May all your wishes come true

Hi there,

I created this sweet watercolor card using the Mama Elephant Dandelion Wishes stamp set:

  • stamp a woodland scene using the Mama Elephant Dandelion Wishes set and My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink Grout Gray
  • color the images with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Clair Nocturne
  • layer the watercolor panel onto patterned paper from the Maja Design Walking in the Forest 6x6 paper pad before adhering it to a Neenah Desert Storm cardbase



I hope you got inspired to try some no-line coloring yourself.

Thank you Poppies

Hi there,

today I would like to show you this card for Gerda Steiner Designs which has - can you believe it - not a single cute critter on it:

  • cut out a stitched panel from smooth white cardstock
  • stamp some poppies from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Bee-Day set with Memento Tuxedo Black - use the Masking Technique
  • color the flowers with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
  • stamp the sentiment from the same set with the same black ink
  • add some black splatters with watered-down acrylic paint
  • add some patterned paper from the Maja Design Summertime 6x6 paper pack to the cardbase before adhering the panel

In the Meadow

Hi there,

we are starting a new STAMPlorations Stencil Challenge over on the Blog:

  • stamp the snowman from the STAMPlorations Winter Chill set with Versafine Clair Nocturne onto a rectangular piece of smooth white cardstock
  • color the image with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils
  • add highlights with a white gel pen
  • apply Distress Ink (Bundled Sage, Pine Needles) through the ARTplorations Trees 1 stencil with a Mini Ink Blending Tool
  • stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine Clair Nocturne multiple times
  • add a piece of patterned paper from the Maja Design A Gift for you 6x6 paper pad underneath before adhering the panel to a cardbase

I'll fix it Beaver

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you this cute beaver tag:

  • cut out one of the tags from the My Favorite Things Tag Builder Blueprints 5 two times - once from Dani Peuss white cardstock and once from patterned paper from the Maja Design Walking in the Forest 6x6 paper pad
  • stamp one of the beavers and the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Build it Beaver set with Versafine Vintage Sepia
  • color the image with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils
  • add highlights with a white gel pen
  • add a hole enforcer from kraft cardstock and linen ribbon to the hole of the tag

Invitation - Einladung

Hi there,

I created this cute invitation for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Brückentext Einladung and three oval windows from a stitched rectangle die cut from patterned paper
  • use stamps from the Karten-Kunst Viecher auf Ballonfahrt to fill the openings
  • color the images with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils
  • adhere all the layers to a kraft cardbase
  • add little dots of Nuvo Vintage Drops (Earl Grey, Bonnie Blue) as final embellishments

Magical Winter

Hi there,

I created this sweet watercolor bunny card for the Stamping-Fairies Facebook Group:

  • stamp a little scene using Art Impressions Watercolor Stamps, Winsor & Newton Watercolor Markers and a damp watercolor brush
  • cut out a stitched tag around the scene and another stitched tag from patterned paper from the Maja Design Joyous Winter Days 6x6 paper pad
  • slightly offset the patterned paper tag and adhere both to a stitched panel cut from patterned paper from that same paper pad
  • thread a piece of natural twine through the holes of the tags
  • decorate a kraft cardbase with little leaves from an Art Impressions Watercolor stamp set stamped with Archival Ink Coffee
  • stamp the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Frosty Fairy Friends set with Versafine Smokey Gray

Huuiii!

Hi there,

I created this fun winter slider card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • stamp the adorable Karten-Kunst Barney der Eisläufer with Versafine Onyx Black and color the image with Derwent Inktense pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • add Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the mane and the tail and Wink of Stella Silver Glitter to the horn
  • create a slider background using watercolor paper, the Memory Box Stitched Rectangles Layers, the My Favorite Things Stitched Snow Drifts, double-sided foam adhesive and some plastic
  • add color with Distress Inks (Chipped Sapphire, Tumbled Glass) and a Mini Ink Blending Tool
  • stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Onyx Black onto the snow drift
  • add a trail onto the snow drift with Finetec Mica Watercolor Dragon Silver
  • stamp some stars from the same set into the evening sky with Delicata Silvery Shimmer
  • stamp the Pull Here from the Lawn Fawn Push Here set onto he pull tap
  • adhere a piece of patterned paper from the Maja Design Home for the Holidays 6x6 paper pad to the cardbase before adding the slider panel

  • add some sparkle with Pearlized Water
  • stamp the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Winter Big Scripty Words with Delicata Silvery Shimmer
  • cover the cardbase with patterned paper from the Maja Design Vintage Winter 6x6 paper pad before adhering the watercolor panel on top

Have a really fabulous Birthday

Hi there,

I created this cute Winter Birthday Reveal Wheel for the Stamping-Fairies Facebook Group:

  • stamp the adorable little penguin and some trees from the My Favorite Things Ready, Set, Snow set with Memento Tuxedo Black
  • color the images with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers and Prismacolor Colored Pencils
  • add white Liquid Applique to the brim and the pompom of the hat
  • create a Reveal Wheel using the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel die set
  • add color to the background with Distress Oxide Ink (Weathered Wood, Milled Lavender, Tumbled Glass)
  • apply pearl white modeling paste through a snow stencil
  • stamp some of the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Sentiments with Versafine Onyx Black
  • add splatters to the Reveal Wheel with Distress Stain Brushed Pewter
  • add snow drifts cut with the help of two of the My Favorite Things Stitched Snow Drifts dies
  • cut out the third part of the sentiment using a die form the My Favorite Things Brushstroke Birthday die set and add ombre colors with Alcohol Markers
  • stamp the first part of the sentiment fro the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Sentiments set onto a piece of colored white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black
  • cover a cardbase with patterned paper from the Maja Design Home for the Holidays 6x6 paper pad before adhering the Reveal Wheel panel

Merry Christmas Puppy

Hi there,

have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy my creation for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • stamp one of the puppies from the Gerda Steiner Designs Christmas Puppies set on a piece of watercolor paper with Versafine Vintage Sepia and color the image with Derwent Inktense pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • cut out a stitched panel from patterned paper from the Maja Design Home for the Holidays 6x6 paper pad
  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Frohes Fest from the patterend paper panel and once again from silver glitter paper
  • lay the glitter paper into the patterned paper panel and put the sentiment cut from white cardstock and colored with Alcohol Markers on top
  • adhere all the layers to a cardbase cut from Gmund Beer Paper Weizen

Merry Christmas - Frohes Fest

Hi there,

I created this sequin background window card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut out a stitched panel from smooth white cardstock and create a background using the little images from the Karten-Kunst Runde Siegel set and Versafine (Crimson Red, Toffee, Olympia Green)
  • cut out a window from the panel using the background from the Karten-Kunst Frohes Fest die set
  • cover the window with a piece of acetate and glue some Pretty Pink Posh Sequins Mossy Green onto the patterned paper background - the paper is from the Maja Designs Home for Christmas 6x6 paper pad
  • glue the sentiment cut from red glitter paper using the Karten-Kunst Frohes Fest die set on top of the acetate

Smells like Christmas

Hi there,

I created this adorable Christmas card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • create a background on a stitched panel of watercolor paper using Distress Oxide Inks or Distress Oxide Re-Inkers (Broken China, Peacock Feathers) and water from your Mini Mister
  • stamp the Karten-Kunst Spiral-Text Schnee with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • stamp the sweet mouse from the Gerda Steiner Designs Smell like Christmas set with Versafine Smokey Gray, do some paper-piecing with patterned paper from the Maja Designs Home for Christmas 6x6 paper pad and color the rest of the image with Faber-Castell Albrecht-Dürer Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • add white Liquid Applique to the cap and the shoes for extra dimension
