Good morning,

today, I would like to show you this card:

• dry-emboss white cardbase with Darice Wood Grain embossing folder and Sizzix Texture Boutique
• create a background on Ranger Specialty Stamping Paper using Distress Stains (Brushed Pewter, Black Soot, Picket Fence), Distress Ink (Pumice Stone), Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment Ink and the TCW Wood Grain mini stencil; add clear embossing powder on top to create extra shine and dimension - you should also check out Tammy's blog for a similar technique
• cut two stripes from this background and add them on the top and on the bottom of the card
• stamp flower from Altenew Hennah Elements with Versamark on watercolor paper and heat-emboss with clear embossing powder
• color the flower with Peerless Watercolors and adhere it to the card with foam tape
• stamp Karten-Kunst sentiment on vellum with Versamark and heat-emboss with black diamond embossing powder ("in stillem Gedenken" is German and means "in silent remembrance")
• add three Doodlebug Design Inc. sequins (Bettle Black) to finish the card

I wanna hug you

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you this cute little bookmark that I created for my husband's birthday and our wedding anniversary:

• cut out a tag shape from watercolor paper and stamp the sweet cat with Versafine Onyx Black in the middle
• create a mask and place it over the stamped image
• stamp My Favorite Things Art Expression Text with Versamark Ink and heat-emboss with Ranger Sticky embossing powder in order to use the new Ranger Shiny Foil Transfer Sheets on top (Vintage) - I really hoped those sheets were a little bigger
• color the tag with Distress Ink (Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy) and add paint splatters in the darker color
• color the cat with a Distress Marker (Pumice Stone)
• stamp "I wanna hug" with Stampendous Tiny Alphabet and Versamark on a strip of black cardstock and heat-emboss with silver embossing powder
• cut the "you" from the same black cardstock two times, layer the pieces on top of each other to create dimension and cover it with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
• add twine and three Doodlebug Design Inc. sequins (Beetle Black) to finish the tag

it's me again. This is my second post today, If you are also interested in the cute little bear card click here.

Here I have another card that I would like to show you:

• print out From the Heart Stamps Pumpkin PigWit on Canson Imagine Mix Media paper
• color the cute image with Derwent Coloursoft Pencils and Zest-it
• use kraft cardstock as a base and cut out a circle frame from gold foiled cardstock
• adhere the image with foam tape
• cut out two banners - one from cork and one from kraft cardstock
• stamp "i ♥ fall" from Lawn Fawn Into the Woods with Versamark on the craft banner and heat-emboss with white embossing powder
• cover two wood veneer leaves with Distress Paint (Peeled Paint, Wild Honey, Gathered Twigs) and heat-emboss with DIY glitter embossing powder
• round the top right corner with a 1'' corner rounder and add two sequins as a final embellishment

Hi there,

here is another card that I would like to show you:

• stamp cute little bear from Paper Smooches Chubby Chum Pals with Versafine Onyx Black on watercolor paper
• use earth stamp from Paper Smooches Space Cadet as a balloon and "celebrate" from Paper Smooches Scripty Sayings as a balloon string
• color with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and Zest-it
• cut the panel to size and add faux stitching with a black Pitt Artist Pen
• cover the balloon with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter and put Glossy Accents on top
• add googly eyes to the cute little bear
• use kraft cardstock as a cardbase and create your own background using small pieces from the following Paper Smooches stamp sets: Scripty Sayings (small heart), Space Cadet (star and three tiny stars), Sugar Rush (three tiny circles); stamp with Adirondack Dye Ink (Latte) for a tone-on-tone look
• round the top right and the bottom right corner with a 1'' corner rounder

This image is one of my husband's favorites and with his birthday coming up this card is the perfect gift.

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you this card:

• cover the white cardbase with a sheet from Heidi Swapp Dreamy 6x6 paper pad 
• add a circle and a panel from the same paper pad
• create a Bokeh piece using watercolor paper, watercolors, white pigment ink, a DIY circle stencil and two different daubers (Tsukineko and Faber-Castell)
• stamp the cute little octopus from Lawn Fawn Critters in the Sea with Versafine Onyx Black on watercolor paper, heat-emboss with clear embossing powder and color with Stabilo Pen 68 and a waterbrush
• cut a banner from wood veneer and stamp the sentiment from Tim Holtz Simple Sayings with Versafine Vintage Sepia
• ink the edges of the round and rectangular panels with Distress Ink (Vintage Photo), add faux stitching with a Distress Marker (Vintage Photo), freckles to the octopus with a white gel pen, Wink of Stella Clear Glitter and two mini-staples from the Tiny Attacher

Karten-Kunst - Zum Geburtstag

Hello there,

here is a new creation for Karten-Kunst. I got inspired by Shari's Day-5-Card from the Stretch your Stamps 2 Class.

• create a mask for one of the flower stamps from Karten-Kunst Exotische Blumen
• stamp the flowers several times with Colorbox Cat's Eye Black on white cardstock to create a border
• color the leaves with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and Zest-it
• stamp the flowers again on patterned paper from Prima Marketing 12 x12 Art Journal paper pad with Colorbox Cat's Eye Chalk Charcoal, cut them out, give them dimension with the help of an embossing stylus and adhere them to the card with foam dots
• paint the flowers lightly with Smooch Spritz Spun Sugar using a paint brush
• stamp sentiment from Karten-Kunst Weise Worte zum Geburtstag with Colorbox Cat's Eye Chalk Charcoal ("Alles Liebe und Gute zum Geburtstag" is German and means something like "Love and all the Best for your Birthday")
• heat-emboss the left and right edge of the white cardbase with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder
• add sequins as a final touch

Hi there,

can you believe it ... this is my 200th post already ... I would like to take the time, to thank you for your support and appreciation. I recently added a follower button and I would be delighted if you join my site (it is on the left side right under the "Popular Posts" section).

