Easter Ornament

Hi there,

I used an image from the Gerda Steiner Designs Spring Digital Stamp Bundle to create a little Easter ornament:

• color the Tulip Bunny and the Tulip Grass which are available as part of the Gerda Steiner Designs Spring Digital Stamp Bundle with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a damp watercolor brush
• cut out an egg-shape from the Taylored Expressions Egg Stacklets around the image and a larger one from kraft cardstock
• add some shimmer to the border of the kraft egg with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
• I wrote the sentiment on a thin strip of kraft cardstock with a dip pen and black ink
• punch a flower-shaped hole into the ornament and thread some light-blue twine through it
• add some Enamel Accents (Caribbean Coast) as final touch

this week we are having a Sketch Challenge over at the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown:

• stamp the snowflakes from Waltzingsmouse Stamps Frosty in the Pines with Versamark and heat-emboss with WOW! Whirlpool embossing powder
• cut a strip from the panel
• mat the rest of the snowflake panel on a piece of dark kraft cardstock
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Walnut Stain)
• cut a triangle from dark kraft cardstock and use a border punch to create a scalloped edge
• stamp the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Mini Messages with Versafine (Vintage Sepia)
• stamp the fox from Create a Smile Cool Buddies with Memento (Tuxedo Black) on Perfect Coloring Paper and color the image with Delta Markers
• add black Enamel Accents to the eyes and the nose
• adhere everything to a Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardbase

here is this week's card for the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown:

• stamp Hero Arts Holiday Dolls with Versafine (Smokey Gray) on white carstock and cut out a label around it
• color the image with Derwent Coloursoft Pencils and Zest-it 
• apply Wink of Stella Clear Glitter, Enamel Accents and Liquid Applique for extra sparkle and dimension
• add a clear rhinestone as an embellishment to the pompon of the cap and faux stitching with a Memento Marker (Gray Flannel)
• adhere a strip of patterned paper from the BoBunny Altitude 6x6 paper pad to a white cardbase and stamp the sentiment from Lili of the Valley Christmas Handwritten Phrases with Versafine (Smokey Gray)
• use the concave corner punch on all four corners

Karten-Kunst - Zum Geburtstag

Hello there,

I created a new card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• stamp Wild Rose Studio Bees with Cupcake with the brown from the Cat's Eye Queues Rich Rustics on watercolor paper
• color the image with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a waterbrush
• use Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass) diluted with water for the background
• cut a frame and three banners from Distress Cardstock (Pine Needles, Dusty Concord, Faded Jeans, Broken China)
• stamp Karten-Kunst sentiment Zum Geburtstag (For your Birthday) with Versamark on a strip of smooth black cardstock and heat-emboss with white embossing powder
• add three black DIY enamel dots, Glossy Accents to the flame, Distress Glitter Clear Rock Candy to the wings and dots from a white pearl maker to the sprinkles on the cupcake
• adhere to dark kraft carstock with foam dots

Karten-Kunst - Für Dich

Hi there,

today, I would like to share the cutest card creation for the Karten-Kunst Blog with you.

• stamp cat from Wee Stamps Playful Kittens on white cardstock with Colorbox Cat's Eye Black and mask off the little butterfly with washi tape
• stamp sentiment Karten-Kunst für dich as a balloon string and stamp the big heart balloon from Wild Rose Studio Teddy and Mouse on top ("für dich" is German and means "for you")
• color with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and Zest-it
• add white Enamel Accents to the dots on the scarf and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter and Glossy Accents to the balloon for extra shine and dimension
• adhere panel to patterned paper from the Avery Elle Sorbet Collection and use white cardstock as a base
