Hi there,

I created this cute little birthday card using some brand new stamp sets from Clearly Besotted Stamps:

• stamp the little lion from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Pop up Plushies set, the parcel form the Clearly Besotted Stamps Pop up Props set and the speech bubble with the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Pop up Psst set with Memento Tuxedo Black 
• color the images with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers - add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out an Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rounded Square around it
• cut out an Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rounded Rectangle from smooth white cardstock
• create a background using the Studio L2E Bokeh Builder set and Altenew Crisp Ink (Aqualicious, Hydrangea)
• mount the stitched panels onto a piece of violet cardstock before adhering it to a white cardbase

we are starting a Photo Inspiration Challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More:

• cut out the larger of the two Whiff of Joy Sweet Tags from watercolor paper 
• create a background using the StudioL2E Bokeh Builder stamp set, Distress Inks (Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass, Seedless Preserves, Twisted Citron, Blueprint Sketch,) and Pearlized Water
• ink up the edges of the tag with Distress Ink (Broken China) and a Mini Ink Blending Tool
• stamp one of the cute cats from the Clearly Besotted Stamps You're purrfect set with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and color the image with Delta, Touch Twin Brush Markers and a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from Uniko Simply Said with Versafine (Onyx Black)
• dye a piece of seam binding with the same Distress Ink colors used on the tag and thread it through the hole of the tag

we are starting a new challenge over at the A Day for Daisies Blog and we would like you to try a two color ombre:

• color the A Day for Daisies Fairy Queen Primrose with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens, Distress Markers and a waterbrush
• add Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Glitter to the wings and the crown
• use Distress Markers to create a background - add little diluted droplets at the top of the panel and let them run down
• stamp some circles using the StudioL2E Bokeh Builder and Delicata Silvery Shimmer
• add some splatters with watered-down Distress Marker 
• add a strip of grey cardstock and a strip of purple glitter cardstock to the left side of the panel before adhering it to a white cardbase

• apply Texture Paste colored with Distress Re-Inker (Peacock Feathers) through the Heidi Swapp Confetti Stencil to white cardstock
• cut "fabulous" from Studio L2E Beautiful Words cut file three times from watercolor paper and color with the Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors
• layer the sentiment to create kind of an ombre look
• add stickers from the Simple Stories DIY line
• adhere the completed panel to a kraft cardbase

Hi there,

the story of today's card is a little odd. Normally, I have an overall concept before I start creating a card but this time it was different. I wanted to try out a packing tape transfer. I used some oriental paper for this technique, which just had a little bit too much gold for my taste. The transfer worked out fine. I wanted to take it a little step further and decided to use this piece in my cutting machine and the result was a beautiful sentiment. I then decided to create a card using this sentiment and here is the result:

• cut the StudioL2E beautiful sentiment from the packing tape transfer piece and adhere it to a white cardbase using Multi Medium Matte
• stamp flower from Marianne Design Eline's Oriental Lady EC0127 randomly with Versafine Onyx Black
• stamp Heindesign Tigerkatze right above the "u" using a stamp positioner
• color the images with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and Zest-it
• add a little white pearl above the "i", Glossy Accents to the center of the flowers and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the petals of the flowers

I would like to show you the card that I created yesterday.

• stamp Hero Arts Life of the Party Dots with Versamark on watercolor paper and heat-emboss with Zing! white embossing powder
• add the ombre look using Distress Ink (Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry) and the Mini Ink Blending Tool; add the darkest ink color around the edges
• cut wonderful from StudioL2E Beautiful Words Cut File from white cardstock three times and color with the same Distress Inks - layer darkest to lightest and cover the lightest sentiment with DIY Glitter embossing powder 
• adhere to white cardbase with foam tape and add sequins
• round the top right corner with a 1'' corner rounder
