today, I would like to share another Birthday card with you that I created as the Special Party Guest for the fabulous Seize the Birthday Challenge with no Topping this week:

• cut out a stitched panel from watercolor paper using the Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers
• stamp the STAMPlorations Dogwood Large with Versafine (Smokey Gray) several times and color the images with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a damp brush
• add some paint splatters with the colors used on the flowers
• stamp the sentiment from Mama Elephant Confetti with Versafine (Smokey Gray)
• adhere the panel to a panel from Distress Cardstock (Dusty Concord)
• add some Pretty Pink Posh Sequins (6mm and 4mm Sparkling Clear) as final embellishment

Love Ornament

Hi there,

I would like to share a step-by-step tutorial for this felt Christmas ornament using one of my favorite ARTplorations stencils:

• cut out two hearts from pink felt using the My Favorite Things Pierced Heart STAX
• sponge Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylic Paint (Sterling) through the ARTplorations Hearts all over stencil
• start sewing together both parts and fill the heart with cotton before finally closing it
• cut out the word love with the help of the Lil' Inker Designs Mixed & Stitched Alphabet die set from soft lilac felt and adhere the letters to the heart using fabric adhesive
• add some lilac twine at the top and thread it through two jingle bells before closing the two ends with a knot

This is one of the presents my daughter Emily (5) got for Christmas this year. I created it with a new lovely image from A Day for Daisies:

• cut out a stitched square from Mixed Media paper using the My Favorite Things Stitched Square STAX
• color the A Day for Daisies Quiet Fairy with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a damp brush
• add Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the dress and Wink of Stella Silver Glitter to her wings
• prepare a panel of very sturdy white cardboard and create a background using Distress Paints (Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar)
• apply pearl-white texture paste through the ARTplorations Leaf Bliss Large stencil and let dry
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Picked Raspberry)
• create a paper cluster using patterned paper from the Pebbles Garden Party 6x6 paper pad
• add some pieces of seam binding 
• cut out two Poppy Stamps Massa Leaf Backgrounds from purple vellum
• cut out the Lawn Fawn Scripty Love from sturdy white cardstock and color the sentiment with Distress Paint (Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry) and add Distress Glitter (Clear Rock Candy) on top

this is another Christmas card that I created for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• stamp the sleigh from the Poppy Stamps Christmas Delights stamp set and mask it with Eclipse Tape, stamp the bag inside and cut out the image
• color the image with Delta Markers and a silver and golden gel pen
• add Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the sleigh
• cut out two stitched rectangles - one from watercolor paper and one from sturdy white cardstock - using the Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers
• create a background on the watercolor paper using Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean) and stamp the stars from the same set with Delicata (Golden Glitz)
• add the sentiment with Versafine (Majestic Blue)
• cut out a hillshape from the second stitched panel, cover it with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! White Puff Ultra High embossing powder

Hi there,

connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our eighth transatlantic get-together!

Our requirements for this meet-up were:
"Cute Critter + Christmas"

• stamp the cute cat from Avery Elle Furry Friends with Memento (Rich Cocoa), mask it with Eclipse Tape and stamp part of the cushion from the same set 
• stamp the santa hat from Mama Elephant Arctic Penguins and color all the images with Delta Markers
• add Liquid Applique to the rim of the hat
• stamp the Hero Arts Magical Background onto a Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardbase with Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink and add the first part of the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Spooktacular and the second part of the sentiment from Paper Smooches A Blessed Christmas with Memento (Rich Cocoa)
• round all four corners with a 1/2'' corner rounder
• cut out the Neat & Tangled Heart of Gold - once from Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardstock and once from pink foiled cardstock
• add some pink pieces to the mosaic heart

I finally found the time to play with the From the Heart Stamp of the Month:

• color the From the Heart Stamps Gift Stack Teddy Bear with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens, a damp brush, Liquid Applique, Wink of Stella Clear Glitter and a golden gel pen
• cut out a stitched panel from watercolor paper using the Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers and create a background with the help of the three main colors used on the image
• add some Perfect Pearls Mist (Heirloom Gold) to this background panel
• stamp the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Mini Messages with Versafine (Crimson Red) on a strip of kraft cardstock; cut it into a banner shape and add stitching using one of the Lawn Fawn Stitched Borders
• color a piece of acetate with Alcohol Ink (Clover) and cut out two leaves using the Paper Smooches Holly Dies
• add three red enamel dots as berries
• adhere the image with foam tape over a swirl of golden thread

• cut out a stitched panel from Mixed Media paper using the Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers
• color the A Day for Daisies Tree Angel with Art Grip Aquarelle Pencils and a damp brush
• add some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to her wings, some dark blue paint splatters and two pearls to the top of the tree
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Vertikale Worte II stamp set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with Ranger Wild Plum embossing powder
• stamp some flowers and leaves from the Neat & Tangled Dala Horse stamp set using Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Bubble Gum), Jenni Bowlin (Stick Candy) and Altenew Crisp Dye Ink (Lavender Fields)
• mat the panel onto a grey piece of light grey cardstock embossed with the Sizzix Swirls embossing folder

this is my second creation as the Seize the Birthday Surprise Party Guest using red and white:

• create a background on watercolor paper using Brushos (Crimson, Rose Red) and cut out a stitched panel with the help of the Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers
• spritz the whole panel with Pearlized Water
• cut out the largest My Favorite Things Scribble Rose from vellum and one of the MFT Flutter of Butterflies - Lace from white cardstock
• cover the butterfly with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Clear Sparkle embossing powder
• stamp the sentiment from Altenew Label Love with VersaMagic (Midnight Black) ... I used my DIY Stamp Positioner and stamped it twice ... and adhere the strip with foam tape

• cut a piece of kraft cardstock as wide as the bag and double as high as you want it to be later on and score it in the middle
• use an oval die to round the top and a smaller one to cut out the handle
• stamp the cat from Lawn Fawn Spooktacular, the fox from Lawn Fawn Into the Woods and the sugar cane and stocking from Lawn Fawn Trim the Tree with Versamark and heat-emboss everything with JudiKins Egyptian Gold embossing powder
• add stars from Lawn Fawn Spooktacular with Delicata (Shimmery Silber) and pine tree branches from Lawn Fawn Deck the Halls with Versafine (Olympia Green)
• color the images with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a damp brush
• cut out Karten-Kunst Frohe Weihnachten ("Merry Christmas") from red foiled cardstock and adhere it to the gift bag topper
