Let it Snow Shadow Box

Hi there,

I created this Shadow Gift Box for Elizabeth Craft Designs:

  • cut out all the elements for the A little Hut In the Woods Shadow Gift Box from kraft, blue, green, grey and purple cardstock and assemble it using Elizabeth Craft Designs clear double-sided adhesive
  • add a snowy hill cut from white cardstock with the help of one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Adventure Edges
  • add some silver glitter snowflakes to the frame and the sentiment from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Words 5 Winter Wishes die set - I colored the white cardstock with Alcohol Markers
  • stamp the adorable little kids building a snowman from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Christmas Kids set, add a base-coat of color with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers and extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils

I hope you got inspired.

All my favorite Stories include you

Hi there,

I created this sweet little scene for the Stamping-Fairies Facebook Group:

  • cut out a stitched rectangle from watercolor paper
  • stamp the scene and the sentiment with stamps from the My Favorite Things Our Story set and Versafine Clair Morning Mist
  • color the image with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a watercolor brush
  • add Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the lamp and Nuvo Crystal Drops Dark Walnut to the knobs on the chest of drawers
  • add a piece of patterned paper from the Maja Design Denim & Friends 6x6 paper pad behind the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

I hope you got inspired.

  • color the image with Derwent Artists pencils
  • dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Ink Bundled Sage and thread it through the hole of the tag
