I have a confession to make: I love unicorns and every time I see a new unicorn stamp set I really have to have it. This one was no exception. I created this sweet rainbow card using the Clearly Besotted Stamps Fairy Tale Unicorn stamp set:
- cut out a wonky stitched square from watercolor paper and stamp the unicorn and the rainbow from the Clearly Besotted Fairy Tale Unicorn set with My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink Grout Gray - use the masking technique
- stamp the sentiment from the Klartext-Stempel set Einhorn 3 with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
- color the image with Derwent Inktense pencils and a damp watercolor brush
- cut out a stitched rectangle from patterned paper from the My Favorite Things Party Patterns 6x6 paper pad and another stitched rectangle from Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardstock using the Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangle die set
- adhere the watercolor panel with double-sided foam adhesive for more dimension
- wrap some silver thread around the panels before adhering all the layers to a cardbase
Leave a little sparkle wherever you go.
