets from Mama Elephant and Lawn Fawn. Every week I will show you four cards. Let's continue.

• cut out the Mama Elephant Artist Trading Cards from smooth white cardstock
• add color with Distress Oxide Inks
• stamp images from the Mama Elephant Magical Wizards, the My Favorite Things Magical Dragons, the My Favorite Things Magical Friends and the Mama Elephant Dragon Wishes sets
• color the images with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• assemble the cards

Wanderlust Wayside Collage Paper Pack

Hi there,

today I am using the new Wanderlust Wayside collage paper pack, one of 9 brand-new packs in the STAMPlorations Anthology collection:

• adhere one of the STAMPlorations Collage Papers from the Wanderlust Wayside set to a cardbase
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• add some texture using the dot pattern from the STAMPlorations Scribbly Splattery Grunge set and Distress Oxide Ink Tattered Rose
• add some CUTplorations Dragonflies cut from colored cardstock
• add the sentiment from the Hey Sunshine Clear Sticker set

• cut out the Crealies Postage Frame Odette from one of the STAMPlorations Collage Papers from the Wanderlust Wayside set
• use some white acrylic paint and Distress Ink Walnut Stain to give it a worn look
• stamp some texture with Distress Oxide Ink Walnut Stain using stamps from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge and Art Marks sets and from the Waffle Flower Postage Collage set 
• cut out the CUTplorations Relax from woodgrain paper and ink up the bottom of each letter with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• layer the postage stamps on a kraft panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Vintage Tulips

Hi there,

I created this Vintage Tulip Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• create your own stencil using the Karten-Kunst 1/8 Circles die set
• apply Distress Ink (Walnut Stain, Tattered Rose, Fired Brick, Uncharted Mariner) through the stencil
• stamp the Karten-Kunst Scribble Tulips with Versafine Clair Portobello
• add some color using a PITT Pastel pencil
• add some texture with the help of the Karten-Kunst Script Background and Distress Oxide Ink Walnut Stain
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine set with Versafine Clair Portobello

Circle Birthday

Hi there,

I created this Birthday Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out some Karten-Kunst 1/8 Inch Circles from colored cardstock
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Schriftzug-Set Zum Geburtstag with Versamark onto a blue cardbase and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add splatters with watered-down white gouache

I created this card for Mennys Bastelshop using the Heffy Doodle Llamazing Llama stamp set and I got inspired by this Heffy Doodle YouTube Video:

• stamp several images from the Heffy Doodle Llamazing Llamas set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the images with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background using the Paper Smooches Border 3 die set and colored cardstock
• add the sentiment cut from colored cardstock with the help of the Time for Tea Designs Hey Hello Hi Sentiment die set

Hi there,

I created this cute tag/bookmark for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a Karten-Kunst Tag from patterned paper
• cut out the heart from the Karten-Kunst Symbolisch gemeint Ostern from kraft cardstock and patterned paper 
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine set with Versamark onto a strip of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Villainous Potion
• thread purple twine through the holes of the tags

Make a Wish Snowflake

Hi there,

it's time for our Inspiration Week over at Menny's Bastelshop and this week our topic is "Snowflakes":

• cut out some tags from grass cardstock and patterned paper using the Mama Elephant Fave Tags die set
• stamp the sentiment from the Mama Elephant Mini Messages set with Versafine Clair Portobello
• cut out one of the Honeybee Stamps Lovely Layers Large Snowflakes from foiled cardstock
• add a button and some thread in the middle
• thread two strands of natural twine through the hole of the tag

• create the sentiment using the Karten-Kunst Mega Happy stamp set, Lawn Fawn Jet Black, the Karten-Kunst Joy Alphabet, grass cardstock and Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
• stamp the images from the Karten-Kunst Mini Frames Spring and the Karten-Kunst Mini Frames Garden sets 
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
