I would like to share another creation with the Gerda Steiner Designs February/March Digital Stamp Bundle:

• color the fun Gerda Steiner Designs Birds with Banner image which is available as part of the Gerda Steiner Designs February/March Digital Stamp Bundle with Copic, Delta, DIY and Touch Twin Brush Markers
• add Glossy Accents to the beaks and the glasses
• draw little random dots around the image with a Distress Marker (Cracked Pistachio)
• ink up the edges of the focal panel with Distress Ink (Cracked Pistachio)
• cut a notebook border using one of the CUTplorations Art Edges dies from a piece of black cardstock and layer it behind the main panel
• create a background on a turquoise piece of cardstock with the help of Versamark and the present from the Gerda Steiner Designs Monster Fun stamp set

Hi there,

the Gerda Steiner Designs February/March Digital Stamp Bundle is available and this is my first creation using one of the fabulous images:

• color the adorable Cat on Laundry Basket which is available as part of the February/March Digital Stamp Bundle with Copic, Delta, DIY and Touch Twin Brush Markers
• cut a stitched panel from watercolor paper and stamp a little scene using images from the Paper Smooches Squeaky Clean set and Versafine (Onyx Black)
• color these background images with Stabilo Aquacolor Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
• stamp the sentiment from the Gerda Steiner Designs Monster Fun set with Versafine (Imperial Purple)
• add little tiles with the help of the Memory Box Distressed Grid stencil and Distress Ink (Pumice Stone)
• add Glossy Accents to the washing machine door and add a little yellow enamel dot as its handle
• mount the panel onto a kraft cardbase

today, I would like to show you this fun Easter Card which I created for the Addicted to Stamps and More Holiday Challenge:

• stamp one of the adorable monkeys from the STAMPlorations Chikoo goes Bananas stamp set and some eggs from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Spring stamp set with Memento (Tuxedo Black)
• color the images with Delta Markers, Touch Twin Marker and DIY Markers
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out a background from blue paper from the Avery Elle Sorbet Collection 6x6 paper pad using the Taylored Expressions Egg Stacklets
• create a grassy border by cutting out another egg and the Lawn Fawn Grassy Border from the same patterned paper pad
• cut out the first part of the sentiment from green glitter foam rubber with the help of the Clearly Besotted Stamps Happy Word die
• stamp the second part of the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Mini Messages stamp set with Versamark on a strip of black cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• cut put a stitched panel from Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardstock and adhere all the layers to a kraft cardbase
• add a stitched line around the egg with a white gel pen as a finishing touch

Unicorn Birthday Invitation

Hi there,

why don't you join us for our Make your Mark Challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More? This is the birthday invitation that I created for my little daughter:

 

• stamp the unicorn and the cake from Mama Elephant Unicorns and Rainbows with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and color the images with Delta, Touch Twin and DIY Markers
• cut out Karten-Kunst Große Texte Einladung (Invitation) from pink glitter foam rubber
• cut a stitched panel from watercolor paper using the Waltzingmouse Stamps Stitched Rectangles and create a background using Color Lab (Aqua) and Color Bloom Summer Sky
• add a gemstone on top of the "i", Distress Stickles (Spun Sugar) to the icing of the cake and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the mane and the tail of the unicorn
• cut out some clouds from light blue felt as a final embellishment

connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our 12th transatlantic get-together!

Our requirement for this meet-up was:
"create your own background with small stamps"

• stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black)
• cover the sheep with Multi Medium Matte and apply Sparkling White Flocking on top
• add Glossy Accents to the heart
• cut out another stitched panel and stamp the little flowers from the set with Memento (Gray Flannel) and color them with DIY, Delta and Touch Twin Brush Markers

• create a galaxy background on stitched watercolor paper panel using Distress Paints (Broken China, Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac, Chipped Sapphire, Picket Fence)
• color the images from the brand new Gerda Steiner Designs Alien Invasion stamp set with Delta, DIY and Touch Twin Markers and add highlights with a white gel pen
• use double-sided foam tape to adhere all the elements

• finish the card by adding a strip of silver glitter cardstock to the right side of the card before adhering it to a white cardbase

today, I would like to show you this fun birthday card I created using the colors of our new challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations:

• stamp one of the cute little frogs and the fly from Clearly Besotted Stamps Jump for Joy with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and color the image with Delta, Touch Twin Markers and a white gel pen
• add Wink of Stella Clear and Silver Glitter to the wings of the fly
• create a background on watercolor paper using Distress Inks (Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade), a Mini Mister and a piece of acetate
• use the Paper Smooches Flourishes 2 for some texture behind the frog
• color a piece of watercolor paper wiht the same Distress Ink colors and cut out the happy from My Favorite Things Brushstroke Birthday
• cut the happy a second time from black cardstock and layer it behind the watercolor sentiment as a shadow
• stamp the second part of the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Mini Messages with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add a strip of black cardstock and a green tissue fringe border cut with the help of the Memory Box Fringe Border to finish the card

Alcohol Ink Backgrounds IV - One of a kind Dino

Hi there,

this is the fourth and last part of my little series for the Karten-Kunst-Blog and it is all about Alcohol Ink Backgrounds. Today, we are creating a bubbly background:

• cut out a tag from Lanavanguard Paper using the Clearly Besotted Rounded Tag die
• drip the Alcohol Inks (Aqua, Pool, Stonewashed, Sailboat Blue) directly onto the paper and watch how they form concentric circles
• stamp the adorbale dinosaur from the Lawn Fawn Critters from the Past stamp set with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and the sentiment from Karten-Kunst Du bist ... with VersaMagic (Midnight Black)
• color the image with Delta Markers and DIY Alcohol Ink Markers and add dots with a white gel pen
• thread a piece of Linen Ribbon through the hole of the tag, secure it with the help of the Tiny Attacher and add an enamel dot as final embellishment
