it's Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this week our topic is "Embossing Folder". I used the Purple Onion Designs Allie Kitty on Rock stamp set on my project:

• stamp the adorable Purple Onion Designs Allie Kitty on Rock with My Favorite Things Extreme Black onto a rounded rectangle from the Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX die set
• color the image and the background with Ohuhu Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• create a background with an embossing folder
• stamp the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Deep Blue Corners set with Versamark onto a strip of torn vellum and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Salvaged Patina

I created this cute tag/bookmark for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a Karten-Kunst Tag from patterned paper
• cut out the heart from the Karten-Kunst Symbolisch gemeint Ostern from kraft cardstock and patterned paper 
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine set with Versamark onto a strip of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Villainous Potion
• thread purple twine through the holes of the tags

Hi there,

I created this sweet card for Anjas Basteltraum using the Anjas Basteltraum Spring Flowers stamp set:

• stamp the field of flowers from the Anjas Basteltraum Spring Flowers set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Glückwünsche set with that same black ink
• add some hearts from the AB Kleine Post Sprüche set with Versamark and heat-emboss them with Ranger Distress Embossing Glaze Kitsch Flamingo
• add strips of glitter paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Hi there,

I created this card using an image from the Karten-Kunst Vogelglück stamp set:

• stamp the birdhouse from the Karten-Kunst Vogelglück set with Distress Ink Antique Linen
• mask the image and stamp one of the sentiments from the Karten-Kunst Quadratische Texte set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Broken China
• color the image with watercolors and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• mat the panel onto a piece of kraft cardstock
• create some circles from kraft cardstock with the help of the Karten-Kunst DIN A6 Card Designer Nr. 2 die set and a paper punch 
• adhere the panel and the circles to a cream cardbase and add faux stitching using a dark brown fineliner

I created this Christmas Card on which I used the Stained Glass Technique for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out the Karten-Kunst Wavy Ornament
• add a layer of acetate and fill in the ornament with Distress Embossing Glaze
• add the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Weihnachten Modern set stamped with Distress Oxide Ink Peacock Feathers
• add some foiled accents and a twine bow as final embellishments

• mat the watercolor panel onto some kraft cardstock
• run the cardbase through your Big Shot in an embossing folder

• cut out one of the Karten-Kunst Tags with Stitches from Grass Cardstock
• use an embossing folder to add some texture
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
• cut out some heart tags from colored cardstock from the Memory Box Vibrant Violet paper pad using a die from the Karten-Kunst Symbolisch Gemeint Ostern set
• cover the hearts with WOW! Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing powder
• add some natural twine to the three small and the large tag
• stamp the sentiment from the Aus der Schreibmaschine 3 set with Distress Oxide Ink Kitsch Flamingo onto a strip of grass cardstock and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Kitsch Flamingo

I tried something new today: Distress Inks on Photo Paper. I got the idea from a YouTube Short by Ranger. So I created this rusty, vintage card for the Karten-Kunst Blog.

• add color to a panel of photo paper with Distress Ink (Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo) using a brayer
• run the panel through your Big Shot in an embossing folder
• add Distress Ink Walnut Stain to the raised areas
• add some Distress Oxide Spray Salvaged Patina
• use the Karten-Kunst Card Designer A6 die set to cut the panel apart
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Weise Worte für Freunde with white pigment ink and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Salvaged Patina
• cut the Karten-Kunst Carissa Bloom from dark brown cardstock and add it to the layout
• add some splatters with the Distress Oxide Spray Salvaged Patina

• stamp the sentiment, a flower and a butterfly with Versamark onto the fourth rectangle and heat-emboss them with Distress Embossing Glaze Kitsch Flamingo

• create a background using watercolors
• ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire
• add a little wave to the bottom of the panel
• stamp the adorable little sailboat mouse from the Anjas Basteltraum Küstengrüße set with Distress Ink Lost Shadow and color it using watercolors
• add some highlights and dots with a white gel pen
• stamp the larger sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Moin set with Versamark onto a piece of vellum and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Uncharted Mariner
• stamp the second part of the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 3 with Versamark onto a strip of dark blue cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add strips of dark blue cardstock and patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

• arrange the elements on top of the wood grain planks
• create a background using watercolor paper, Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals (Shabby Turbine Teal, Time Travel Teal)
• use the Karten-Kunst Script Background, Versamark, Distress Embossing Glaze Salvaged Patina and Ranger Copper embossing powder to add more texture to the background
• ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 2 set with Versamark onto a strip of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder 
• ink up the edges the sentiment strip with Distress Ink Walnut Stain as well

• stamp the adorable little mouse from the Anjas Basteltraum Geburtstagsfreunde set with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf onto a panel of Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and Prismacolor colored pencils 
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out the Memory Box Magnolia Wreath from green and purple cardstock - add extra dimension with Prismacolor colored pencils and a drop of Nuvo Crystal Drops Buttermilk in the middle of the flowers 
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Glückwünsche set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Villainous Purple
• add a strip of purple cardstock to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

I created this Mixed Media Card using the Karten-Kunst Ash Leaf die set:

• stamp the Karten-Kunst Mandala Leben with Versamark onto a piece of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Salvaged Patina
• add some Distress Oxide Spray Stain Salvaged Patina to the background as well
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Ash Leaf from kraft cardstock
• stamp the leaf with the Karten-Kunst Script Background and Distress Oxide Ink Ground Espresso and leave the outline as it is
• layer the leaves on top of the Mandala Background
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 3 set with Distress Oxide Ink Ground Espresso
• add two strips of brown mirror cardstock to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
• embellish the card with some sequins and Nuvo Vintage Drops Chocolate Chip
