Winterträume - Winter Dreams

Hi there,

it is time for a new Challenge over at Moving along with the Times and this time we would like to see some Christmas Scenes. Sadly this is my last project as a DT member of this wonderful challenge. I loved being on this fabulous team.

• stamp two bunnies and three trees from the Memory Box Holiday Bunnies with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and color the images with Delta and Touch Twin Brush Markers
• add Liquid Pearls (Silver Pearl, Ocean Blue) to the Christmas baubles on the trees
• ink up the top of a white cardbase with Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass) and stamp some snowflakes with the help of the My Favorite Things Snowfall Background and Delicata (Silvery Shimmer)
• cut out the Marianne Design Horizon Pinetrees from grey cardstock
• add snow to the background with Liquid Applique (white)
• cut out the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Pop-up die from white cardstock
• adhere the images with liquid glue
• stamp the sentiment from Karten-Kunst Capri Weihnachtspost with Versafine (Onyx Black)

Hi there,

we are starting a new photo inspiration challenge over at the A Day for Daisies Blog today:

• color the adorable A Day for Daisies Penguin Play image with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a damp brush
• add some splatters with Perfect Pearls Mist (Heirloom Gold), add snowflakes with Stickles (Platinum) and the buttons with a Liquid Pearls (Silver Pearl)
• cut out a stitched panel using the Waltzingmouse Stamps Stitched Rectangles and mount the panel onto a strip of patterned paper from the Avery Elle The Neutral Collection 6x6 patterned paper pad
• stamp the sentiment from Inkystamp Weihnachtszauber with Versafine (Onyx Black)

I have got some exciting news today: this is my first post as a Cupcake Sweetie for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. Our topic this week is Sprinkles:

• stamp the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain with Versamark on a piece of smooth grey cardstock and heat-emboss with WOW! Seafoam White Super Fine embossing powder
• cut out a big and a small scalloped circle from patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Beachside petite paper pack
• stamp the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Birthday Tags with Versamark and heat-emboss with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• stamp a cupcake and the big bear from Mama Elephant Carnival Cupcakes with Memento (Rich Cocoa) and color the images with Delta Markers
• add sprinkles with Liquid Pearls and add Pretty Pink Posh Sequins (6mm Pink Peonies, 4mm Aquamarine, 4mm Pansy Purple, 4mm Sparkling Clear)

Hi there,

I have another card for you.

 

You can find a lot of techniques on this clean and layered card: dry embossing, heat embossing, layering, paper piecing and of course stamping. 

For the background circles, I layered a piece of dry-embossed acetate on top of the heat-embossed larger circle. The little embossed dots on the top circle are colored in with Liquid Pearls and the sticky heat-embossed larger dots are covered with rub-on foil.

The sentiment is heat-embossed on a piece of vellum.
