Joy in a Cup

Hi there,

today I am part of the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop for STAMPlorations and this is my creation:

• stamp the coffee cup, bag and donut from the STAMPlorations Coffee Petites set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black - use the masking technique
• leave the masks on and stamp the present from the STAMPlorations Hello Christmas set
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background with Distress Ink (Salvaged Patina, Pumice Stone) and a Blending Brush
• for extra-texture in the background apply some more Distress Ink Salvaged Patina through the ARTplorations Oh my Stars! mini stencil 
• add the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Just Caffeinate sticker set
• add strips of black cardstock and patterned paper from the BoBunny Candy Cane Lane 6x6 paper pad to the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Snowy Snowman

Hi there,

I created this snowman card using the new Karten-Kunst Zaubersterne stamp set:

• cut out a stitched rectangle from smooth white cardstock
• stamp the adorable snowman from the Karten-Kunst Zaubersterne set with Memento Gray Flannel
• color the image with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers and add highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Kalligraphie im Dezember set with that same grey ink
• add in some snowflakes from the Karten-Kunst Spiral-Text Schnee set with Distress Oxide Ink (Tumbled Glass, Broken China)
• layer the panel on top of some patterned paper from the BoBunny Altitude 6x6 paper pad before adhering it to a cardbase

I created this Christmas Critter card for the Stamping-Fairies Facebook Group:

• cut out a rectangle from watercolor cardstock and stamp three critters and the sentiment from the Avery Elle Polar Peek a Boo Pals with Versafine Onyx Black
• color the images with Faber-Castell Albrecht-Dürer pencils and a damp watercolor brush
• stamp some snowflakes from the same set with Altenew Crisp Ink (Arctic, Caribbean Sky)
• add some Nuvo Drops White Blizzard as final embellishment
• mount the watercolor panel onto a piece of patterned paper from the BoBunny Altitude 6x6 paper pad before adhering all the layers to a kraft cardbase

I created this adorable snowmen card using the Create a Smile Geheime Zutat stamp set:

• stamp images from the Create a Smile Geheime Zutat set with Versafine Onyx Black 
• color them with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and add highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background with Distress Oxide Inks (Blueprint Sketch, Wilred Violet)
• add splatters with pearlized water for extra sparkle and texture
• add a strip of patterned paper from the BoBunny Candy Cane Lane 6x6 paper pad at the bottom of the panel
• add dimension to the noses and the hearts with Nuvo Crystal Glaze and Nuvo Jewels Drops Strawberry Coulis
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder

Hi there,

we are starting a new Christmas Challenge over on the Happy Little Stampers Blog and this time the optional twist is "Stencil":

• stamp both sides of the penguin from the Art Impressions Snowman and Penguin Set with Memento (Tuxedo Black)
• color the images with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils and Zest-it
• add white Liquid Applique to the rim and the pompon of the hat
• cut out a stitched panel from watercolor paper and cut one of the My Favorite Things Stitched Peek-a-Boo Windows into that panel, a white cardbase and another panel cut from patterned paper from the BoBunny Altitude 6x6 paper pad
• apply some Distress Oxide Ink (Broken China) through the Memory Box Tiny Snowflake stencil and mist the watercolor panel with Pearlized Water
• stamp some more snowflakes from the Lawn Fawn Toboggan Together set with Distress Oxide Ink (Broken China) to the outside and inside of the card
• stamp the two parts of the sentiment from the same stamp set with that same ink to the outside and inside as well
• for more interest heat-emboss some of the snowflakes inside the card with WOW! Silver Pearl embossing powder

we are starting a new Challenge over on the Addicted to Stamps and More Blog and I would like to show you this colorful birthday card:

