Hi there,

I created this underwater card for Gerda Steiner Designs:

• stamp some of the images and the sentiment from the Gerda Steiner Designs Deeply set with Versafine Clair Nocturne
• mask off the images with Masking Fluid
• create an underwater background with Distress Ink (Mermaid Lagoon, Chipped Sapphire) and water droplets
• remove the masking
• color the images with watercolor pencils
• cover a cardbase with patterned paper before adhering the panel

Halli Hallo! - Hello!

Hi there,

Gerda Steiner has released the fabulous new Frogs stamp set with English, Spanish and German sentiments and over the next three weeks I will show you my creations with the Gerda Steiner Designs German Froesche set. This colorful lake scene is my third creation:

• color one of the frogs and two flies from the Gerda Steiner Designs Frogs set with Alcohol Markers - add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils
• add highlights to the eyes and some freckles to the cheeks with a white gel pen
• add shimmer to the wings of the flies with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
• stamp some fish and some reed from the Gerda Steiner Designs Lucky Duck set into the background - use masking fluid to mask them
• add color to the background with the Derwent Inktense Paint Pan Set and a watercolor brush
• remove the masking and color those images with the Derwent Inktense Paint Pan Set as well
• adhere  the sentiment strip with double-sided foam adhesive
• before gluing the panel down onto the cardbase add a strip of green cardstock and of striped patterned paper to the left side

Welcome Baby

Hi there,

I created this sweet little welcome baby tag for the Stamping-Fairies Facebook Group:

• cut out a tag from watercolor paper using a die from the Sizzix Tag Collection
• stamp the rocking horse from the My Favorite Things Hello Little One set with My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink grout Gray 
• color the image with Faber-Castell Albrecht-Dürer Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
• cover the image with masking fluid and let it dry thoroughly
• create a background by applying Distress Oxide Ink Bundled Sage through the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Feather
• create a sentiment with a label maker
• dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Stain Picked Raspberry and thread it through the hole of the tag

A Halloween Hello

Hi there,

I created this fun Halloween Card for the Addicted to Stamps and More Holiday Challenge:

• create a background on watercolor paper using Distress Inks (Shaded Lilac, Seedless Preserves, Dusty Concord)
• spritz the background with Pearlized Water 
• cut out a panel from the watercolor piece with the stitched rectangle from the My Favorite Things Blueprints 20 die set
• apply Distress Ink (Black Soot) through a Tim Holtz Layering Stencil (Shatter) and ink up the edges with the same ink color
• stamp the sentiment from the My Favorite Things Witch Way is the Candy? stamp set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• use the My Favorite Things Stitched Interactive Window Trio die to create three little peek-a-boo-windows
• stamp the cute critters from the same stamp set on a piece of Perfect Colouring Paper with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and color the images with Delta Markers
• mask the images with Daniel Smith Masking Fluid and create a background with Distress Ink (Shaded Lilac) and a Mini Ink Blending Tool

Hi there,

today, we are starting an Inspirational Photo Challenge over at A Day for Daisies:

• print the Mucha Style Bud on watercolor paper and mask the flower with Masking Fluid
• create a background using Distress Inks (Dusty Concord, Shaded Lilac, Spun Sugar)
• color the image with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a damp paintbrush
• cut out a stitched rectangle using the Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers
• water down a drop from the Delicata (Golden Glitz) Re-Inker and add splatters over the panel
• apply Delicata (Golden Glitz) through a Tim Holtz Layering Stencil (Flourish) directly onto a black cardbase using a Mini Ink Blending Tool and heat-emboss it with clear embossing powder
• cut out the hello from black cardstock twice and layer them on top of each other; add Delicata (Golden Glitz) through the stencil and heat-emboss the sentiment as well

Adventure is Calling

Hi there,

I tried a new product on this card - Izink:

• cut out a panel from watercolor paper with the stitched rectangle from the My Favorite Things Blueprints 20 die set
• stamp the sweet little girl from My Favorite Things Adventure is Calling with Versafine (Smokey Gray) and mask her with Daniel Smith Masking Fluid
• mix Distress Inks (Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry) with Izink (Opaline) and create an ombre watercolor wash background - by mixing the Distress Inks with the Izink the colors behave like watercolors and dry permanent
• add splatters with an even darker mixture of Distress Ink (Picked Raspberry) and Izink (Opaline)
• color the girl with Art Grip Aquarelle Pencils, Derwent Inktense Pencils and a damp brush 
• add details to her dress using a white gel pen and add Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the flower in her hair
• apply Texture Paste through the My Favorite Things Swiss Dots stencil
• cut out a scalloped rectangle with the help of the My Favorite Things Blueprints 20 set from purple glitter paper
• cut out a banner from wood veneer using the same die set and stamp the sentiment from the stamp set mentioned above with Versafine (Onyx Black)

Hi there,

connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our fourth transatlantic get-together!

Our requirements this time were:

"One Layer and Stencil"

• stamp two of the butterflies from STAMPlorations Trendy Butterflies with Versafine (Smokey Gray) and ColorBox Archival Ink (Glacier Lake)
• cover the butterflies with Masking Fluid
• stamp the JudiKins Papyrus with Wendy Vecchi Archival Ink (Watering Can)
• apply Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken Chine, Peacock Feathers) to the Memory Box Drip Rings stencil, mist it with water and press it onto the watercolor cardbase - repeat the process until you are happy with the result
• ink up the edges of the card with Distress Ink (Broken China)
• apply Distress Ink (Peacock Feathers) throught the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil (Dot Fade)
• stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Jenni Bowlin Chicken Feed Ink
• add some splatters of Radiant Rain Shimmer Mist (Pewter)
