it's Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this week our topic is "Embossing Folder". I used the Purple Onion Designs Allie Kitty on Rock stamp set on my project:

• stamp the adorable Purple Onion Designs Allie Kitty on Rock with My Favorite Things Extreme Black onto a rounded rectangle from the Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX die set
• color the image and the background with Ohuhu Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• create a background with an embossing folder
• stamp the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Deep Blue Corners set with Versamark onto a strip of torn vellum and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Salvaged Patina

Snowflake Wishes

Hi there,

I created this sweet Winter Card for Mennys Bastelshop and this week's inspirational topic is "Embossing Folder":

• stamp the Purple Onion Designs Tofu & The Snowman with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• run a panel of watercolor paper through your Big Shot in the Spellbinders Flurry of Snowflakes embossing folder
• use Distress Mica Stain (Wonderland, Sugary Gumdrop) to add some color to the background
• ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Peacock Feathers
• tear a piece of vellum in order to create a hill shape
• cut out some Lawn Fawn Stitched Snowflakes and the Creative Expressions Snowflake Wishes sentiment from white glitter paper

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you this sweet little Gerda Steiner Designs Gnome Couple:

• color the Gerda Steiner Designs Gnome Couple with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens
• take a white rectangular piece of cardstock and stamp the Purple Onion Designs Sign and color it with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
• create some grass using the My Favorite Things Grassy Edges and Distress Oxide Ink Bundled Sage and some clouds with the help of the My Favorite Things Mini Cloud Edges stencil and Distress Oxide Ink Tumbled Glass
• stamp the sentiment from the Create a Smile Kleine Sprüche set into the wooden sign with Versafine Onyx Black ("Für Immer" is German and means "for ever")

Be Jolly Tag

Hi there,

we are starting a new Christmas Challenge over on the Happy Little Stampers Blog and this time the optional twist is "Tag".

• cut out a tag from watercolor paper and stamp the adorable Purple Onion Designs Jolly snowman with Versafine (Smokey Gray)
• color the image and the background with Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
• stamp the sentiment from the Avery Elle Be Jolly set with Versafine (Deep Lagoon) and heat-emboss it with clear embossing powder
• add snowflakes using white Liquid Applique
• dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Ink (Broken China) and Distress Oxide Ink Broken China) and thread it through the hole of the tag

Hi there,

we are starting a new Christmas Challenge over on the Happy Little Stampers Blog and this is my creation. I didn't use the optional twist this time but I still hope you like the little scene.

• stamp the Purple Onion Designs Birch House, the larger one of the 2 Forests and the Let it snow sentiment with Versafine (Onyx Black) onto a piece of watercolor paper
• cut a wonky rectangle around the scene using a die from the Avery Elle Wonky Stitches set
• color the images with Derwent Inktense pencils 
• add color to the background with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors
• add snow with the help of white Liquid Applique

• spray pearlized water on and let it sit for a while, then soak up the excess with a paper towel
• stamp the large forest from Purple Onion Designs 2 Forests with Brilliance (Pearlescent Ivy) directly on the background panel using a stamp positioner
• create the snowbank by covering watercolor paper with Liquitex Glass Beads Gel and DIY Glitter embossing powder
• stamp the sentiment from Mama Elephant Jolly and Merry directly on the background panel with Versamark and heat-emboss with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder
• add the second part of the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black
• use the Liquitex Round Splatter Brush and Dylusions Ink Spray (White Linen) to add "snowflakes"
• stamp the cute little polar bear Icicle from Purple Onion Designs on Stonehenge paper (Pearl Grey) and color the image and the forest with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor and Zest-it,

• cut two tags from watercolor paper
• stamp Visible Image Bronte Script several times with Versamark on the background tag and create a resist using Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors
• for the main tag stamp the sun from Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine with Versamark in the top right corner and heat-emboss with Zing! butter embossing powder
• stamp the stitched clouds from the same set with Versamark and heat-emboss with clear embossing powder
• create a resist with Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean)
• paper piece the little envelope from Lawn Fawn You've got Mail with Lawn Fawn Let's Polka patterned paper from the 6x6 petite paper pack
• cut two fishtail banners from smooth black cardstock and stamp "sending" from Lawn Fawn You've got Mail and "sunshine" from Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine with Versamark and heat-emboss with Zing! butter embossing powder
• stamp Purple Onion Designs Charlotte on Neenah Solar White Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black and color the adorbale little image with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it