• create kind of a film strip using one of the My Favorite Things Blueprints 27 dies and white cardstock
• stamp three of the adorable chameleons from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Color Chameleon set with Memento (Tuxedo Black) into the frames 
• color the images with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it
• color the frame with a Touch Twin Brush Marker and add texture by stamping the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain with Avery Elle Pigment Ink (Kraft)
• stamp the Create a Smile Color your Polka onto a white background panel with Versamark and heat-emboss all the circles with WOW! Vintage Amethyst embossing powder
• stamp the "birthday" from the Lawn Fawn Big Scripty Words set with the same brown ink onto the matching die cut from patterned paper from the BoBunny Lemonade Stand 6x6 paper pad
• layer a die cut from kraft cardstock behind this part of the sentiment
• cut out two little banner strips from the same patterned paper and stamp the "happy" from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Mini Messages set with Versafine (Onyx Black) and heat-emboss it with clear embossing powder
• adhere some sequins from Little Things from Lucy's Cards Lucky Dip II as final embellishments
• add a thin strip of kraft cardstock to the right side of the panel before assembling the card

Sunshine Butterfly

Hi there,

it is time for a new Challenge over at the Skipping Stones Design Blog and this time it is all about "Summer":

• stamp the striped butterfly from the Skipping Stones Design Let it be stamp set several times with Versafine (Onyx Black) - once on white cardstock as a backing for the whole embellishment and onto three differnt sheets of patterned paper from BoBunny Lemonade Stand
• paper-piece the butterfly and add Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Glitter to the yellow and green portions
• apply Distress Ink (Scattered Straw) to a stitched white cardpanel with a Mini Ink Blending Tool in a circular motion in order to create a backdrop
• stamp the second part of the sentiment with Versafine (Onyx Black) and part of the "Sparkle & Shine " from the same stamp set
• cut out the first part of the sentiment from the teal patterned paper used on the butterfly with the help of the Paper Smooches Alpha Whimsy die set
• add Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Glitter to the die cut letters
• adhere the butterfly to the panel and the panel to a white cardbase using foam tape

Mosaic Heart Ornament

Hi there,

it is time for our Holiday Challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More:

• cover a wooden heart with coarse texture paste and press some patterned paper snippets from the BoBunny Altitute 6x6 paper pad directly into the paste
• wait until everything is completely dry and then cover the mosaic pieces with Glossy Accents
• glue some neutral twine to the back of the ornament using hot glue
• cut out the word merry from foam adhesive using one of the WPlus9 Hand Lettered Holiday dies, remove the backing and cover it with purple foil

• cut out two tags - one from watercolor paper and one from patterned paper from the BoBunny Candy Cane Lane 6x6 paper pad
• use a star punch to punch the tag hole
• create a background on the watercolor paper tag using Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Cracked Pistachio) and spritz it with Prima Marketing Color Bloom Sparkling Pastels Pearl White Spray
• cut out two hill shapes from sturdy white cardstock, cover them with Versamark and heat-emboss them with JudiKins White Diamond embossing powder
• stamp the cute little snowman from Avery Elle Be Jolly with Memento (Tuxedo Black) on Perfect Colouring Paper and color the image with Delta Markers and Liquid Applique
• add some shimmer to the scarf and the cap with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
• stamp some snowflakes from the same stamp set with Delicata (shimmery Silver)
• cut two strips of patterned paper from the paper pad mentioned above on stamp the sentiment from the Avery Elle stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black) on one of them
• add five Hazel & Ruby Shine & Sparkle sequins and thread Prima Marketing Jute Trim Wheat through the holes of the tags
• round the top right corner of the white cardbase with a 1'' corner rounder

Paint Splatters

Hi there,

when I saw the Sketch #126 on the Freshly Made Sketches Blog, my first thought was paint splatters. Here is my creation.

Supplies:
BoBunny Stamps - Sentiments Stamp
kraft cardstock
white cardstock
American Crafts - Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm 6x6 Paper Pad
Distress Stains (Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac, Spun Sugar)
Distress Ink (Dusty Concord)

And since the Distress Stains Paint Splatters created a beautiful watercolor-effect, I would also like to upload this card to the Virginia's View Challenge #1 - Watercoloring.

I hope you like this fun and easy to make card.
