I created this fun Easter Card using lots of Karten-Kunst goodies:

  • add some shading to the elements using Distress Ink Ground Espresso
  • cut out two eggs using the Taylored Expressions Egg Stacklets - one from woodgrain cardstock and one slightly bigger one from patterned paper
  • assemble the bunny and add it on top of the layered Easter Egg - add some googly eyes to make it extra special
  • create the background on kraft cardstock using the egg from the Karten-Kunst Mega Ostern, Versamark and WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • white heat-emboss the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Riesige Wünsche Ostern on a strip of kraft cardstock as well
  • add a strip of kraft cardstock and of patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Monster

Good Morning,

today I would like to show you a very cute card I created.

I am going to link it up to the following two challenges:

BE Inspired Challenge #51

and Creative Friday #99: Punkte

I think it turned out pretty great. My kids love it.

I stamped the cute monster on red paper with white polka dots - and to give it an interactive element I added the googly eyes. Then I customized wooden clothespins with Distress Paint to match the colors of the rainbow and the Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine paper. A glitter-sentiment with faux stitching finished the card.

Here is my list of supplies:
The Alley Way Stamps - Monster Mash
Lawn Fawn - Hello Sunshine petite paper pack
ek success - Mini Pennant Set
paper scraps
Sternenstaub Embossing Powder - Psychedelic
clothespins
Distress Paint (Dusty Concord, Salty Ocean, Evergreen Bough, Mustard Seed, Dried Marigold, Picked Raspberry)
googly eyes
kraft cardstock

Thanks for visiting.

Yours,
Tanja
