Hello, Baby Chick!

Hi there,

this is my third and final project using the Impronte d'Autore Baby Chick stamp set created for Mennys Bastelshop:

• stamp another one of the adorable chicks from the Impronte d'Autore Baby Chick set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background using the Hero Arts Tulip Pattern stencils and Distress Ink (Milled Lavender, Victorian Velvet, Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint)
• layer the panel on light purple cardstock before adding it to the cardbase
• add the Gummiapan Hallo as a sentiment cut three times from white cardstock

All my Love for your Birthday

Hi there,

I created this elegant card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out two Karten-Kunst Scribble Leaves from golden foiled cardstock
• cut out one of the Karten-Kunst 1/8 Inch Circles from kraft cardstock, stamp the Karten-Kunst Script Background with Versamark and heat-emboss this background and the edges of the circle with WOW! Polished Gold Super Fine embossing powder
• cut out some banana leaf cardstock using a die from the Karten-Kunst Card Designer A6 set
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine set with Versamark onto a strip of grass cardstock and heat-emboss it with that same golden embossing powder
• cut the sentiment strip apart and ink up the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• adhere all the layers to a kraft cardbase
• splatter the card with watered-down golden acrylic paint

• cut out the Spellbinders Floral Reflection from colored cardstock
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 2 set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Scorched Timber

Watercolor Greetings

Hi there,

I created this Watercolor Card using the Anjas Basteltraum Blumengrüße stamp set:

• stamp one of the larger images from the Anjas Basteltraum Blumengrüße set with Versamark onto a piece of watercolor paper and heat-emboss it with WOW! Polished Gold Super Fine embossing powder
• color the image and the background with watercolors
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Blumengruß set with Versamark onto a strip of dark green cardstock and heat-emboss it with that same golden embossing powder
• add gold embossing on the edges of the watercolor panel
• adhere the panel to a dark green cardbase

Hi there,

I tried something new today: Distress Inks on Photo Paper. I got the idea from a YouTube Short by Ranger. So I created this rusty, vintage card for the Karten-Kunst Blog.

• add color to a panel of photo paper with Distress Ink (Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo) using a brayer
• run the panel through your Big Shot in an embossing folder
• add Distress Ink Walnut Stain to the raised areas
• add some Distress Oxide Spray Salvaged Patina
• use the Karten-Kunst Card Designer A6 die set to cut the panel apart
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Weise Worte für Freunde with white pigment ink and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Salvaged Patina
• cut the Karten-Kunst Carissa Bloom from dark brown cardstock and add it to the layout
• add some splatters with the Distress Oxide Spray Salvaged Patina

• create a background with the help of the My Favorite Things Wonky Stitched Rectangles, the Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine set and Brilliance Sunflower Yellow
• add five glittery yellow hearts cut using the Create a Smile Hearts die set

• cut out the Karten-Kunst Clouds from pearlescent vellum
• create a background using Distress Oxide Inks (Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass)
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Schriftzug-Set Wünsch Dir was with Versafine Onyx Black
• add three Lawn Fawn Party Balloons cut from colored cardstock
• ink up the edges of the balloons with Distress Ink (Peeled Paint, Peacock Feathers, Wild Honey)
• add highlights with a white gel pen

Gnome Tag

Hi there,

it's Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this week we agreed on creating a tag:

• cut out a tag from Bristol Smooth Cardstock
• stamp one of the adorable gnomes and the sentiment from the My Favorite Things Happy Birthday to my Favorite Gnomie set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• ink up the edges of the tag with all colors of the rainbow (I just used the leftover ink on my blending brushes)
• add a strand of twine through the hole of the tag

Vintage All my Love

Hi there,

I created this vintage-looking card using the Karten-Kunst Das rockt Alles Liebe die:

• create a background on a panel of watercolor paper using Distress Ink (Old Paper, Lost Shadow, Hickory Smoke)
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Das rockt Alles Liebe and three of the Karten-Kunst Dandelion Hearts and color the these elements with Distress Ink as well
• assemble the card
