Deepest Sympathy

Hi there,

I created this Condolence Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog inspired by the amazing projects of the wonderful Gisette:

  • cut out grass cardstock and tissue paper squares with the help of the Karten-Kunst Card Designer Squares
  • cut out a little butterfly from the Poppy Stamps Bunches o' Butterflies die set and a Karten-Kunst Branch Wreath
  • cover these elements with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Perissa embossing powder
  • stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Polished Gold Super Fine embossing powder
  • stamp some Karten-Kunst Blooming Plants into the background with Altenew Crisp Ink Morning Frost

Merry little Christmas

Hi there,

I created this sweet card using all kinds of smaller images from the Anjas Basteltraum Lebkuchenbäckerei and Weihnachtsbiber stamp sets:

  • stamp the little Christmas Tree from the Anjas Basteltraum Lebkuchenbäckerei set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and dimension and shine with Nuvo White Blizzard and Morning Dew
  • create a background on a panel of white cardstock using the smaller images from the Anjas Basteltraum Lebkuchenbäckerei and Weihnachtsbiber stamp sets and Altenew Crisp Ink Mountain Mist
  • cut out two Lawn Fawn Mini Wreaths from colored cardstock, add highlights with a white gel pen and shine with Nuvo Morning Dew
  • add splatters of watered-down white gouache to a turquoise cardbase and adhere the main panel on top
  • cut out the Lawn Fawn Merry Christmas Border from colored cardstock and add it as a sentiment

Mail for You

 Hi there,

I created this colorful rainbow card using the sweet little fox from the Anjas Basteltraum Geburtstagsfreunde stamp set:

  • stamp the image from the Anjas Basteltraum Geburtstagsfreunde set with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • create a background on a white cardbase using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Borders die set
  • cut out a rainbow from colored cardstock with the help of a die from the Whimsy Stamps Array of Rainbow set and ink up the edges with matching colors for more depth
  • stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Post set with rainbow colors of Altenew Crisp Ink

Love

Hi there,

it is time for a new Stencil Challenge over on the STAMPlorations Blog

  • stamp one of the flower clusters from the STAMPlorations Thankful & Blessed set several times with Versafine Onyx Black onto a panel cut from smooth white cardstock
  • add more texture by stamping the dot pattern from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge set and the paint splatters and stripes from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Elements set with Altenew Crisp Ink (Lagoon, Deep Iris, Emerald)
  • apply Radiant Neon Electric Pink through the ARTplorations Honeycomb Delight mini stencil
  • cut CUTplorations Love twice from white and once from black cardstock and ink up the bottom with that same pink ink

Little Snowman Tag

Hi there,

I created this adorable Christmas Tag using the Gerda Steiner Designs Little Snowman stamp set:

  • cut out the Clearly Besotted Stamps Rounded Tag from smooth white cardstock
  • stamp the cute snowman from the Gerda Steiner Designs Little Snowman set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
  • add some snowflakes from the same set with Altenew Crisp Ink Sea Glass
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
  • add highlights with a white gel pen
  • ink up the edges with Distress Ink Victorian Velvet and a blending brush
  • dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Ink Peacock Feathers and thread it through the hole of the tag

Happy Birthday Sunshine

Hi there,

I created this sunny Birthday Card using the Gerda Steiner Designs Hello Sunshine stamp set:

  • stamp the sun from the Gerda Steiner Designs Hello Sunshine set with Altenew Crisp Ink Honey Drizzle and the sun's face from the same set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
  • stamp the sentiment from the same set and some birds from the Karten-Kunst Sonnengrüße set with Versafine Clair Nocturne
  • add a strip of glitter paper to the left and right of the panel and a strip of patterned paper to the left before adhering it to a cardbase

Make your Wishes Come True

Hi there,

this is another card I created with the Karten-Kunst Nyala Script Wunscherfüller die set:

