Happy Birthday Birds

Hi there,

I would like to share another creation with the Gerda Steiner Designs February/March Digital Stamp Bundle:

  • color the fun Gerda Steiner Designs Birds with Banner image which is available as part of the Gerda Steiner Designs February/March Digital Stamp Bundle with Copic, Delta, DIY and Touch Twin Brush Markers
  • add Glossy Accents to the beaks and the glasses
  • draw little random dots around the image with a Distress Marker (Cracked Pistachio)
  • ink up the edges of the focal panel with Distress Ink (Cracked Pistachio)
  • cut a notebook border using one of the CUTplorations Art Edges dies from a piece of black cardstock and layer it behind the main panel
  • create a background on a turquoise piece of cardstock with the help of Versamark and the present from the Gerda Steiner Designs Monster Fun stamp set

Laundry Cat

Hi there,

the Gerda Steiner Designs February/March Digital Stamp Bundle is available and this is my first creation using one of the fabulous images:

  • color the adorable Cat on Laundry Basket which is available as part of the February/March Digital Stamp Bundle with Copic, Delta, DIY and Touch Twin Brush Markers
  • cut a stitched panel from watercolor paper and stamp a little scene using images from the Paper Smooches Squeaky Clean set and Versafine (Onyx Black)
  • color these background images with Stabilo Aquacolor Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • stamp the sentiment from the Gerda Steiner Designs Monster Fun set with Versafine (Imperial Purple)
  • add little tiles with the help of the Memory Box Distressed Grid stencil and Distress Ink (Pumice Stone)
  • add Glossy Accents to the washing machine door and add a little yellow enamel dot as its handle
  • mount the panel onto a kraft cardbase

Happy Birthday Candle

Hi there,

join our Birthday Linky Party for the lovely, kind and generous owner of STAMPlorations Shery Russ:

  • create a background with Alcohol Inks (Sailboat Blue, Pink Sherbet, Aqua, Pool, Raspberry, Wild Plum) and Alcohol Ink Blending Solution on a piece of Lanavanguard paper 
  • cut out a stitched panel using one of the Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers
  • stamp the lollipop from the STAMPlorations Kathryn's Big Wishes stamp set with Archival Ink (Watering Can) and wipe it away with a dry cloth in order to create a ghosting effect
  • stamp the candle from the same stamp set with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and color it with DIY and Touch Twin Brush Markers
  • cut out a banner from black cardstock using one of the My Favorite Things Blueprints 27 dies, stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • cut out the happy from purple glitter foam rubber with the help of the Memory Box Paintbrush Happy die
  • add a thin strip of black cardstock and a strip of patterned paper from the My Favorite Things Rainbow Stripes 6x6 paper pad to the left side of the panel before adhering it to a white cardbase

Dare to spread your Wings

Hi there,

we have a fun Theme Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations for you:



  • stamp the cute little dog from the Penny Black Buddy & Duck stamp set slightly offset onto a stitched panel using Memento (Tuxed Black)
  • color the image with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and DIY Markers
  • add highlights to the nose and the balloon with a white gel pen
  • add glitter to the dots on the balloon and cover it with the Clear Pico Embellisher
  • stamp the sentiment from the Prima Marketing Don't forget to fly stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black)
  • add little ribbon banners and a strip of foiled cardstock to the right side of the card

Sending Love

Hi there,

it is time for our Make your Mark Challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More:


  • color the sweet Sami Stamps Little One image with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and DIY Markers
  • stamp the first part of the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn You've got Mail stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black) 
  • cut out the second part of the sentiment from white cardstock using the WPlus9 Love Mom Layers
  • color the die cut sentiment with a dark purple Touch Twin Brush Marker and emboss the bottom part using the Versamarker and WOW! Metallic Platinum embossing powder
  • add a strip of cardstock with the same dark purple marker and add it to the left of the card

Stamp Connection #12

Hi there,

connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our 12th transatlantic get-together!

Our requirement for this meet-up was:
"create your own background with small stamps"

  • stamp one of the adorable little sheep and the grassy hill from the My Favorite Things Ewe are the Best stamp set onto a stitched panel cut from watercolor paper with Versafine (Smokey Gray) and color the scene with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a waterbrush
  • stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black)
  • cover the sheep with Multi Medium Matte and apply Sparkling White Flocking on top
  • add Glossy Accents to the heart
  • cut out another stitched panel and stamp the little flowers from the set with Memento (Gray Flannel) and color them with DIY, Delta and Touch Twin Brush Markers

Happy Birthday Human

Hi there,

it's time for the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog Hop to launch two fabulous new stamp sets and this is my creation:



  • create a galaxy background on stitched watercolor paper panel using Distress Paints (Broken China, Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac, Chipped Sapphire, Picket Fence)
  • color the images from the brand new Gerda Steiner Designs Alien Invasion stamp set with Delta, DIY and Touch Twin Markers and add highlights with a white gel pen
  • use double-sided foam tape to adhere all the elements
  • add some dots using a silver and a white gel pen and LittleThings from Lucy's Cards Fairy Dust
  • finish the card by adding a strip of silver glitter cardstock to the right side of the card before adhering it to a white cardbase
