Hello fellow crafters,

today, I have a cute one-layer card for you:

• stamp the cute little penguin from Lawn Fawn Winter Penguin with Versafine Onyx Black on watercolor paper
• create a mask from Eclipse Tape for the penguin and stamp the floating ice sheet from Lawn Fawn Critters in the Arctic
• create a mask for the floating ice sheet as well
• stamp some snowflakes from the same two Lawn Fawn sets with Versamark Ink and heat-emboss with Wow! Silver Pearl embossig powder
• create a background using Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Faded Jeans) and flick some water droplets on top to create a little texture
• ink the edges with Distress Ink (Chipped Sapphire)
• color the penguin with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and Zest-it
• stamp the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Here's the Scoop and the heart trail from Lawn Fawn Bee Mine with Versafine Onyx Black
• as finishing touches add Distress Glitter (Clear Rock Candy) to the floating ice sheet and Glossy Accents to the penguin's beak

Karten-Kunst - einfach so

Hi there,

here is another post for the Karten-Kunst blog.

• cut two tags from watercolor paper
• cover one of them with Distress Ink (Pumice Stone) and add faux stitching with a Micron Pen
• create a landscape on the second tag using Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Bundled Sage, Mowed Lawn) and the Mini Ink Blending Tool
• stamp clouds and their stitched outline from Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine with Colorbox White and Colorbox Cat's Eye Chalk Charcoal 
• add glue from the Sakura Quickie Glue Pen on the clouds and Distress Glitter Clear Rock Candy on top
• stamp cat, butterfly and snail from Lawn Fawn Critters in the 'Burbs with Colorbox Cat's Eye Black on white cardstock and color with Derwent Coloursoft and Zest-it
• adhere to tag with double-sided tape
• stamp Karten-Kunst sentiment on white cardstock with Colorbox Cat's Eye Chalk Charcoal
• adhere the tags slightly offset with foam dots
• add two different colors of twine to the tag and Glossy Accents to the nose of the cat and the house of the snail
• round the top right corner with your corner rounder

Autumn - Take II

Hi,

I have another autumn card for you today.

• create a custom cut file using Winnie & Walter The Daily Grind Collection Vol. 1: Holiday Mint Add-On and Winnie & Walter The Big, the Bold and Seasons Digital Elements
• cut out this autumn chevron card twice; once from wood veneer and once from watercolor paper
• watercolor the sentiment, the frame and three chevron arrows with Distress Inks (Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade, Faded Jeans, Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves)
• stamp the small and the big star from Winnie & Walter Scenery: It's a Wonderful Pennant with Versamark on kraft cardstock and heat-emboss with DIY glitter embossing powder
• puzzle the pieces together and adhere them to the cardbase with double-sided tape
• add faux stitching with a black PITT Artist Pen and some sequins

Robotastic

Hi,

this is my second card. If you would like to also see the first, click here.

• stamp the large brush stroke from The Alley Way Stamps True Colors on watercolor paper with Distress Ink (Squeezed Lemonade, Shabby Shutters, Pine Needles, Festive Berries) and lots of water from your Mini Mister
• create more interest and texture with the help of the two little squares from The Alley Way Stamps Bot Time and stamp them randomly with Versafine Vintage Sepia
• stamp the cute little robot from the same set three times, cut it out and layer the pieces on top of each other to create your own faux chipboard piece
• color the robot with Derwent Graphitint and a waterbrush and add Glossy Accents to the red bulb and to the glass shield
• before adhering the robot to the card, color the edges with a black PITT Artist Pen
• create a custom-made sentiment using three different stamp sets ("You" from The Alley Way Stamps Jibber Jabber, "are" from The Alley Way Stamps Lighter than Air and the "Robotastic" from The Alley Way Stamps Bot Time) and stamp it with Versafine Onyx Black directly to the watercolor piece
• use Distress Cardstock (Walnut Stain) as a mat and dry-emboss it with the Xcut Quilting embossing folder and the Sizzix Texture Boutique

Autumn

Good Morning,

today, I would like to show you two cards. This first one is an autumn-themed card and the second one has a cute little robot as a focal point. If you are also interested in seeing that one, please click here.

• create a heart-bokeh on watercolor paper with Distress Inks (Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade, Faded Jeans, Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves) and a DIY heart stencil
• use a circle punch to create the final shape of the panel and add Distress Ink (Seedless Preserves) around the edges
• cut out "autumn" from Winnie & Walter The Big, the Bold and Seasons Digital Elements two times from sturdy white cardstock and layer one on top of the other and cover with glitter gold embossing powder
• use twine and three DIY wood veneer hearts covered with Glossy Accents as final embellishments
• use Distress Cardstock (Dusty Concord) as a base for the panel and dry-emboss with the Plaid embossing folder and the Sizzix Texture Boutique