  • stamp a background using the Karten-Kunst Große Worte Wunscherfüller set and several pink Altenew Crisp Ink pads (Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, Rubellite, Razzleberry)
  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Nyala Script Wunscherfüller from vellum and white cardstock colored with the matching darkest pink ink
  • adhere some sequins with Nuvo Crystal Drops Rhubarb Crumble

Monochromatic Rainbows

Hi there,

I created this monochromatic rainbow card using the Karten-Kunst Rainbows stamp set:

  • stamp several small rainbows using the Karten-Kunst Rainbows set and Altenew Crisp Ink (Emerald, Lagoon, Mountain Mist)
  • add some hearts from that same set with Versafine Clair Nocturne
  • add the Karten-Kunst Nyala Script Für Dich cut from black and white cardstock as the sentiment
  • adhere the panel to a black cardbase
  • add some sequins as final embellishments

Spring is here

Hi there,

I created this project for the Things with Wings Blog Hop over on the STAMPlorations Blog:




  • stamp three of the butterflies from the STAMPlorations Grateful Flutters set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and color them with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
  • mask the images and stamp the background using the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge, Scribbly Splattery Grunge, Mixed Media Elements and Art Marks sets together with Altenew Crisp Ink (Sea Breeze, Aqualicious, Teal Cave) and Versafine Clair Nocturne
  • the sentiment is from the STAMPlorations Hello Spring sticker set
  • add a strip of black cardstock and one of patterned paper to the left side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Happy Birthday Lion

Hi there,

I created this cute little birthday card using some brand new stamp sets from Clearly Besotted Stamps:

  • stamp the little lion from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Pop up Plushies set, the parcel form the Clearly Besotted Stamps Pop up Props set and the speech bubble with the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Pop up Psst set with Memento Tuxedo Black 
  • color the images with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers - add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • cut out an Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rounded Square around it
  • cut out an Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rounded Rectangle from smooth white cardstock
  • create a background using the Studio L2E Bokeh Builder set and Altenew Crisp Ink (Aqualicious, Hydrangea)
  • mount the stitched panels onto a piece of violet cardstock before adhering it to a white cardbase

Hello Summer Popsicles

Hi there,

I would like to show you this yummy ice cream card:

  • create colored watercolor panels using Paper Artsy Infusions (Slime, Frankly Scarlet, Orange County) and water from you mister bottle
  • stamp watermelons, oranges and kiwis with the help of the Concord & 9th Orange you sweet set and different colors of Altenew Crisp Ink
  • cut out popsicles using the Lawn Fawn I scream, you scream die set and woodgrain cardstock
  • cover them with vellum, clear embossing powder and as a final step with Nuvo Crystal Glaze
  • create a background on a stitched watercolor panel with Distress Spray Stain Tumbled Glass
  • cut out the first part of the sentiment using the CUTplorations hello four times from white cardstock and layer the pieces on top of each other
  • color the bottom part with Distress Oxide Ink Tumbled Glass
  • stamp the second part of the sentiment using the Elizabeth Craft Designs Beach Sentiments set, Versamark and WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

All the Love

Hi there,

it is time for another Stencil Challenge over on the STAMPlorations Blog:

  • start on a rectangular panel cut from watercolor paper
  • apply Prima Marketing Heavy Gesso through the ARTplorations Flowers 2 stencil
  • add color with watered-down Dina Wakley Heavy Body acrylic Paints (Heather, Mineral, Carnation)
  • grunge up the edges with Art Graf Watercolor Graphite
  • add some more texture by stamping the script from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Elements with Archival Ink Watering Can
  • dye a piece of cheesecloth with Distress Ink Spun Sugar and Heidi Swapp Color Shine Spray Tinsel
  • stamp the STAMPlorations Typografia Romantique All the Love with three different colors of Altenew Crisp Ink (Pink Diamond, Industrial Diamond, Lavender Fields) to match the background
  • adhere the sentiment panel with double-sided foam adhesive
