we are starting a new Theme Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations and this time it is all about "Banners":

• color the little sailboat from the MyGrafico Sail away with us digital stamp set with Delta Markers, DIY Alcohol Ink Marker and add highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out two banners with the My Favorite Things Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX - one from white cardstock and one from watercolor paper
• create a background on the banner cut from watercolor paper using Brushos (Turquoise) and water from your Mini Mister
• stamp the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Mini Messages with Versafine (Onyx Black)
• color the border of the second banner with one of the blues used on the sailboat
• cut out a Waltzingmouse Stamps Stitched Scalloped Rectangle from patterned paper from the Create a Smile Feel good paper pad
• adhere all the layers to a Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardbase

Hi there,

today, I want to share this cute Valentine's Day Shaker Card for the A Day for Daisies Design Team with you. We are also starting a new challenge and it's called "All my Love":

• color the adorable A Day for Daisies Cupid Dreams with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a damp brush
• add Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the cloud
• cut out a stitched heart from the Avery Elle Geek Love die set from a Neenah Desert Storm kraft card panel
• first apply Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink through the Scrappberry's Mini-Hearts stencil and afterwards apply Distress Ink (Spun Sugar) over them
• create a background on a piece of watercolor paper using Distress Inks (Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry) and spritz it with Pearlized Water
• cover the heart with acetate and surround it with foam adhesive
• fill the shaker element with pink seed beeds and Prima Marketing Pearl Glass Glitter and close it with the pink watercolor piece
• cut the Clearly Besotted Love die from pink foil cardstock and adhere it over the shaker window

• cut out a stitched panel from watercolor paper using the Waltzingmouse Stamps Stitched Rectangles
• stamp some wildflowers from the Skipping Stones Design Dandelion Dreams stamps set with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• create a background using Distress Inks (Shabby Shutters, Scattered Straw, Stormy Sky)
• stamp the sentiment from the Skipping Stones Design Hearty Hello stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black), cut it out and color the white parts with the same Distress Inks
• mat the panel onto a black cardbase

Hi there,

sadly, this is my last post as the Seize the Birthday Special Party Guest and I created a card using a sketch as my inspiration:

• color some scraps of watercolor paper with watercolors from the Daniel Smith Essientials and PrimaTek Watercolor Sets - add splatters with watered-down Delicata Re-Inker (Shimmery Silver)
• cut out a background and a frame from this watercolor piece using the My Favorite Things Stitched Circle STAX; cut an additional frame from foam rubber and a circle from acetate
• assemble the shaker piece and add Pretty Pink Posh Sequins (4mm and 6mm Sparkling Clear, 6mm Pink Peonies, 4mm Pansy Purple, 4mm Metallic Silver) before closing it
• cut out flowers and leaves from the watercolor piece with the help of the Paper Smooches Flowers dies
• emboss a piece of grey cardstock using the We R Memory Keepers Bouquet Next Level embossing folder and ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Hickory Smoke)
• adhere the embossed piece to another panel of grey cardstock and stamp the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Mini Messages with Versafine (Smokey Gray)
• wrap silver thread around the panels multiple times before adhering them to a cardbase

Mosaic Heart Ornament

Hi there,

it is time for our Holiday Challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More:

• cover a wooden heart with coarse texture paste and press some patterned paper snippets from the BoBunny Altitute 6x6 paper pad directly into the paste
• wait until everything is completely dry and then cover the mosaic pieces with Glossy Accents
• glue some neutral twine to the back of the ornament using hot glue
• cut out the word merry from foam adhesive using one of the WPlus9 Hand Lettered Holiday dies, remove the backing and cover it with purple foil

I have another STAMPlorations Stencil Sunday Project for you today. I called it Tag Duo:

And you will get a step-by-step tutorial for each one of them:

• create a background using Distress Paints (Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon)
• dye Texture Paste with Dylusions Ink Spray (Vibrant Turquoise) and apply it through the ARTplorations Bold Florals stencil
• cut out a tag using the Sizzix Tag Collection
• ink up the edges with  Distress Ink (Wilted Violet)
• add splatters using Twinkling H2Os (Siam White)
• ink up the edges of the Cosmo Cricket Tiny Text Just Because Stickers with Distress Ink (Wilted Violet)

connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our ninth transatlantic get-together!

Our requirements for this meet-up were:
"Stamping without Stamps"

• cover a piece of watercolor paper with gesso and create a background with Gelatos (Cotton Candy, Boysenberry) and a wet baby wipe
• use bubble wrap, a cap and gesso to stamp on some texture
• spritz the background with Prima Marketing Color Bloom Sultry Shimmer Cobalt and apply clear embossing powder over the top
• cut out a stitched panel using the Waltzingmouse Stamps Stitched Rectangles
• cut out the sentiment with the help of Penny Black Doodles and a butterfly using one of the My Favorite Things Flutter of Butterflies - Lace dies from silver foil cardstock
• cover the butterfly with Alcohol Inks (Mushroom, Stonewashed)

• cut out two stitched rectangles using the Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers - one from white and one from green cardstock
• cut a hillshape from the green panel with the help of the My Favorite Things Stitched Snow Drifts
• stamp a bamboo background using a stamp from the My Favorite Things Happy Pandas set and Brilliance (Pearlescent Thyme and Pearlescent Ivy)
• stamp one of the pandas from the same stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black) - I used my DIY stamp press to stamp it twice and get a very crisp impression
• add some shading to the image with PITT Pastel Pencils
• cut out two banners with a die from the My Favorite Things Tag Builder Blueprints 4 - one from green cardstock and one from patterned paper from the Pebbles Front Porch 6x6 paper pad
• stamp the sentiment from the Mama Elephant Lunar Extras stamp set onto the green banner with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• mat the panel onto a piece of black cardstock

• add Versamark to the starfish and heat-emboss it with JudiKins Egyptian Gold embossing powder
• add silver thread behind the focal image
• cover a piece of watercolor paper with gesso and create a background with Gelatos (Cotton Candy, Boysenberry) and a wet baby wipe
• use bubble wrap, a cap and gesso to stamp on some texture
• spritz the background with Prima Marketing Color Bloom Sultry Shimmer Cobalt and apply clear embossing powder over the top
• cut out a banner using the My Favorite Things Stitched Fishtail Flag STAX
• add Distress Ink (Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers) around the edges of the banner
• cut out a panel from Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardstock using the Waltzingmouse Stamps Scalloped Stitched Rectangles and emboss it with my new Kaisercraft Circles embossing folder
• stamp the sentiment from Altenew Label Love with Versafine (Majestic Blue) onto a piece of sturdy white cardstock, cut it out and add it to the card using foam adhesive