And of course I also got a card to show you. I got inspired by Debby and Tara and their use of balsa wood. I thought to myself: why limit this wonderful trend to light wood only and I got some different colors of 0,6 mm wood veneer and started experimenting. Here is the result:

• cut a wood veneer panel to size and round the edges with a 0,5'' corner rounder
• punch three hearts from the dark leftover piece and cover them with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
• stamp flower, dots and ornaments from Altenew Hennah Elements with Versamark and heat-emboss with Zing! white embossing powder
• color the flowers with Stabilo Pen 68
• cut a piece of burlap about the same size as the wood veneer panel
• stamp border from the same stamp set on the a kraft cardbase with Versamark and heat-emboss with the same white embossing powder

The Sky's the Limit

Hi there,

today I would like to show you this card:

• use kraft cardstock as a cardbase
• create a sky background on watercolor paper using Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans) and the Mini Ink Blending Tool 
• add little splatters of Distress Stain (Picket Fence)
• use white embossing paste, a palette knife and the Hero Arts Cloudy Stencil to add the cute fluffy clouds and put DIY Glitter embossing powder on top - melt the embossing powder right away to let the clouds get even fluffier
• stamp the two air balloons from Lawn Fawn Blue Skies and a matching sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black directly to the panel 
• paper piece the air balloons with Pebbles Basics Card Making Pad and adhere them to the panel using foam tape on top and liquid glue at the bottom
• add white gel pen to the bottom part of the balloons and Glossy Accents all over to get that extra shine and dimension
• for the basket I used real burlap - I cut out the stamped shape and added matte multi medium to make the fibres stick together
• glitter stars and sequins add a finishing touch

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you this card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• stamp American Art Stamp Angel with Vase with Colorbox Cat's Eye Black on watercolor paper and color with Winsor & Newton Watercolors
• lightly add Smooch Spritz Vanilla Shimmer to the dress using a brush
• add Ranger Polysparkle embossing powder to the wings with the help of an embossing pen
• add watercolor paint splatters and Distress Ink (Dusty Concord) around the edges with your Mini Ink Blending Tool and use your corner rounder to round the top right and the bottom left corners
• use your heat tool to dry the watercolor panel and to melt the embossing powder
• stamp sentiment from Karten-Kunst Weise Worte zum Geburtstag with Colorbox Cat's Eye Black ("Mögen sich alle Deine Wünsche erfüllen" is German and means "May all your Wishes come true)
• use kraft cardstock as a base and add Maja Vintage Spring Basics 6x6 patterned paper as a background panel and also add two stripes behind it 
• use Distress Ink (Dusty Concord) around the edges and your corner rounder for the background panel
• adhere main panel with foam dots
• sequins and glitter stars add a finishing touch to the card

• add the ombre look using Distress Ink (Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry) and the Mini Ink Blending Tool; add the darkest ink color around the edges
• cut wonderful from StudioL2E Beautiful Words Cut File from white cardstock three times and color with the same Distress Inks - layer darkest to lightest and cover the lightest sentiment with DIY Glitter embossing powder 
• adhere to white cardbase with foam tape and add sequins
• round the top right corner with a 1'' corner rounder

today, I have got another card that I would like to show you. I wanted to create my own Argyle background for a while now and here is the result. It took me some time but it was totally worth it - don't you think?

• use dark kraft cardstock as a cardbase
• start stamping the smallest diamond from Avery Elle Rounded Diamonds with Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Orange Soda, Tide Pool) on Neenah Desert Storm light kraft cardstock
• stamp a stitched line from Technique Tuesday In Stitches over this background with Ranger Adirondack Dye Ink (Latte) in order to create an Argyle pattern
• stamp hello from Avery Elle Modern Leaves with Versamark on dark kraft cardstock and heat-emboss with Zing! Chestnut embossing powder
• add faux stitching around the banner using Memento Dual Marker (Rich Cocoa)
• adhere banner using foam tape and add three sequins from Doodlebug Design (Tangerine, Swimming Pool) as a final touch

today, I would like to share the cutest card creation for the Karten-Kunst Blog with you.

• stamp cat from Wee Stamps Playful Kittens on white cardstock with Colorbox Cat's Eye Black and mask off the little butterfly with washi tape
• stamp sentiment Karten-Kunst für dich as a balloon string and stamp the big heart balloon from Wild Rose Studio Teddy and Mouse on top ("für dich" is German and means "for you")
• color with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and Zest-it
• add white Enamel Accents to the dots on the scarf and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter and Glossy Accents to the balloon for extra shine and dimension
• adhere panel to patterned paper from the Avery Elle Sorbet Collection and use white cardstock as a base

Hello,

I have got another card for you today.

• stamp arrow and tiny star from Lawn Fawn Blue Skies with different colors of Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Bubble Gum, Soft Lilac, Silver, Cornflower, Pale Tomato, Green Fields, Orange Soda, Butter Bar) on white cardstock
• stamp sentiment from Kaisercraft Confidence with Versafine Onyx Black directly to the panel
• cut he panel into three parts - I used a good old cutter knife and a ruler to do so
• prepare white cardbase with a stripe of washi-tape and add panels with foam tape; put two layers of foam tape under the sentiment strip for extra dimension
