Hugs Koala

Hi there,

I created this sweet card using the Gerda Steiner Designs You're Koalafied stamp set:

  • stamp the adorable koala and the little heart from the Gerda Steiner Designs You're Koalafied set with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils 
  • add highlights with a white gel pen
  • adhere the image to a vellum circle
  • create a background on a grass cardstock cardbase using the Echo Park Tropical Palms die set, green cardstock and Distress Ink Forest Moss
  • ink up the edges of the cardbase with that same green ink as well
  • cut out the Lawn Fawn Scripty Hugs and add Distress Ink Ground Espresso to the bottom part

You're the sweetest Magic Picture Changer

Hi there,

I created this sweet birthday card using the new Lawn Fawn Magic Picture Changer:


  • stamp the ice cream cone and the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Sweetest Flavor set with My Favorite Things Extreme Black Ink 
  • add the party hat from the Lawn Fawn Hang in there set and confetti from the Neat & Tangled Wild Ones set to the After-Picture
  • color the images with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
  • add the little cheeks with Distress Oxide Ink Worn Lipstick
  • add some frames cut from patterned paper from the Echo Park Splendid Sunshine 6x6 paper pad
  • create the "Happy Birthday" with a Label Maker

Big Wishes

Hi there,

we are starting a new TAGplorations Challenge over on the STAMPlorations Blog and this time the Topic is All about Recycling and the Optional Twist is Tissue Paper:

  • cut out a CUTplorations Manila Tag from sturdy white cardstock and cover the whole tag with some polka-dotted packaging tissue paper using gel medium
  • add some color to the background with Distress Oxide Ink (Picked Raspberry)
  • some water droplets and black splatters provide more texture
  • stamp the girl and the lollipop from the STAMPlorations Kathryn's Big Wishes set with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and color the images with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
  • ground the sweet little girl on some patterned paper strips from the Echo Park Splendid Sunshine paper pad
  • thread some pink and natural twine through the hole of the tag

Summer Fun

Hi there,

I created this Summer Fun project using images created by the wonderful Gerda Steiner. You can find them over at Gerda Steiner Designs:


  • color the Gerda Steiner Designs Watermelon Kid and the Gerda Steiner Designs Bear with Watermelon with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and Zest-it
  • cut put some Polaroids using patterned paper from the Echo Park Summer Bliss 6x6 paper pad and one of the My Favorite Things Polaroids dies
  • dry emboss a stitched piece of Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock with the Tim Holtz Ringer embossing folder for extra dimension
  • add another strip of patterned paper underneath the pictures and adhere all the layers to a cardbase
  • add the sentiment created with a Dymo Label Maker

Happy Easter Hearts

Hi there,

I would like to show you another adorable Easter Card over on the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut a panel from white cardstock using one of the Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers dies
  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Brückentext Frohe Ostern
  • layer a piece of mint green striped cardstock from the Echo Park Dots & Stripes 8x8 paper pad behind the opening
  • stamp one of the adorable bunnies from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Hoppy set with Memento (Tuxedo Black)
  • color the images with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
  • add additional shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils and a highlight to the eyes with a white gel pen

Birthday Cake Cat

Hi there,

it's time for a new challenge over at Moving along with the Times and the topic is Birthday Cake. I would like to show you this adorable Slider Card that I created for my husband's birthday:


  • cut out the Miss Kate Cuttables Birthday Cake from watercolor paper and color the pieces with Distress Ink (Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Ground Espresso, Gathered Twigs, Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough) and a Mini Ink Blending Tool
  • add some Pico Embellisher (Shimmer) to the frosting of the cake
  • stamp the cute cat from the Mama Elephant Lunar Animals set with Versafine (Smokey Gray) onto watercolor paper and color the image with Distress Markers (Hickory Smoke, Tattered Rose) and a damp watercolor brush
  • add highlights to the eyes and the nose with a white gel pen
  • create a background on a stitched panel of watercolor paper using Distress Markers (Pumice Stone, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers), the Distress Marker Spritzer and water from a Mini Mister
  • apply Distress Ink (Peacock Feathers) through the Echo Park Mini Dot stencil
  • cut out a slider slot from the background panel using one of the Lawn Fawn Slide on over dies
  • assemble the slider using foam tape and a little handle cut from turquoise cardstock
  • cut out the CUTplorations Birthday Word die from black cardstock and cover the letters with Pico Embellisher (Shimmer)
  • add the first part of the sentiment with the help of the Dymo Label Maker
  • mat the panel onto a piece of silver glitter cardstock before adhering it to a white cardbase
  • add a little glitter heart cut with one of the dies from the My Favorite Things Hip Clips set to the slider handle
