  • stamp one of the Llamas from the My Favorite Things Happy Llamadays set with Versafine Clair Pinecone onto a piece of Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock
  • color the image with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
  • cut out a frame using two of the Tim Holtz Stitched Rectangles dies
  • create a shaker element with the help of a piece of acetate and double-sided foam adhesive
  • fill the shaker element with coarse glitter and close it with a piece of patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day 6x6 paper pad
  • stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versamark onto the acetate and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • adhere the shaker element to an off-white cardbase

Warm Hands, Warm Hearts

Hi there,

we are starting a new TAGplorations Challenge over on the STAMPlorations Blog and this time it's all about Christmas and the optional twist is Glitter:

  • cut out one of the CUTplorations Manila Tags from watercolor cardstock
  • stamp the cup and the santa hat from the STAMPlorations Big Christmas Cups set and the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Warm Hands, Warm Hearts set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
  • color the image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens, Distress Markers and a damp watercolor brush
  • add some splatters with Mister Hueys Gold and dye a piece of torn seam binding with the leftover spray before threading it through the hole of the tag

And here is the version of my daughter Emily (8):

Have a wonderful Christmas Time.

Fa La La La Llamas

Hi there,

I created this Christmas Card using the new Gerda Steiner Designs Fa-La-La-La-Llamas:

  • cut out Dotted Scallop Circle around the Gerda Steiner Designs Fa-La-La-La-Llamas to make it look like an ornament
  • color the image with Inktense Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • add highlights and details with a white gel pen
  • use white Liquid Applique on the rims and the pompoms of the hats and Nuvo Crystal Glaze on the ornaments and the lights for more dimension and texture
  • add color to the sentiment strip from the same digital stamp set with Distress Oxide Ink Iced Spruce
  • layer the circle onto patterned paper from the Crate Paper Bundled up 6x6 paper pad
  • use felt to create a little bow at the top and natural twine as a little hanger

Have a christmasy day.

Hugs,
